Paint Texture Experiments in a Loose Abstract Watercolor
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- Paint a flowing abstract watercolour with me where I put into practice some of the textural effects I tried out in last Friday's watercolour experiments. In this project, I used plastic wrap, stamping, scratching lines and adding salt to create special effects in my painting.

Love these. Will try something myself.

I keep seeing that paper (?) with that decorative border. What is that, a type of paper or something else?
Looks like Arches…. Cover just turned back.
@@sedmed googled it. It’s a pad of paper - thank you!
Yes, previous commenter is right, it’s an Arches watercolour block.
@@LouDavis ah, the “block” was the key. I see how that is slightly different. Very interesting. Thanks!
Very much enjoyed this 😊
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
really like how it came out great work
Thank you! Cheers!
What type of tape do you use for the border that doesn’t tear the paper? Thank you!
I use any cheap masking tape - if it’s too sticky, tape it to the table surface before sticking to your paper.
Thank you!@@LouDavis
