All those Newtons were concentrated into the ball of my foot and heel and slammed against his sternum. It basically folded him in half.
@@SmokinIt It did. A Taekwondo Jumping Back Kick is no joke. The mechanics of it, as I used it, was to basically turn my body into a coiled, compressed spring of potential energy. The crouch and turn to prep for the kick wind up that power inside your body. Then as you jump, you channel and release that built up power into the kick…which also has all of your weight behind it. In other words, it turns your leg and body into a ballistic missile. I agree with you... Because in the moment you turn, a member of different Kicks can come... The Back kick is also almost unblockable if you have enough speed 😊👌
I always find Muay thai's roundhouse kick really scary. For a pro fighter, it's a completely deadly weapon. No gimmick or any flare to it, just a swing and hit. Fast and powerful and most definitely a guaranteed bone breaking damage.
For most people, a sidekick/roundhouse, but I knew an oddity with a fearsome kick. He was an eight maybe nine-stone black belt in Wado Ryu, only 5' 4'' with a fearsome back-kick. It was delivered with whip speed. He could disguise the movement well in sparring. Even when we did pad work, and the bigger students were braced with a thick impact bag, the shock drove into them. It wouldn't send you flying like a sliding sidekick but would DIG right into you. Everyone dreaded holding the pad for him. Never met anyone with that speed or level of impact on a back kick since.
Pretty sure that a front kick would be a roundhouse in terms of force. Widely used in Pankration and is considered to be one of the most powerful kicks in said martial art, hesitant to say in all. But even if, still pretty powerful coming from a trained fighter.
Side kick? Side kick has always been my weakest. It's biggest strength is that it gives you the most range. I can get much more power out of a round or front kick. Maybe that's just because I'm bad at side kicks, but if I can get the proper momentum I'd rather just go with a front or back kick anyway.
I understand what you mean because with a side kick its no as fast but it has much more power in it but it takes longer to deliver that power. But with a round kick its immediate power as in less power but its all at once.
Personally my strongest kick is the hook kick, or push front kick. But this is just my opinion bc I do taekwondo. During sparring I find a kick that a lot of people don’t look for. I just do a crescent kick in the head then back leg spinning hook kick. These are the best kicks for me.
