I'm starting to realize that the SCP sucks at containment. They keep giving their regular ARs when it's known to not work. It's like going to war with a nerf gun and a prayer.
To be fair: the 610 article states they're to use bullets to shoot infected until they cannot move and then use fire to destroy what's left, seems like a good plan.
There's a decent amount of SCP's that normal weapons will function against. And its too hard to predict what kind of weapons will be useful against a new SCP, and the fancy weapons the SCP foundation have, are very few, and either extremely difficult to make, or just impossible to reproduce. Plus, they prefer to not kill SCP's. So regular guns are the most efficient thing to equip them with. Have a decent chance of working, and even if it can't kill them, it can normally at least stagger them, to buy time to flee.
Well, first off hopefully the SCP foundation is fictional. Second off, normal lead bullets do affect certain anomalies. Yeh but they can't deploy expensive weapons or the Samsara to deal with minor anomalies. And most often when a SCP is first detected, the danger of it is quite unknown so... But yeah ur point makes sense.

And its too hard to predict what kind of weapons will be useful against a new SCP, and the fancy weapons the SCP foundation have, are very few, and either extremely difficult to make, or just impossible to reproduce. Plus, they prefer to not kill SCP's.
So regular guns are the most efficient thing to equip them with. Have a decent chance of working, and even if it can't kill them, it can normally at least stagger them, to buy time to flee.
Well, first off hopefully the SCP foundation is fictional. Second off, normal lead bullets do affect certain anomalies. Yeh but they can't deploy expensive weapons or the Samsara to deal with minor anomalies. And most often when a SCP is first detected, the danger of it is quite unknown so... But yeah ur point makes sense.
