@@214Kevo not really. Difference is Steph's team is tailor-made for him and it's made up of players who played with him long before KD got there. Klay, Dray, Iggy, Livingston. Lakers are young players who hadn't chosen "the man" yet before the 2018-2019 season began. If It was KD instead of LeBron on the lakers, then KD would be the man like LeBron is now. Difference between those two is there is less media drama surrounding KD so less distraction and his style of play would allow for the younger players to get more touches. Then the point guard would actually run point because KD won't run the 1 like LeBron often does. Maybe occasionally but mostly he'll play off ball as he always has. Lonzo not being able to shoot probably would be talked about less because KD himself is a sniper( Lebron needs shooters around him but KD IS the shooter and an efficient one at that). All Lonzo would have to do is fill a Rondo type position. Play D, go to the hole, knock down a few free throws, take a 3 every now and then and find his open teammates. Also team chemistry wouldn't have been hindered either and we all know that played a huge part in them missing the playoffs this year. Lastly, LeBron deficiencies cost them games as well. Can't forget that late game free throw misses by LeBron lost them important games. That would not be the case with KD. And KD also still plays defense at an elite and consistent level unlike LeBron. He'd be the leader in that category and inspire everyone else to do the same.

My fans defend me with the excuse that I went to the finals 9 times, but what’s the use if I don’t get the job done? The truth is I don’t care anymore if I win the finals, I just try to make my numbers look good so my mindless fans can feel sorry for me and give me participation medals 🏅. Despite being called the king, I left my kingdom 3 times and abandoned my team. I’ve never won a championship without having 2 all stars with me but I still get all the credit for it. In comparison, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan are true goats. They never needed more than 1 all star to win, they actually won the finals, and they never had to leave their teams to do so. I’m just a product of the media who people mindlessly worship nowadays after looking at my worthless stats which won me only 3 championships in 16 years. I just dont understand. How are people calling me the goat when I fail to accomplish the whole purpose of winning the game.

That 2016 WCF series was a bad one for the whole team, not just Durant. Westbrook was even worse. However, that series was the exception, not the rule. Durant in both the regular season and the post season has been consistently great on both ends of the floor while showing a skill level above anyone elses in the league. No other player; Harden, Kawhi, Paul George, Anthony Davis, or anyone else has been as lethal. Davis is the closest, because hes a great rim protector, but not as good offensively as Durant. Durant twice already, back to back, has faced Lebron, the so called "greatest" in the Finals and has proven him a fraud.
