Adding the graphics with the chord shape is interesting. What might be more interesting is a graphic representation of the scale shapes you are thinking about whilst improvising.
That tele has so much mojo, it's awesome. Maybe you could do a video about improvising around chord shapes like you're doing at 4:15? I know Hendrix is famous for that, but I really only know (sort of) how to do it so far on the inverted major barre chord he uses in some of the songs
Should see if Joe Bonamassa would come on as a guest. Maybe he's a gun guy too? Thought that'd be cool. Actually, what about Ted? The motor City madman would for sure come hangout with you guys I'd think.
Closed voicing means: The highest note and the lowest note fall with 1 octave. Clusters... not like when piano players have wide intervals spread out over the keyboard.
Don’t stop these kinds of videos man! Very informative
Beautiful tone on that neck pickup.
Yessssss. Been waiting for this 😈
This video was amazing, I don't know someone better at explaining closed voicing chords. Thank you so much.
True Renaissance man. Excellent.

Great video man! Really enjoy seeing the duality in your knowledge, both a warrior and poet.
Awesome video... Keep up the good work 🙂 👍👍👍
Example at 4:15 makes me think of Lee Moses' can't take no chances... Thanks the pattern to start from in working it out!

What's the setup you're recording with? That tone is incredible!
Great video my friend....
Closed voicings have absolutely nothing to do with whether you use an open string. I’m sure you have other good content but this is way way off.
Eric you should check out CMG guitars.there 100% in Georgia. And affordable . I believe there in Statesboro
Great video but I understand that close chords technically contain notes that are within an octave . Can't be the case of a 7#9 chord can it?

Haha I didn't realize I was doing open faced chords all along.
A is the Major 7th of Bb, just saying 😎
Keep up the great work.
Maga Baby.

agreed. it has nothing to do with open strings.
Have you ever fooled with open G tuning?
I messed with it only to discover the D G and B are exactly the same as standard tuning.
This must be the dirtiest or most wear on a fretboard i have ever seen
