Hey man, can u help me with information? Those VH have some kind of baffle in it? The other question is: is it possible to change the inside pipes from the exaust removing the catalyst and keeping the original heat shields? Kind of a strait pipe with the original heat shield and that VH Hi-output, what you think about this possible exaust?
Hello Mate, I got same V&H slip ons on my fat bob 2020, I would like to do stage 2 with torque cam on my bike but my dealer in australia said I should get new pipes rather than slip ons if I wanna go for Stage 2. My question is that worth it changing the cam while keeping v&h slip ons. I am after better 0-60 and louder sound. Does changing the cam ,make my slip on louder ? Thanks
If you are looking for louder you're wasting your money on a cam, just get some open header pipes. If you are looking performance a cam is a great option but you really need a full exhaust system, intake and tuner to get the performance out of it. Kind of a waste to do the cam and not the exhaust, intake and tune.
@@jpcycles I really like the looks of V&H slip ons , so you recommend that I wont get enough power if i do cam and tuner with my current exhaust? Is there any way I can keep these slip ons and also get some more power? Thanks
Hi, I have installed the muffler but there is an air leakage and I felt some missing when I accelerate. Does this muffler requires gasket as it is in the stock muffler
Just put these bad boys in, haven’t cranked it yet.. but could you make removing the stock mufflers look any easier? All I can say is, it took longer to get those damn things off than it did for them to arrive.. 😤
@@TaoT3 I ended up getting a plastic mallet and just banged the shit out of it, while pulling with the other hand. I hope you ended up getting them off, they are truly worth.
Hi, i have screemin eagle street cannon's on my Fatbob 107 will there be a huge sound difference between these V&H and mine SE should i choose to upgrade ?
Bikes are lean from the factory in stock form, even a stock bike can benefit from a tuner. Will it run without a tuner, yes. Will it run better and cooler with a tuner, yes.
J&P Cycles awesome thanks for the response. I just wanted to make sure that if I did slip ons I wouldn’t NEED a tune as that is what I took away from the video.
@@gauravtanwar5802 The sounds is really personal preference. Since cat is still in place in the header neither are too obnoxiously loud during long rides.
Do I need to tune my street rod 750 after installing same Vance and hines, as it has popping sound . Also plz recommend on installation of screaming eagle heavy breather. Thanks

Just ordered these for my Fat Bob, can’t wait for them to get here.
Update?
is it necessary to change the muffer clamps? Could you place the ones that bring the original muffer?
yes, you could use the originals
Do we need to add fuel pack , new spark plugs and breather for these V&H slipon mufflers? Or just plug and play of the muffler is enough?
Can you reuse the stock black heat shield extensions with these slipons? Seems like I've seen it somewhere.
Hey, are there exhausts for this model with flap adjustment, preferably electronic?

It shouldn't need gaskets. Check your clamps to make sure they are snug.

Does the anniversary ones sound different then the regular ones ??
Ok I'm Sold!
Does anybody have these in stock? I can't find it in stock anywhere. Let me know, please.
Hello! Nice video. Do you know if it is possible to remove the baffle from this piece? Tks
Don't do that. It ruins the muffler.

@@jgmancuso No, ruins the performance of the muffler, V&H engineers them to work a specific way

A tuner isn’t needed when using slip on’s.
