I Look at it like two great actors immortalised in one of the best acted and written shows to ever be aired. Glad they both were alive, at the same place, at the same time to give us this show
Most deppressing scene in the history of television. A place where all the charectars laughed and joked throughout the series and now only Paulie sitting there alone.
Well Silivio could have still survived, and you can't overlook some of the up and comers in the Barese and Curto crews. I still think the family would be strong enough to live on, especially with how weak the NY family was after all the wars and power struggles.
@chuckbuskeePaulie actually makes a comment about cats being a superstition related to snakes in italy, the last scene is a pan out shot of paulie and the cat sitting together. It was david chase’s way of saying ‘Paulie is the snake (rat)’ symbolising that Paulie allowed the hit and probably gave away Tony’s location for the hit on him in the diner.
This work of art, The Sopranos, would never be the same without him, the best supporting character in tv series ever Tony Sirico aka Paulie Walnuts (July 29, 1942 - July 8, 2022) rest in peace man and thank you for everything 😪
@Andrew Sullivan Well,he almost started world war 3 cause he got jealous and petty. Ratting out ralph was a real bitch move. Relax,no need to identify with Paulie Although Sirico passed away,RIP.
Gotta feel for Paulie in this scene. As soon as Tony gets what he wants he gets up and leaves. Sums up their relationship, Paulie was always just an earner for Tony, never a friend like Silvio or Chris.
Paulie raised Tony took him on his first hit. Tony new Paulie Told Jhonny Sacks about the Joke and thought about killing him, but couldn't. Paulie been plotting on Tony downfall, and if Tony did die in the end (like how I believe ) Paulie probably sent the hit
Man, this scene is heartbreaking. After watching 6 seasons of Tony's crew chilling outside Satriale's and seeing most of them die off one by one save for Paulie, it's really sad.
Yes, showing how lonely and empty Satriales is when it was always teeming with people earlier in the show is very effective in showing the collapse of their family.
This scene is a masterpiece. Pauly all alone except for a cat which Pauly hates. Nobody around to break balls or tell you a couple of tree tings. Everybody else is dead.
I think it's a couple OR three things. But yeah. It's especially depressing when you remember how everyone used to gather there, talking about columbus, or yelling at young Carmine for his speeding. Anyways, 4 dollars a pound.
Something I love about the last couple episodes is the emptiness of every scene. And it's especially apparent in this scene. At the start, when Paulie was using that sun tan mirror, he was surrounded by other people. Now, the chairs are empty, the weather is bleak, the scenes are quiet, the characters are old, the trees are bare, the traffic is low etc etc etc
Adam Young it’s true. I never knew how to put it into words but you’re pretty spot on. The world overall towards the very end seems like a depressing alternate reality of itself. It did a good job keeping you hanging on to every word though. I think this was David chases intention to make the viewer listen because there was a lot of subliminal messages in the last few episodes.
There’s also this one scene in season 6 where tony drives by Satriales and there’s a ton of Muslims walking around and congregating near a mosque. Tony doesn’t say a word but his prolonged stare says it all. That was a subtle hint that there was a changing of the guard analogous to Butch ending up in Chinatown.
You can feel the emptiness of the last days of the Jersey DiMeo/Soprano family. Everyone was gone and the vacuum left in the abscence of all their personalities is powerful. Brilliant production and writing to not fill the holes left by the iconic roles going away. I always find something new to appreciate every time I see these scenes over again.

That is because Paulie's and patchy prob approve of the hit on Tony. Patchy prob want vengeance for his dead twin brother. Paulie's has always undermine Tony with New York. The last season really did portray the reality of what the Wiseguy life is. You have to take into account that Tony, killed half of his own guys that used to sit in the same spot, he even considered Paulie himself at one point. The accent and tones of season 6 showed you the real harsh endings that the mob guys meet. Although Tony was a beloved person in the show, he was really was evil, and as the show progressed it just became so much more apparent.
I don't think he started the show that way..I feel he was very conflicted with the lifestyle in early season (panic attacks, seeing shrink eyc), but the lifestyle wore him down..self preservation is a natural human instinct. He did what he had to do...but in doing so became a not so good person.
@@johnpierce4778 After Pussy sold him out, he went through a period of grief before he became paranoid to the point he stopped empathizing with anyone and became a monster.
Think it scared him too, Christopher talking about going to hell then the supernatural guy talking about the people he’s killed then the cat. Seemed like all that weighed on him
You gotta feel bad for Paulie. He always thought of himself as a soldier, and he's the only one left not to die in "combat." All of his old friends are dead now, and he never had a family. Nobody left to give him respect or to laugh at his jokes, or to reminisce about old times. Now he's just a superstitious old wiseguy sitting in the ruins of a decaying mausoleum to what once was.
Its so sad that the actors that played Butchie and Phil have passed. All the guys who play the best mobsters are passing away, and its sad that they didn't make more mob movies with them. Butch played an amazing JOhn Torrio in Boardwalk EMpire, and Phil was just a mafia killing machine!
For sure, the actor that played Butchie even said that he so easily immersed himself into the 1920's, cuz his dad was a LongShore man in Jersey, so yeah, many of these guys had family in the life and they knew exactly how to act. It came natural to them. RIght, just sad. This is the end of an era truly!
Never realized how haunted this scene truly was. This show was utter genius. The best part? It never glorified what these guys done. Crime truly never pays in the long run and not a single person in the Soprano crew came out on top. For all his loyalty; Sil is in a coma he will never get out of. Tony is on his way to get whacked at Holsten’s with just Paulie left to be haunted by the ghosts of all those dead around him...
Someone already said it here, but at 2:20 a car drives by with nobody in it, except an outline of Chris. This show is fucking brilliant and the fact that this last season is so empty is so scary yet so real.
CF G Agreed, a show like the Sopranos only happens when the stars are aligned perfectly and that doesn't happen very much at all for anything, much less a tv show.
To me, the scene shows Paulie knowing he and Tony have had a good run but will end soon for the both of them, no matter what either of them do. All roads lead to a dead end at this point, and the cat knows they are both marked men.
“I live BUT to serve you, my liege”. Paulie slipped out. It’s one thing agreeing. It’s another thing doing. Paulie said what he had to say so Tony would fuck off. It worked. Tony fucked off
@@anonymous3174 honestly with an episode called members only , One needs to make the connection that the killer was wearing a members only jacket. Either way NY and Furio were happy it happened, if not Genes wife. All speculation my friend.
"In the end, you die in your own arms." Seeing Paulie sitting there alone, with everyone he ever cared for gone is one of the saddest scenes I watched in the series. I also love that the cat joins him (Christopher?)
Well at least with all the major players dead (including Tony presumably) he's the only one left to become Boss. In the end it seems to me like he wins.
really sad how Paulie is there sun bathing all by himself but six years before the whole crew was there talking about colombus day together it's tragic how almost all there friends have been wipe out over the years
+Brian Morales What about the episode where there's a fender bender and everyone runs outside, Agent Harris shows up and talks to Tony, Paulie whips out the tanning reflector? Talk about happier days.
The saddest thing to me is that Paulie was older than any of them too. He was only a little younger than Tony's father. He's seen several generations come and go.
Almost every character on the sopranos represents a moment of a person's life. Junior it's the old guy coming in terms with his mortality, his total lost of clarity, it's us coming to a inevitable end. Paulie it's the guy becoming old, not having family or kids, it's a person dealing with his own age. Tony it's the middle of the road, the mid life crisis. Chris it's the young adult wanting the recognition and approval but becoming disappointed with that life. Aj and Meadow it's the youth, the complexity of following a legacy or not, choosing our own path, trying to grow up. Edit: This is just a perception of mine, that keeps coming back every time I watch the show. It's totally fine if you love the sopranos just for his mob stuff and comedy, I love too. I just have this simple observation while seeing this characters.
I dont care for the final episodes of this series. They are good, but they are depressing. It's like going back to your old high school and remembering the faces you used to see everyday. Now its nothing but a bunch of people you dont know and dont want to know. Things have changed, people have moved on, some have left this Earth and it will never be the same again.
that's what makes life so beautiful, happiness and sadness are relative just like back and front, one can't exist without the other. that's why cherishing memories and every moment is crucial coz any second can be your last
This scene captures the hopeless emptiness of these sad washed up gangster’s lot. Excellent writing, directing, camera work and above all just great ducking acting by these two.
Paulie showed some real sad wisdom in this scene. He recognized that this 'life' is nothing more than a long road to nowhere and that he's very lucky to have achieved old age.
A perfect allegory of life for some. I once helped a removal firm clear the house of a guy who had no family or friends and didn't leave a will. Yet, there was a cabinet full of slides with large groups, all happy together. He must have been the last one left.
The cinematography throughout the show culminates here for me. In the beginning, everything was so bright and full of promise. The guys hanging out on a sunny day, talking and laughing. The garbage business was still making money, Christopher was the future of the family. Now, Paulie is the last man standing, still with his suntan board thing. It leaves a feeling of cold and emptiness, like other guy said.
I'm from Leeds England, there will never be a series that I will ever take into my heart than the Sopranos, At the end of each series, just waiting for the next to start was horrendous, Watching my kids growing up like Tony's kids, miss those days so much
ending of an era. silvio, pussy, bobby, ralphie, chris, vito, furio all gone. those two are left as you can see, starting to believe ghosts, tired of it, alone, scared shitless from fbi and death... the sopranos ending episodes also was an ending of an era..
@@nagger8216 , Wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened. The cat knows, but he has the makings of a varsity cat; They keep their mouth shut, and just stare......
David Chase said "It's all there". The Sopranos , on so many levels, asks us to look at life and death and our own frailties. An astonishing body of television brilliance. Anything that makes you think for yourself must be applauded. I could weep knowing that James Gandolfini is no longer with us. The irony is truly tragic. The ending reminds us all that the blank screen round the corner awaits us all.
I remember when I first saw this scene and I couldn't help but feel sad, the big guys of the crew all used to chill there outside the pork shop and in this final scene in that location just Tony and Paulie were there with most of the others dead. Quite saddening, but that's the gangster life isn't it? Fast, dangerous and short.
"I tell you something from the bottom of my heart and you laugh it off?" Flashbacks to Chris talking about his daughter and Paulie joking that she must be adopted.
The fact he ended his character by just sitting there and continuing to sun bath tells you that in the end, Paulie was never compromised by the lifestyle. It was all normalcy to him, and this ending suggests that he is probably the only person who continued to live their life 1. Alive and 2. Carefree. Unlike everyone else in the crew
@@hsap2223 it’s just a theory. It’s suspicious that Paulie is the only one who survived, he was at odds w the rest of the crew over the NY war, and also was bitter because he couldn’t earn. Plus Tony has the dream that he had to kill Paulie because he betrayed him
Chase is a genius! This scene and the way he shot it is brilliant! Cold..empty...you know the show is ending. And superstitious or not, I think Paulie has a point. Every1 who ran that crew died...
Tony Sirico really was an incredible actor. Watching the first season, many of the actors needed to find their footing. Tony/Paulie was incredible from his first to last scene. Rest In Peace.
And the cat walks up at the end... brilliant. The way these guys talk really reminds me of my father and italian relatives back in the day in New Jersey. I think that is why I watch these clips occassionally. It hits a cord somewhere.
It's funny you say that. I do the same thing and I'm not even Italian. My father is French Canadian and I used to spend a lot of time in Montreal, especially in an area that had a lot of Italian families around where my grandma lived. There's something about the aesthetic and the manerisms that remind me of that time and place for me too. The clothes, the cars, the catholic undercurrent. All of that.
Paulie was the man who survived, where others had fallen he knew when to back out, or when to never give in. He was quite literally a one man army, a soldier, just like his real father. He was seen as selfish, but then again he only had himself to rely on when it really got ugly. Out of all the wise guys in the series, I think it was paulie who was the toughest.
That's the reality of that life. If your lucky enough to make it that far, you are left to rot and die alone. Paulie Wallnuts and Frank Sheeran being prime examples. Money, Power, Sex. Loyalty to the evil. These guys held these things higher than anything else, when the things that really mattered (Family, Love, moral fulfilment) flew right over their heads the whole time.
@@Alan_PageYet if you are a normal person who didnt commit any crimes, or at least the really bad ones, you can somewhat be at peace knowing that you were a good person.
I read this below, makes sense. "the cat was a metaphor for Adriana. She always wore cheetah or leopard prints on her clothes and she died crawling away on all fours."
Lots of creepy things in this scene... the whole premise is about death, Satriale's is also in darkness behind them(the pig sign behind them has been lit up in every other scene), watch the butcher that enters at 0:01 he fades into the black. The empty chairs with the empty coffee cups, the cat that come and stares at Pauly and the empty chairs (ghosts?), the car with no one in it? (this is however not a maserati, so not for sure Chris). The wind is creepy throughout the whole episode and this scene. Watch Tony at 2:37 he senses a presence to the side of him (similar to the look when Pussy was in the mirror) and then as soon as he leaves the cat comes right behind whatever that presence was Tony felt.
The part where he kills Minn is so cold-blooded, it forever dispels the myth that these kinds of people are anything but dark psychopaths, yet we can't stop watching it!
You're delusional. These people are fucking sociopathic killers. Most "soldiers" barely ever earned the equivalence to 30K a year. They were/are in the life because it's what they like to do. They'd rather expend ten times the energy and resources in stealing something rather than paying for it because that's what gives them their satisfaction. This coming from someone that has these lousy fucks in his family. They do it because they LIKE it!
I agree ...30 k ....I would say 45 k ..but I agree they will take apart a parking meter for 8hrs and grab 7 dollars in change then work a decent job for 14 hr ...haha
Paulie is the vilest character of any series. Vain, selfish, shallow, cowardly, spiteful, bitter and weak but he’s also the most fabulous character ever portrayed. Not a single admirable characteristic and all mankind’s frailties in a single body but my all time favourite character and brilliantly portrayed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So true. I despise that character. I don't know if that was their intention but I hated him. Such a selfish pos. Phony ass kiss. All tony had to do was mention money and he stfu. Lol
Ryan G it didn’t, if you look closely it’s clear that it was added digitally. Its damn near impossible to train a cat to do that, especially out on the street. They’re stubborn creatures
Not true, I relooked at the scene, cat had a Siamese mask and was a mixed (Siamese/Calico) cat. If you ever had cats and dogs like I have..Siamese act like dogs, with some cat thrown in. Very trainable, with some patience. Others here will attest.
These comments are really putting into perspective how deep this scene was. The biggest thing is how they’re the only ones left there in a place where they all used to meet. Christopher’s gone, Silvio’s in a coma, junior is in a mental hospital, his underlings are all wacked, Richie sat there once now he’s gone, Vito is gone, gene is gone, Bobby is gone although I don’t remember him sitting there, I think carmine and Johnny sacks sat there once and they’re all gone now. It’s crazy how only Paulie and tony are there now and even then tony might’ve gotten wacked in the end and paulie has the cat looking at him along with inheriting the crew that only dead people get and also tony sometimes considers whacking him. Nobody survives I think that’s the true message of this
After watching the ending to The Irishman, it really reminded me of this scene. After every horrible shit these people did in their miserable lives, they've got nothing to show for it in the end, it's so cold, hollow, empty, and just pointless in the end.
I always hoped for a spin off starring Paulie. It would be called "Paulie Walnuts." Each episode begins with Paulie either playing cards, watching a football game, sitting at a bar, etc. He is just telling stories from the old days to the young bucks. The entire series is in flashback. Then we get to see his rise up through the ranks as he gets into different adventures along the way. We will see a young Junior Soprano, Tony's dad, Feech, Richie, and the other Mustache Petes. Even a young Tony and Big Pussy as teenagers could make the occasional appearance. Even tie in historical events as a time frame reference.
Korynne Lyles no way did he ever consider whacking Tony.... that’s an impossibility. Paulie was worried about himself. He was constantly fearing death on the show.
Man. If there is one thing I really enjoyed about Sopranos, it's the fact that other people who watched it went as deep as I did with the Symbolism, metaphors and grandeur that came with each scene. The attention to detail is stunning.
I loved all the references to real mob happenings. especially when Junior would bring them up from back in the day. Wikipedia has an entire listing of all the real life mob references. its fascinating. like the episode where someone knocks on Juniors door. Bobby says, "I wonder who that could be?" Junior says, "Judge Crater, how the fuck should I know??" Judge crater was known for ruling against the mafia and disappeared back in the 40's. I don't think its ever been solved. I thought it was brilliant how Junior brings it up in the context that maybe it was the mafia who caused his disappearance.
Most series have mentor hints and subtleties hidden with in. But true fans that don't just watch it once, recognised the messages or hear of them thru rumour and do their homework. Which leads us to mind blown apifinies...
Damn, Paulie is the only one left. Crazy. It’s like looking back at early episodes of TWD, most of them are dead. When the sopranos ended it was a totally different show then when it started. So many great characters died. Great series.
This is so fucking melancholy, yet beautifully written. Everyone of the original cast is dead, slowly dying, changed forever, or destroyed somehow. Silvio is a vegetable for the rest of his existence, Janice has turned into Livia, Melfi realized tony can't change, Johnny Sack spent his last few weeks in agony, and Paulie just took the job that has killed everyone in it before. Tony, if he survived, is right fucking back where he started in the series, blaming his mother for his life, refusing to take responsibility, and frankly is a blatant monster. Poor you.
+Albert Wesker - LIKWID - Janice was always Livia. Even before she first appears, when Tony hears she gonna come to Jersey, he says something like "I'm gonna be lighter by $5000 before she goes back". Selfish, angry, narcistic. But yeah, great writing, directing and acting. And "it's over for the little guy".
It's also a sad scene because the NJ-NY war wiped out many of Tony's top guys. Remember in previous seasons where it was Tony and a dozen other guys chilling in front of Satriales? Now, everybody is dead or injured or fled or behind bars.... only Paulie and Tony left.
Patsy was left, his son was also engaged to Meadow at the end..In real life the guy who plays Patsy is a University professor or teacher or something like that (go figure)
Still had lower Ranking guys around like Pauly Jr and Benny, and there was patsy and that guy in bobby's crew. But yeah pretty much everyone is dead or in jail.
Thing is a lot of creepy stuff happened to or around Paulie, not just 1) the cat, but 2) that psychic who reeled off hits from way back and a few we'd seen on screen, 3) that '3 o'clock' weirdness, 4) that Russian who he hits with a clear headshot in the but somehow gets up and THEN disappears, no blood/footprints on the snow...
I always thought the bullet just barely hit the side of his head, not entering the skull. We see him get up and continue running. And then we see Chris and Paulie from above where the trail ended, from the russian's perspective, as in he climbed up a tree and chris and paulie never even looked up. Paulies car has been stolen while they were in the woods. -The russian took it and disappeared from the entire scene and is alive and well somewhere drinking vodka. He was after all specially trained soldier, Speznaz or how's it spelled. Survival expert of some sorts.
tarsitrs Those trees looked very thin and brittle, plus there weren't' many seconds between the bullet strafing his head, and the duo reaching the spot where the blood ended. I find it unlikely any healthy human, let alone an overweight male over 6ft tall, shot 20 seconds ago, could have shimmied up that tree so quickly, unnoticed, or without it breaking/bending with his weight. Plus Paulie referred to him as "Fucking Rasputin", all of which lent a further air of mysticism about his disappearance.
But still.. I watched that scene again and I still believe it went like I said. But of course it is for everyone to make their own conclusions when a show doesn't reveal something.
The cat symbolized Adrianna, which is why it was obsessed with pictures of Christopher. Adrianna was seen wearing a memorable tiger-striped jacket, as I recall.
Every time I rewatch clips I notice new things and I'm reminded how well done it all was. This show was groundbreaking and to this day is still probably the best show to ever air.
This scene accurately reflects what it's like to work in a corporate setting. The most comfortable you'll ever become with your coworkers is sliding little quirks into your conversation. Like with Paulie's "I live to serve you, my liege." And his many other jokes and "heh-hehs." But none of it is genuine. These guys don't enjoy each others' company. Tony doesn't appreciate Paulie accepting his offer. He doesn't even see Paulie as a friend. At the end, if you've sired no children or have no one in your life outside of work - you are left alone. And your choices in life boil down to accepting that loneliness or staying with your job. In this case, Paulie takes the promotion.
This scene always gave me last day of school feelings. Seeing a normally bright and populated place empty, with everyone gone but yourself.

JEsus, look at how the scene starts compared to season 1 episode 1. Everyone's gone. Reminds me of The Irishman. Sad to see.
That's the reality of that life. If your lucky enough to make it that far, you are left to rot and die alone. Paulie Wallnuts and Frank Sheeran being prime examples. Money, Power, Sex.
I agree ...30 k ....I would say 45 k ..but I agree they will take apart a parking meter for 8hrs and grab 7 dollars in change then work a decent job for 14 hr ...haha
lol look whos talking as if its fucking real lmfao ur the delusional one we all know its fake moron
and the only one who was a real mob guy. he may actually have killed people.
Any Sopranos fan that has no room for Paulie in their heart is a heartless prick. Mental midgets!
He could be empathetic though. His treatment of his mother, and even the way he looks after Sal Vitro and defends him when nobody else could.
watch it chrissy
@@joshradcliffe8563 And he expresses clear discomfort at the kid getting beat up in Naples.
So true. I despise that character. I don't know if that was their intention but I hated him. Such a selfish pos. Phony ass kiss. All tony had to do was mention money and he stfu. Lol
I’m more impressed at that cat laying down on cue.
Ryan G it didn’t, if you look closely it’s clear that it was added digitally. Its damn near impossible to train a cat to do that, especially out on the street. They’re stubborn creatures
It’s a CGI pussy
Not true, I relooked at the scene, cat had a Siamese mask and was a mixed (Siamese/Calico) cat. If you ever had cats and dogs like I have..Siamese act like dogs, with some cat thrown in. Very trainable, with some patience. Others here will attest.
That's what cat whisperers are for I guess.
@@brianjschumer Persian and Burmese cats also. Those Siamese are like guard cats too in a pinch.
Nobody survives I think that’s the true message of this
In regards to Bobby, he was there in the scene when they were all discussing Christopher Columbus
in the end, it was just Paulie and a cat...sitting outside Satriale's...
Orange means death, so Paulie was surrounded by the reminder of death around him
After watching the ending to The Irishman, it really reminded me of this scene.
After every horrible shit these people did in their miserable lives, they've got nothing to show for it in the end, it's so cold, hollow, empty, and just pointless in the end.
Literally came back from that “they’re all dead. Who are you protecting anymore”
David Chase needs to read this.
That would be hilarious to see him acid tripping on the plane XD
Genius
I want to see this show😃
You'll get your wish david chase confirmed a prequel to the sopranos. ...coming soon! !!! I cant wait.
Now they are both in that Bada Bing in the sky
He looked concerned afterwards. As if he was talking to Tony for the last time
I always wondered if he had Tony taken out
Korynne Lyles no way did he ever consider whacking Tony.... that’s an impossibility. Paulie was worried about himself. He was constantly fearing death on the show.
@@JJJJJVVVVVLLLLL Especially with how cold Tony had been, after just refusing a promotion, Paulie was scared shitless
Did y’all literally watch the scene he didn’t wanna take capo of the construction crew
Yes. Because everyone who takes that crew, passes early
They even shot the cat in the whiskers so his mother couldn’t give him an open casket
It was amongst the felines, real furball shit.
@@Uppernorwood976 So good.
Billy Cats was a made guy and the cat wasn't
LMAO! Cute, but funny as hell!
@@Uppernorwood976 this is gold 🤣🤣
This scene hits with Tony gone. Fantastic actor till the end.
both tonys
Rest easy Tony. Incredible actor
CalumFace Yes, David Chase’s attention to detail in this series is nothing short of amazing. He’s a great filmmaker.
Chase a genius
The Sopranos was the best series ever. That's all I have to say about that.
Life is like a box of chocolates John, you'll never know what you're going to get
Damn, Paulie is the only one left. Crazy. It’s like looking back at early episodes of TWD, most of them are dead. When the sopranos ended it was a totally different show then when it started. So many great characters died. Great series.
RIP Tony Sirico the man played Paulie absolutely perfect
Albert Wesker tony and Christopher were the only good characters
Albert Wesker - Tony died in that scene but his fate was sealed anyway. With Carlos set to testify it was either death or jail for life.
That's the story of life really .It peaks and then it's all downhill.
Tony died my friend.
It's also a sad scene because the NJ-NY war wiped out many of Tony's top guys. Remember in previous seasons where it was Tony and a dozen other guys chilling in front of Satriales? Now, everybody is dead or injured or fled or behind bars.... only Paulie and Tony left.
and the very evil cat
Wasn't Patsy left ?
Patsy was left, his son was also engaged to Meadow at the end..In real life the guy who plays Patsy is a University professor or teacher or something like that (go figure)
Still had lower Ranking guys around like Pauly Jr and Benny, and there was patsy and that guy in bobby's crew. But yeah pretty much everyone is dead or in jail.
Fuck them both. Scumbags.
Thing is a lot of creepy stuff happened to or around Paulie, not just
1) the cat, but
2) that psychic who reeled off hits from way back and a few we'd seen on screen, 3) that '3 o'clock' weirdness,
4) that Russian who he hits with a clear headshot in the but somehow gets up and THEN disappears, no blood/footprints on the snow...
and virgin mary appearance, of course
+Jay Bee Hah, yeah, Rasputin :D Well, the show does have that supernatural aspect in it.
But still.. I watched that scene again and I still believe it went like I said. But of course it is for everyone to make their own conclusions when a show doesn't reveal something.
The level of respect he had for Tony throughout. It was admirable to say the least 🙏
The cat symbolized Adrianna, which is why it was obsessed with pictures of Christopher. Adrianna was seen wearing a memorable tiger-striped jacket, as I recall.
This one scene typifies why The Sopranos was pure genius.
Brilliantly filmed and acted. Perfect. Miss all of them.
