Amazing Vanilla sponge cake
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- flour (1 cup)
- sugar (1 cup)
- butter (1/3cup)
- milk (1/2 cup)
- vanilla essence (2 tsp)
- baking powder (1 tsp)
To bake cake:
- Put burner on medium heat
- Pour ½ cup of milk in pot and add 1/3 cup butter into a pan and place your burner on medium until butter melts into the. milk
- Stir melted butter mixture before removing from burner
- Allow mixture to cool while you mix other ingredients
- Add 2 eggs to mixing bowl
- Add 1 cup of sugar and whisk until color appears creamy
- Add 1 cup of flour and 1 tsp of baking powder using a sieve
- Whisk a bit before adding 2 tsp of vanilla essence
- Add mixture of warmed up milk + butter
- Pour mixture into bake pan (Put parchment paper in pan so cake removes easily)
- Bake on 350F for 45mins
