I am a real beginner.
I am going to try the way. I like IT. Thanks, Ivanka from the Czech Republic. 🍀👍🍀
Just keep having fun! I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching! 😊
Lovely piece! Thank you for the shout-out! 🤗
Thanks so much! 🥰
Abstract art is intuitive and is beautiful, not copied! Thank you for sharing your beautiful painting?
Thank you, Barb! ❤️
I love them❣️❣️❣️❣️🤩
Thanks so much, Marsha 🩷!!!
Thank you for this video. Love the pallet. You are encouraging me to to try colors I have not tried together before. I could see a landscape in the larger cutout. Take care.
Thank you, Janet. I'm glad it was helpful! I was definitely getting some desert type landscape vibes 😉. You take care as well 🩷.
I agree trying to get things perfect it is a lot of pressure. Thanks for reminding us to enjoy the process. Have a great weekend.😊
Thank you, Machelle, you too! And hopefully you can have a little fun time 😉!
Letting go of the perfectionist. Thank you! I’m also luvin the colour palette.
Yayyy!!! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed 😊!
it takes a real pro to make abstracts look great. ty for sharing. i love it.
Oh gosh, what a nice comment! Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊.
You’ve created such a lovely piece of art! I especially like your use of an Inktense pencil over wet paint. I have a tendency of buying art supplies with no plan of how to use them. I have several Inktense pencil that I will start using now, thanks to you 😊
Yayyy! I know, I tend to forget about some supplies if I don't use them for awhile, lol. TFW!
Thanks so much for watching!!! Please like and subscribe 💓💓💓 And if you liked this abstract, check out my abstract playlist 😋: ua-cam.com/play/PLn72Ronqz53a9Zm_FmxJH7FeS548n8v6n.html Please let me know if you have any questions!

Oh I do love these colors and what you did with them. I’ve got them in my cart. 🎄
Thank you! Sorry to be an enabler, lol 😆...but they are a lot of fun to play with. Enjoy!
Also loved the colors you used. Very calming and beautiful
Thank you so much! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Great relaxing way to explore. I’m new to abstract. Your work really appeals.
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed!
Fabulous 👌 ❤
Thank you!!!
IT is interesting....
I love this! Beautiful color combination. You have a lovely southern accent. I’m from SC and live in Scotland. Cheers❤
Well, thank you! It must be really cool to live in Scotland! I love their accent! Cheers!!! 😊
Super gorgeous!
Thank you so much! TFW!
@@Ginger_McElfresh_Art I started painting about a month ago, and have been devouring videos, especially anything abstract. You are YT's latest offering, and I'm here for it.
That's awesome! I'm glad you're here! I've got more coming!
I just subscribed and painted along with you, and I'd like to say thank you for getting me to use my craft supplies I've had in my desk for years. I'm just learning to watercolor, and my past passion was making cards. I'm became so obsessed trying to get them perfect and keeping up with the latest stamp sets and inks and gadgets it just became stressful and expensive, so I quit. I noticed I've started doing the same the more I watercolor, so thank you for the reminder ❤ I'm excited to paint along more with you in the future.
Yayyy! That's so awesome! I'm so glad that was helpful! And I really appreciate you taking the time to share that with me! That's the whole reason for this channel. I can definitely relate, and alot of times when I am talking to you guys...I'm trying to remind myself as well 😉. No stressing! Thanks for being here 😊.
@Ginger_McElfresh_Art thanks do much for replying. I shared my painting on Instagram. I tagged you and your tutorial. Thanks again. ❤❤❤
It all looks like a beautiful landscape really‼️‼️. It’s very beautiful❣️. I just found your channel. Looking forward to following you along.
Thank you so much! Glad you found me and you enjoyed 😉
I love this! it's so much fun and thanks for sharing the colors you're using. I think I detect a Southern "accent". Hello from a Northern viewer. Apparently we have an "accent" too, which I didn't even realize until I spent 18 yrs. in NC and then came home to MN. !!! Yup, we have a accent !!!!
That's too funny! Yep, I'm a Texan, lol! You should hear my daughter...she really has a "twang". I love the different accents...especially people from Boston! TFW, Kathy! ❤️
Nice colour choices and design. However, I think it would be nice of you to acknowledge Denise Love as your style and description and methods are very much the same as she has shown prior to your videos. Your videos are quieter, I will admit, but she shares such joy, that if you haven't seen hers, you should maybe check them out.
Tfs
Thanks for watching, Jane. I have watched Denise's channel, and really like her style! We are very similar in some of what we do. She was a big influence early on in my art journey! I would consider my style derived somewhere between her and Laura Horne. I adore both of them ❤️
@Ginger_McElfresh_Art thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it. I also want to say thanks for mentioning Laura Horn. I've seen her pop up in my Instagram feed, but not checked out her UA-cam channel, so I'll check that out too. 😊 you've gained another subscriber today, I hope you don't mind me following. Happy painting, and I hope you enjoy your weekend. Best wishes, Jane
Thank you. Of course I don't mind! I appreciate all of you being here. I think it's fantastic that we can all learn from and share and inspire each other! I wouldn't be where I am if it weren't for the generosity of others! I am so thrilled to give back. I hope you have a great weekend as well, and squeeze in some fun art time 😊.
Lovely color choices and the way you lay them down is impressive. thanks very much for the demo.
Can you tell me the brand of your paper cutter is and where it is sold?
Thanks so much! Sure! It is a Martha Stewart cutter, and I could only find it in one store online. I don't know if it's being phased out, but I will link to it for you, however I have never shopped at this store, so I can't vouch for them. There are some similar ones on Amazon, the only thing that is different is the pull out vs. the swing out ruler. I have a guillotine style that I really like, so let me know if you want a link for that one instead. HTH!

Thanks for this amazing video. I like the result. Can you tell me where you got the stencils from?
You are so welcome, Petra! Thank you for watching. I think they both came from Temu, and unfortunately I don't have a link for those (they always change their inventory) ....but Amazon usually has some similar ones. I hope that helps 😊
@@Ginger_McElfresh_Art thanks for your quick answer. I couldn' find them on Amazon but i'll try Temy.
Really enjoyed this demo. First time trying w/c abstract. Painted along with different colors. Where would I find the stencils that you used with sponge work. Also what is the name of the paint you use with the stencils. Thank you.
I'm so glad you gave it a go! I think those stencils came from Temu, which I haven't seen lately. But I think the paint is Modern Masters which is linked in the description. Let me know if you need anything else! ❤️
What stencil brand did you use??
I got these from Temu, and don't have a current link for them. Sometimes, they call stencils "templates" so they can be hard to find. TFW!
Looks a lot like Denise Love’s way of painting. It’s good to give credit where it’s due
We do have similar styles of creating 😊.
Abstract is abstract. Don’t get so hung up on who deserves credit or you miss the point - freedom of expression.
Academy is there student grade paper. It is called artist great for the next level. I have used the artist creaperiod. As I New to water color I practice with Academy and I'm brave on artist grade.
Baby I use mainly cold press. You will love this paper
It is obvious I am also new to typing excuse the boo boo's
I do really like it! I know what to ask Santa for, lol! I was a little confused though, as usually student grade papers are not 100% cotton...not sure how artist grade is better 🤔. But then again, I am no expert on paper, lol. Thanks so much for watching!
With bauhong papers Academy is not as textured as artist. I find there is not much difference. The quality seems to be, in my opinion, very similar. What do you use to tape your paper to abort? I am finding it hard to find a good tape. That doesn't tear my paper. I like a one inch. This is why I use a block as it doesn't seem to warp as much. It does cost more.
But Baujong, but bahong doesn't offer sheets unless you buy
the larger sizes.
@georgeclinton2570 I see! Thanks for sharing that. I have the tape I use in the description under my favorite supplies...from Amazon. And actually, I was thinking about doing a video on how to make your own custom block...so I guess I will 😉!
😀
How do I find the description?
If you look underneath the video, but above the comments, you should see something like "more..." then click that, and you will see it, BUT I'm not sure that is visible if you are on a TV. HTH!!! 😊
I want to bring awareness to the fact that kuretake uses animal products in their paints. They are BEAUTIFUL but surely they can reformulate. They contain - animal hide glue, beeswax, sugar, sugar syrup, and glycerin
Tfs!
I want to bring awareness to the fact that sugar and sugar syrup are not animals but plants!! Is beeswax endangered? The other listed ingredients are all byproducts!!! I love my Kuretake paints and have no problem with their formula!!
I’m not bothered if my paints are made using animal products. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Abstract art has no meaning is copycat noir
I don't necessarily think that it has to have a meaning per se. Art is so subjective. But it sure is fun to paint! 😁 Thanks for watching!
Seems your lack of education is showing and unfortunately there is no hope for you.
Is this comment missing punctuation? It makes no sense to me.
@@BB-nz5sk I didn't understand the copycat noir part, lol.
@@Ginger_McElfresh_Art okay - just making sure I wasn’t way behind the times 😆❤️
