- SCP-1678 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as UnLondon.
SCP-1678 is a full-scale mirror-image reconstruction of the British city of London, located exactly one kilometer underneath the original city of London. The city has been constructed to resemble the city as it was in the Victorian era. The key threat posed by SCP 1678 is by entities referred to in some SCP1678 audio recordings as Bobbies. They are dressed in a uniform similar to Victorian-era police and are extremely hostile towards Foundation personnel, attacking them on sight with improvised weapons.

Theory, Unlondon happened durring a world ending scenario in the past, but with scp 2000 humanity recovered and forgot the event. Sadly unlondon didn't recover. Its interesting to immagine the existence of post apocoliptic scp's existing after scp 2000 saves the world.
That apocalyptic event is SCP-001 "when the day break"

A popular theory is that the event, which UnLondon is preparing for, is actually When Day Breaks. Because those Bobbies are amputated new limbs, so that the organic limbs don't melt in the sunlight, bandages around their head, so that the head isn't exposed to sunlight. Those pigeons are mechanical, so that they also don't melt away. UnLondon is located 1 km under London- far away from sunlight.

Once the area is secure it can be converted into a giant SCP area. It is great for training and conducting military and containment simulations on possible scenarios in Real London.

I feel like this SCP gives more to the lore than mostly anything. Someone knew about the SCP Foundation, and clearly knew what hid inside it. They knew what the SCP's were capable of. But the most interesting;
They knew about some SCP'S before the Foundation did. Such as the hard to kill reptile.
They also felt the need to build an entire city to protect humanity if any of the SCP'S were to escape. This SCP also raises many questions.

Wouldn`t this SCP be perfect for SCP-001 "When days breaks" ? The Boobies would fight the "golemlike" creatures and because they dont have a mind they couldn`t be brainwashed by it. The city itself would be a perfect shelter, if you bring food with you. You are far away from sunlight and have a few guarddogs.
That's what the city is for, but I think SCP-3008 (Ikea) would be a better option.
@@chaowoses infinite ikea was breached and a few different WDB timelines, so in theory it would be a good hideout for a while at least. 3008-2 even helped defend the folks taking refuge inside.

Actually you can convert a p90 to 5.556 I’ve done it I had to do a lot of work and yes it’s a pistol caliber originally (5.7)

when I read about this one I'm reminded that I sort of found out there's a book called un lun dun that's about a character finding an alternate version of london but I think it could just as well be a coincidence. I like the theory I'm seeing where this was a way to take shelter from when day breaks.

Not necessarily. A story was based off that idea but the original scp author stated that wasn’t what he intended but is happy with the crossover.
