I'm an automotive technician with 17+ years experience. I don't have issues learning something new so I decided to try this route. I have learned its very difficult to remove the back bottom bolt. You have to place your hand behind the exhaust to grab it and that's after you have managed to push it far enough with the other hand. This job is much easier and quicker to do if you follow the book.
Nice work. I did this on a Nissan Quest, same job basically. Be VERY careful with the transmission cooler to radiator fittings, mine were slightly cracked and removing the transmission cooler lines made them fully break. Use an extendable magnet to help with the long bolt at the rear of the alternator. Stay gold.
My Nissan murano 2005 6cyl sl .after putting a alternator in the rpm in running to high.could you or someone show me how to do it in steps so can get backed it idling right. Please
How did you manage to align the long screw on the back I'm doing it right now omg it was so easy to take out with your advise but I can't get that screw in😪
I think it is the easiest way too, if you at a shop with all the equipment's to do A/C well that is different. But as a do it yourself, it is the best way.
I do the same. But I don’t remove radiator, just the fan set. Cut a carton piece to protect radiator. Don’t have to remove the battery holder and the battery. Spin the alternator while stirring near the radiator, very careful.
JUANKES CHANNEL my nut on pulley is all stripped, is there a way to replace alternator without unscrewing pulley? I used code grips but still can’t get it to out
I had to go tobthe mechanic. He had to replace my radiator and alternator and battery but everytime I start my car, the battery light comes on and the car turns off.
Im not a mechanic I'm a do it yourselfer he most of did something wrong or left something lose do not trust them. That's Y I do these for knowledge thanks
@@juankeschannel I appreciate it. Because I don't like to be treated like I am stupid. He kept my old alternator and broken radiator. And he was about to keep my battery. I am so mad at myself that he played me like a fiddle.
The good kind of mechanics are the ones that are rich enough not to scam people, most mechanics who scam, live day by day paychecks and that money comes from you
How u manage the long screw from the back and how did u lose the belt . And how did u put again the long screw if u didn't remove the tyre . I think u after likes and comments only coz this way is impossible way for non mechanical Ppl . I don't advise your way . It's not professional and It can cause alot of damage to surrounded parts

You don't need to disconnect the ac system, just drop it.

Thank you did you have to empty radiator water system?
Boris T yes You have to remember I'm not a mechanic I'm a FIXER upper do it yourself type hope you are to
Long bolt does it take a spacer
Guarantee that leak came from the bad valve cover gaskets. Same thing happened to mine. And will continue if you don't change the gaskets
How do I idle my gas pedal so it doesn't t run so high on my ram reader what do to adjust to fix the problem .thank you.
After putting the alternator in then I go to start it the idle to high.the ram is running to high. How can I fix this problem
Wish you would have shown the process instead of just explaining, how did you take the alternator off?????
Is the 09 the same
No dnt think so
What about belt? How do you remove it? You didn’t mention..
Boris T
THERE is a tensioner on the top left you lose it and the belt should release on its on wish it helps
Yes I am diy , so you had to remove tensioner and then did you have to remove pulley as well?
Boris T you dnt gota remove it just losen it n the belt gets lose then u take it out then u take out the screws that go to the alternator
