This video shows you my sketchbook drawings and paintings I did during the end of 2017 and throughout 2018, starting with Inktober and ending with some hand studies in early 2019. It's a sneak-peek into how I approach my sketchbook art ideas, drawings, practice and continue refining my ongoing projects :)

Thank you for sharing your sketchbook. Please keep producing art. I love it very much!
Thank you for watching and those kind words! :)
I’d love to see you go through your inktober drawings and your graffiti!
Thank you for the feedback! I can do both :D
Delightful sketchbook. Thanks for sharing! Loved your daughters work too :)
Thank you for watching! She is getting better - I don't have to wipe as much varnish off my fingertips as I used to ;)
Fantastic ink work, Gee! So many creative pieces. Loved the nail varnish, too :-)
Thank you!! It did seem like a lot of inkwork this year! I think by using the watercolour paper, I might get a bit more watery media in there this year...
The blue shade was chosen by Amelia and the other we won in a raffle :D she paints my nails (and most of my fingertips!) every holidays.
@@gee355Art I assume she gets more skilled every year! :-D
Love the fingernailstudies :)
Thanks for feedback! Now I've found that imovie will let me add photos like that, as well as videos, I'll be doing a lot more of it! 🙂
Really nice and clean line work!
Thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching! :)
Yea we do wanna see the graffiti studies skechbook!!
No problem!! It is mostly studies and very little original work of mine :( but I can explain what I did and how I deconstructed the graff artists I studied :)
Thanks for the feedback!
Style is good. I'm going to see you well.
Thank you! and thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for sharing the sketchbooks. It is interesting !! Yes, would love to c the inktober ones and the nail varnish is the pièce de résistance :):):)
Thanks for watching :) I'm glad that people are interested in seeing the contents, I know I do with other peoples sketchbooks! I've been meaning to do an Inktober one for a while so I'll get onto that soon... with clear fingernails ;) :)
@@gee355Art Disappointed :) was hoping to see multicolored finger nails :):):)
She will need to get a few more colours for that... :D
Oh! Thank you so much for sharing. A sketchbook can be so personal. Lovely to see how it progresses. Also, would love to see the graffiti book!
Thank you for the feedback! I like the ones where you can see the working out of ideas. I DO like the ones with lots of finished pieces in but that's not how I tend to think/work...
I'm looking forward to the graffiti video - I get to explain why I chose certain pieces and also how I created it as a drawing :D
I’m going to try and list some of my favorites. Hokusai, Elephant in SD, gift, angle, ... oh dang. I’m going to see it again.
It’s really great.
Oh ya, the ones from the statue park and well any of the statues. Gosh it’s all good.
Do you do any large scale work?
I love hearing which pieces people like to remember most from the sketchbook tours, sometimes there's a clear favourite and then other times it's totally different. I think they reflect my personality quite a bit, jumping from certain subject to subject and different media. Its really difficult for me to stay doing one thing again and again! I have enjoyed getting to grips with all those old photos though - and there's more to come 🤣
I feel like I wasn't notified about your last two vids. My daughter is Amelia but she's 30 - it goes fast!
Thank you, I hoped you liked this one! :D I know, and I've done my best to soak up as much time with her as I could over the last 5 years!! As far as the notifications go, I know websites are ALWAYS messing with their algorithms, so maybe I'm a victim of that? Thanks for letting me know - maybe I should do one of those videos where I ask people to make sure they have clicked the Notification bell symbol?? :D
As always though, thanks for watching!!
Tu arte es impresionante, ¿que marca de sketchbook usaste?
Thank you! I think this was watercolour paper, maybe 190gsm and a little rough.
