Looking at a 1960's 1700 international loadstar. Bringing her back to life and doing what she used to do. Post a comment if you know the year, and if you have ever drove one.
I’ve got a 2 speed rear end out of one of those trucks if you want it. I bought a frame cutoff to build a dump trailer out of and I put standard trailer axles under it so the 2 speed is just sitting in my weed row. Was fully functional earlier this summer when the truck was cut up
Love watching you videos I’ve been watching for quite sometime now, it always puts a smile on my face when I hear phrases from another well, known UA-camr LOL…
Once the lifters pumped up it sounded pretty good. Amazing that the tires all hold air. Looks like you have a runner with minimal investment. Great looking old truck. Thanks for sharing.
I drove many of theese old trucks in my younger days. The 345 dint have much power as i recall.. and both engines were so hard on fuel mainly because they tended to haul loads way over 2 tonnes....and you couldn't drive without mashing the gas pedal to the floor in all gears.....
takes me back, when i was a kid ( in george county) there was a man in my hood had an old nash just like that, he hauled pupwood all week and drove it to church on sunday.🤣
One of the HotRod magazine spent thousands of dollars building a 392 to make IIRC 350 HP. It only looks like they get it running fast through the miracle of editing. I am surprised you didn't use your air nozzle through the inlet hole to blow it out. FYI anyone who trys this point it at the ground or you'll be having a scavenger hunt in the weeds
Not sure on the year. They were everywhere when I was a kid. and yes I drove them frequently. The Air Force even had some 4wd dump trucks we used around base in the Mid 80's. They are hard to work on though with that hood fender combo. like all Cornbinders, they were tough old birds.
With all the different jobs you do , have you any tools you have made to do certain jobs? Or ones you have modified or improved? At home or on the fly. I often find the home made tools are the most valuable. Look forward to see how the truck progresses.
She's Choochin'! Good Job!
I love old trucks. They have so much more character than the new ones. Love watching you tinker with em too. Keep up the good work buddy!
Это парень, любой грузовик отремонтирует!💯

cheers, loved coming along as you bought the old girl back to life! PS, you just need a rock and rope instead of those pesky brakes!
I love your videos and I love old trucks even more. Please make updates to this project!

So good to see it fire up and stay going on it's own, I gotta say that made my heart beat! :)
Hey buddy, good to see you. Keep up the great work!
Those old 345 where tough. I had a 1600 I hauled firewood on for years.
Great video. :)
I've used a grease gun and pushed the pistons out before massive pressure out of a grease gun

Ready for the beans!
Looks like the numbers on the dash are glow in the dark, if they are the paint that they used was slightly radioactive. Keep up the good work.
👍🏻🍻
Can you even get a windshield for that old of a truck? I never thought you would get it running, great job..
I'd like to see more on this truck
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼

IH used Dodge transmissions so a Dodge engine will bolt right up other that mounts had that 345 in a scout 2 dam good engine
I don't know if this was filmed before or after the bad storms. Hope you are okay.
This was after the storms we didn’t get hit but some other places did.
Thanks for the video.
Did you rebuild the carburettor off-camera? Or are you really lucky?
The only thing I did off camera was clean the points. Everything else you saw it.
Change the oil
2 1/2 miles to the gallon. That's ok in those days gas was .05 cents a gallon 😅😅
will there be a part 3 for the bean truck ?
150000 miles divided by 2.5 miles per gallon is 60000 gals at today’s prices of $3.50=$210000.00. Wow
Try some penetrating fluid that works, its called Rivolta by Fuchs.
Yea I say most of the channels are fake or a lot editing
