S&S soundz the best in my opinion.

V&H has the deepest tone at idle and lkw revs and the sound doesn't get distorted in the higher revs as it does with the other mufflers.

Hi Martijn , As we know v&h comes without heat shields, are they get very hot near the pillion pegs actually my question is it safe to ride with pillion without heat shields as the pegs are very close to slip ons.

Between the S&S and V&H. It is a good video but still hard to tell. Which ones are louder and deeper? Db reducer out obviously on the S&S

Hello I just installed rinehart mufflers after watching video and I feel they don’t sound as loud as this? Do I need to take out baffles? If yes do we have any videos? My motorcycle is brand new
Awesome video, make my life so easier to choose 1 but I have a question for J&P cycles. As I can see v&h doesn't come with heat shields and the pillion pegs are very close to slip ons muffler, so is safe to ride with pillion or is it risky without any heat shields.

It's perfectly safe, not having the heat shield is just a cleaner look.

Great video, thanks! Quick question: i keep hearing a hight pitch sound, like two different sound, one from the muffler (deeper, low pitch) and another from the engine?
Not sure, could actually be coming from the intake. High flow intakes can actually make sounds but most of the time you won't notice them when you on the bike and moving.
It's the balancer drive. It runs at 2x engine speed and causes that whine noise you hear. It gets masked at high speeds though

Rineharts are ordered.Mainly due to looks.All these slip ons are gonna sound more or less the same.

@@MrMurphc13 Oh man.. this is exactly what I was worried about. I love the stock look, but I have read reviews where the slip-ons are still too low. How are you liking the big shots, and did you add a quiet baffle?
@xzivizx I love the big shots.The look,the sound.Apparently they're not the best performing pipes but I've no issue with them.I use the standard baffles.
Dear JP, i have FB 2018 with V&H slip ons....but i want louder noise....so which is best muffler to choose for loudest?
If you are looking for louder you will probably need to look into a full system rather than mufflers.
How can i get rid of that anoying air filter sound?

Ended up with the vance and hines because they were the shortest set. Itll do for a while, but ill do a 2-1 eventually. These bikes are too quiet.

Total newbie here but vance and hines’ website says their high output slip ons are illegal for purchase and use in California. Thought they were 50 state legal?
If you’re not a Lib I would recommend getting out of that shitty state California then you don’t have to worry about it!!

Why do people always pick on the Elephant in the room?
Most of those slip ons look like a black painted fire extinguishers.
The OEM air cleaners on the Street Bob or the Softail Standard are huge, too - like the cod piece on some medieval outfit. Super wide tires - those too - can look silly. Like the Cadillac emblem on some of the SUV’s, looks stupid.
