This song on it's own is a freakin' classic, but the video makes it so much more enjoyable and nostalgic. I tell ya, 90's music videos were on a different level of awesome!
Lot of early 2000's music videos were fun and goofy. Lit's video here, Sum41 "In Too Deep", Blink 182 "What's My Age Again" (plus several others), Dynamite Hack "Boys in the Hood", Alient Ant Farm "Movies", Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice" (just christopher walkin dancing in an empty floor) are a few I can think of

I’m very thankful and lucky I can listen to this song and laugh about that time in my life.
Mainstream music has gone to complete shit but in this day and age there is way more good, intricate music out there. The music like this that is defended from past decades and considered the best music ever is very often just basic rock music. Not music that is musically profound or anything and that bothers the shit out of me.
Chamblabla Good music is just that. It is music that an individual listens to. Simple, people don't have to follow, they just have to LIKE something. As you grow, so does your taste in music. And it will be in 2018 as well as every year after that! 🤘😌
This song on it's own is a freakin' classic, but the video makes it so much more enjoyable and nostalgic. I tell ya, 90's music videos were on a different level of awesome!
Lot of early 2000's music videos were fun and goofy. Lit's video here, Sum41 "In Too Deep", Blink 182 "What's My Age Again" (plus several others), Dynamite Hack "Boys in the Hood", Alient Ant Farm "Movies", Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice" (just christopher walkin dancing in an empty floor) are a few I can think of
Why do Summer songs like this one make me so sad ? It feels like I've been falling down a hole like Alice, only I'm falling through the decades of my past . And I'm trying to find something I can cling to, some nugget that will bring back the happiness and youth I once had .
I'm not a 90s kid since I'm born in 2001. I'm currently 19 and I found this gem by accident, and I can't help but feel so nostalgic. I love this so much
Dude, we're not like the Boomers. Please come enjoy this shit with us. I think every Millennial knows now that those few years between 97 and 2001 weren't just special for us. They were something we might never see again. If we can kind of do something to at least bring the spirit back so you guys can have it too, that'd be pretty rad.
@@F6LabsVideo Oh trust me, I'm enjoying this music so much!! I showed it to my friends and they liked it too, we wished to find this type of music and band sooner😭 It's so underrated
i was born 2003 and this song will never not be good. glad to be able to share it with everyone.
@@maddee4543 I was in high school when this came out. Fun but stressful times.
im the same age XD happy birthday if so btw and yea i found the hidden gem and its so good i know it from being little with a lotr of the music i listen to
Ah...The Late 90s when Pop-Punk was at its peak...A magical fucking place.

Easily like one of the best top 100 best punk rock/ rock songs of all time, great headbanging song to listen to
I miss the late 90’s and early 00’s. Brings so much memories back.
The 90s were the best. Had shit loads of fun. Now I'm old and worn out.
I'm 41 now, but my teens yrs & young adult yrs..were lit af. We had great music in every genre & listened to it all.
this song has nothing to do with this video and yet it just matches sooo good. Just an absolutley Perfect music Video
I love it. It reminds me of The Big Lebowski
lmao
+ARMOROLSOUL SHUT UP DONNIE.
ARMOROLSOUL NOBODY fucks with The JESUS!!
Timeless Skeptic NOBODY fucks with The JESUS! :P
One of the best, most nostalgic songs of the 90’s! Take me the fck back.
Heard it the first time at the MTV coverage of the 1999 X-Games when Tony Hawk landed his 900 for the very first time. Stuck in my brain until this day. Oh what a time to be alive it was
Omg I miss those times soooo bad
Heard it for the first time in American Pie my senior year of HS…1999
Lol I remember that, I'm gettin old...
If ever I skated along a street with a boom box like Chad Muska, this is the song
My friend got divorced because of Tony Hawk's '900...his new wife at the time decided she wanted to talk to him EXACTLY WHEN THAT HAPPENED...and turned off the TV...He was mad...we were young and in the Navy...they were married for all of 3 months maybe, lol!
Heard this song in tons of movies in the early 2000s never knew the name. 2021 thanks youtube lol
Dude, I know it’s easy to live under a rock but holy fuck. I’m genuinely surprised you didn’t know the name of this masterpiece
@@Lilchuckle2 Im not from the US lol
Hahaha welcome I come back every few months to leave a comment and miss exs and the early 2000s ....
Same here yay lol
@@koktravelchannel194 way too relatable 😂😂
Whoever came up with the band name "Lit" is a genius
CaptainWhirlwind Agreed. Names lit af.
20 years from the future, he knew what he was doing.. #longtermgoals.
THUMBS UP IF ROCKBAND 2 BROUGHT U HERE!!! ^___^
They were lit before it was cool.
u realize when they named the band, lit didn't mean "oh this is a fun party, its so lit!" no, it meant "hey I just bought some drugs, lets get lit!"
This song is so American Pie! MTV's TRL. I'm so lucky to have grown up in the 80-90s. Simple times.
This song never gets old 🤘
Still playing it in 2018!
Sonny I'm in agreement with you
BRO
I STILL HEAR THIS ON THE RADIO AND WHEN IT COMES ON, I BLARE IT
ITS MAH JAM
Sherry Elliott Never gets old!!!
Too bad we do!
If you're primarily going to be known for one song, this is a pretty damn good one to be known for.
I would agree . My band is actually performing this song tonight so if you are in Las Vegas nv come to jackpot bar n grill tonight 9p March 19,2021
Amen
Miss playing drums while my great friend and bandmate jammed the guitar while singing this great song. Rip Aaron I miss you so damn much.
R.I.P Aaron 🙏🏻, as a fellow musician, I immediately related to this, so sorry for your loss man, just be grateful you had the opportunity to play music together, it's such an amazing gift, keep rocking 🤘🏻
❤
I learned it on guitar. Too bad the bands I play never show up when I'm playing their music.
@@SXI96 thank you very much. Awesome guitar player but a hell of a friend. Top tier memories that I'll never forget. Music is the best!
DW bro is ripping on the greatest drum set in the sky, just make sure you're living your best so you have a few stories to share when you meet again
Probably one of the best songs ever
my father sang this song during karaoke on new years. this song will always have a huge meaning to me just because of that.
I saw these guys when they were opening for Korn. Dude jumped off the stage and kicked me right in the face. No regrets.
Holy crap that's amazing lol
🤣Fun times.
I wish I was you adt that moment in time
lololol!!!!!!!!!!!
You have that kind of face I guess.
🙂
I WILL NEVER GET SICK OF THIS SONG!!! 1000/10 ALWAYS A BANGER, ALWAYS LIT!
need this type of music back
It’s too high vibrational. They don’t want this kind of music to be popular.
90s… fuck wish I could go back.
Yes.....I wish I could go back to 1990s
You and me both broski😂
Im 16 years old and I love this song, but never would have thought in a million years the music video was bowling....
Zandrew Gaming that’s the early 2000’s kid what a crazy ride it was
15 here and this song makes me wanna cry, so much nostalgia
check out Five - When the lights go out.
A good music video to this song could be just to show a best of stifler 🤣
@@bobweird1352 I agree, his comment is really dumb, but your comment would look way better if you used the right your. Grammar is important you should go watch word crimes by Weird Al

AS A DRUNKEN SOLDIER FROM THE 90'S THIS SONG DEFINATELY ROCKS
hell yeah brother
Ughh why couldn't this music come out today?? Regardless, music from the 1990's/early 2000's is Fucking amazing!
Its still with us. DAMNIT WE NEED TO BELIEVE ITS 2005 AGAIN!
+Austin Logic more like 1995
+ConfederateTexan there is a band that still makes music like this. They're called Seaway and they're amazing
ed1rko17 I'll look them up!
My mom got me into this music and I'm glad she did.
if your mom got you into green day then she's gay
This song is a double whammy for me. First it reminds me of being in high school in the 00s, but it’s also the anthem for all of my romantic relationships and my life in general between getting out of the Marine Corps and meeting my wife.
I’m very thankful and lucky I can listen to this song and laugh about that time in my life.
This song still hits so hard after all these years and it always hits the spot on my self-loathing days!
Literally what brought me here right now lol spot on.
I don't care how old this video looks, this shit still fits in society no matter what year we're in.
So nostalgic from this golden era
Missing tunes like this and the Offspring....fun shit...jam
OMG ... Memories ....
Belinda Esch oh hell yeah
Susan Simpson offspring are THE shit
I remember playing this on rock band 2
Same here. I play it on RB4 every now and then too thanks to the RB2 import. ;)

BJ Price actually not the case what so ever I was just really annoyed because I forgot to capitalize my "I" in the beginning of my sentence
back when music was solid.
(sigh)......takes me back! :)
There's still solid music out there, just not as much, and it's not as easy to find as it once was. Sad times.
This makes me so happy to listen to! I'm an 80's baby!!!!! YEAH!
Mainstream music has gone to complete shit but in this day and age there is way more good, intricate music out there. The music like this that is defended from past decades and considered the best music ever is very often just basic rock music. Not music that is musically profound or anything and that bothers the shit out of me.
Chamblabla
Good music is just that. It is music that an individual listens to. Simple, people don't have to follow, they just have to LIKE something. As you grow, so does your taste in music. I was 8 when I told my brother Queen were shit. 35 years on I think they are possibly the greatest band to have ever played !!!
Psalm 91:4 “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
Austin 3:16 “I just whopped your ass!”

i tried to get into my myspace like a year ago just to see my playlist and my "top friends" list lmao. i was unsuccessful and now ive so many unanswered questions hahaha
I have a permanent smile every time I watch this. Love these guys ❤
Wow, The 1990's was Lit, you had PlayStation, N64, Songs like this, good movie's, and experience!
hell YEA man
Dylan Baker early 2000s was good too
1997-2004 were some incredible years in music
N64 yes but ps1 was super shitty. What i don't understand is why technology like video games couldn't reach present day generation's of Xbox and PlayStation? Could have just skipped ahead lol. it's not like a meteor hit earth and presented us with materials that were not unavailable, you feel me? if we got the ingredients then stop fucking around and stop waiting for the next era of humanity to take shit to that next level. i mean HOLY FUCK!!! HOW THE FUCK have we yet to tackle what our entire fucking species has accepted for who knows how many millennia? like SERIOUSLY? can a brother get a backup driver for his self conscious/state of self awareness? think about it lol. we're no better than the cromagnons and other human species that our ancestors systematically erased from existence lol cuz we ALL are in possession of a one way ticket to that's sending us right back where we came from. What is life without having be able to tell it? acceptance of death without going down fighting is completely voids each and everyone of our lives of any and all meaning.
This is the best part though - i wish i could kill myself lol!!!! Fuck this shit dawg
Edward Scissorhands don't post while high lol.

The Bowling Alley attendant is Eddy Day. Eddie plays awesome covers at a dive called The Fling in Santa Ana. He for sure worth checking out.
Anyone else still getting too hammered and living this song the next morning at 37 or is it just me 💀 punk rock princess forever 🤘🏼😂
I'm 74 and yes!! I was turned onto this listening to Clay and Buck on am radio (its their Entry Bumper Music) to their show 12 noon- 2 pm everyone here has slept in their close and woke up saying I said what....? OOOHH thats gonna leave a scar !
Yep, the worst is trying to Guess which part of the county you're in based on the trees and vegetation.
I’m 50 now so I don’t drink a lot but this song was my anthem in the 90’s. I used to get so hammered in college and this song was like my life, lol.
Damn you’re cute 🖤
Im a motelbedstain
This song literally got me out of Depression.
I was in Depression for a year a few years ago. I stopped doing everything I loved, even music. Then I discovered this song, and whenever I felt like listening to music, I only used to listen to this song, on repeat.
Thanks for the good times, Lit 🔥❤️
“In depression” ...bruh moment
Thats real great to hear dude 😁
I love drums on this song! Not overly complicated but just perfect for the song. A lot of drummers should take notes
I'm 49 and just listened to this song for the first time. WOW its awesome. Straight on the play list.
I'm so happy that this music lives on! But listen friend, there is SO MUCH more like this song! Explore the 90s and 2000s rock! You won't regret it.
Damn, I miss the 90's rock bands...wth happened?
I don't know but I wish I grew up in the 90's to listen to this music. I know my dad introduced me to this music when I was 9 back in 2010. I am 14 and I still listen to this music. My favorite band is Journey even though they were in the 80's.
Rock sold out, corporations took over, other genres took over.
lol rock sold out? You don't think Lit was a corporate band at the time? Rock just fell out of fashion and hip hop + pop took over and then eventually EDM.
Honestly EDM has potential be a lot better
Justin Ranger Considering how mainstream music work nowadays, the most interesting music will always be in the underground.
My two year old wants this video on repeat and it's such a vibe
Spring of 1999, I had just transferred to UCLA. I joined a fraternity and we were listening to this at Newport Beach. Those were the best days of my life ( even though they didn’t seem like it at the time), and I’d give anything to go back….
28 when this came out, and honestly, life was perfect. 😊
This is the most 90s rock song I've ever heard.
Nope semi charmed life. Battle on?

This is my mom’s anthem cause all the things that happened in the song actually happened to her when she was younger.
If this song ain't played at my funeral, I am not showing up..
*DEAL.*
Word
My husband just passed away and while we can't have a memorial right now because of Covid, this will definitely be on the play list when we can have one. As an alcoholic in recovery, this song really resonated with him. The first time I heard it, I said, "Oh, shit, babe...it's you when you were drinking!"
Oof
I didn’t see the comment above mine I’m sorry for your loss
I remember hearing this song on the radio on the way to my first day of middle school. Nervous as hell and ready for the day to be over. Feels like yesterday.
52 years old now and this song was my personal theme song for a very long time. lol. Sober now, thank God, and even still to this day, I am my own worst enemy.
