I like how you placed yourself in the cockpit! Nice touch, dude!
Yes I noticed! I think he used a green screen behind the sim to do this.
Thanks a lot for checking out the vid!
Yup ive added a green screen
@@HomeSimPilot def, I look forward to a new post showing your awesome setup!
@@HomeSimPilot you're a massive inspiration too! Your setup would literally be my dream flight sim and your videos are really good especially with the new green screen!
You are THE most innovative flight simmer on the web. Your videos keep getting cooler and more creative. Insane. Animation, the fully immersive shot from the panel back into the cockpit. You might want to explore side hustles in the video production arena. YOU ARE THAT GOOD!
Wow I really appreciate the comment sir and thanks for watching! Im learning a lot more about editing now and im loving it.
Ooooommmg. seeing you from the front inside your plane is insaaaaaaaaaane. You are *killing* it!!!!!!
Thanks a lot. I appreciate you watching the video. Cheers!
Going that extra mile sets your channel apart from the rest. Great video, audio and sound track. Keep up the cool vibes.
Much appreciated!
Next level video right here. That in-game cockpit shot of you sitting in the plane, is incredible. Another awesome video sir 👏 👏👏

You are the Avent Guarde of Home Flight Simulators...it never ceases to amaze me how you keep one step of the game!!! That being said..I am looking forward to the XBOX X series. and the release of MSFD 2020 for the XBOX X platform...This summer 2021 ( June I think)...... I am an "old school" simmer (#FSXXPLANE.9.10.11#MSFS) going back to the eighties!! My garage runneth over:)... Now what you are doing is next level!!!!... The only thing I want to do now is get me an empty RV And turn the whole thing into a "Rolling Mobile Flight Simulator Platform!!!( and take it on the road)... What do you you think?? Anyway ... Keep up the good work!!!..🐦🐦🐦

Great video. Interesting setup!
Superbe atterrissage et excellente vidéo
Thanks a lot!
You are a phenomenal inspiration!
Wow looks so real, congrats bro.
Could you do another short tour of all your setup, list etc... this was fantastic. What would you recommend are the necessary items to have for a home sim?
Yup ill be posting an update on my sim soon. Thanks for checking it out!
Def interested in trying to make something like this for my home. I have been doing the VR thing for awhile and since leaving real world flying for medical, I would rather do 2D. I would love some help and that to try and get things going from what you have and the hook ups with what you did with your desktop aviator stuff. Thanks!
Definitely would be interested in a walk thru and cost breakdown of your setup. Also, if you could talk about what enhancements/upgrades you would do that are currently available versus when you built it! Excellent Work!!!
@@HomeSimPilot Any updates?
Awesome job with that rear view. Adds to the emersion on our part. Always loved your setup. I am just now going from flight stick to The honeycomb setup, just waiting on the Bravo. And pro-flight rudder peddles. It's my first time flying with a yoke. But always admired your setup. You're not just subbed, you're "belled" dude!
Thanks a lot man! I appreciate that. Thats cool you switched to a yoke, especially the honeycomb setup. I love their stuff
Dude. That’s bad ass! Love it!
best video I've seen in a long time 😅👍
Excellent! Nice video work!
Thank you very much sir!
Holy cow, you're in the plane! 😉
Yes I am! Thanks so much for watching.
Excellent!!! fantastic!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
So dope! Amazing vid as always mate ;)
Why no videos in the lady year? You need to try multi view in MSFS. It is out in SU10 beta and will be released soon. Hope you will try it and do some more videos.
Great job!
Very nice!!! OMG I NEED IT!
Love this I'm so jealous
Thanks for watching man!
Nice video. Love the rear view with you in it. You have a nice setup.
I really appreciate it!
Phenomenal!!!.
Great idea with the chroma key behind you haha
Thanks a lot man!
I just found your channel 4-4-24 & been speed running them 😂 , I hope you’re doing well & you start uploading again soon.
152 the best little plane 😍
Its my favorite plane too
Again - great work . Enjoying your video and your flight
Thats great. Im glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
My favorite UA-cam spot right here ! Did you green screen yourself Into the aircraft for the rear shots.
Awesome setup. I have a panel set up with only 1 front screen. I was wondering how do you setup the 2 side monitors. Im using Microsoft flight sim 2020. Do you need to use 2 separate computers for each side? Could you let me know how its done?
Thanks
Great Video!!!
Thanks Captain!
Perfect example of work from home.
Thanks for checking it out!
As others have commented, I'll join the chorus of how cool that looked of you in the cockpit and your viewers could see you and the back seats and the back of the plane.
How did you accomplish that?
Also, I see you went back to original cockpit, as it looks like you were not using the bezel free kit or am I mistaken. If I'm right, and you weren't using them, why? Did they not meet up to your expectations? Were the bezels not invisible enough?
Also, curious to know, how many cameras do you use? Or do you have one camera and make multiple same flights but place camera in different location like the front filming you and the back of the plane. Or have the camera behind you filming forward. Or have the camera to the side filming your profile, as well as, out the side window.
Good to see you back. Looking forward to your next flight.
Jet Piedmont is this the original Piedmont from Winston Salem of Tom Davis? Or the stolen name Piedmont that was Henson airlines?
I worked for Tom Davis so I am a bit partial. Just wondering. It is nice to see the Speed Bird😁🛫
@@TheFalconJetDriver The original logo, all Tom Davis's hard work. Employed by Piedmont Aviation (General Aviation FBO operations before they also got into the airline business) Worked from 1984 - 1989. While there, received from their FBO flight school Private, Commercial, Instrument, Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor training. It was a nice time since deregulation of the airline industry allowed Piedmont to grow and be profitable. Working in the Parts Department / Employee Company store, I got the chance to meet a lot of great people that made up the airline, from pilots, flight attendants, maintenance, reservationists, etc. Sad day, when USAir bought them out, but I have a collection of tee shirts, sweatshirts, bumper sticker, model 737 and 767, and some other collectibles to remind me of better days.
Hello sir, thanks a lot for checking out the video! I used a green screen and 3 cameras to make this video. I recently took my sim apart for carpet cleaning and the bezels were damaged in the process. Ill be getting some more soon.
@@HomeSimPilot A green screen, just like another commenter said. That is so cool with the effects you can create with it. Keep up the great work. I enjoy viewing your flight videos.
all that was just amazing,
Thanks man!
Great work man.
Appreciate it man!
Amazing ma Man!!! Cool stuff!! Peace & Respect!!!!!
Appreciate it man!
It even sounds real.
Love the shot angles. Awesome.
Thanks for checking out the vid!
You keep upping your game and it’s awesome!
Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it
Well done, very nice and pro video to watch! Just wondering if the screen distance isn't a problem for your eyes? Thank you for all the content! Really enjoying it!
Very nice. I’m setting up my sim similar to yours. Did you use any film or glass on the TVs to reduce glare?
Very nice! You need to try the Chagual Landing Challenge...
Thanks man. I'll check that out!
I always ask myself, what components did you use, to create that instrumentpanel? It really looks nice.
By the way, always nice movies.
Greetings,
aaRBee
Bro where are the live streams or new videos lol you have something good going!
Cool sim
I appreciate it!
This guy is a fucking legend
Never been so jealous Man
Great video! Loved the new inside the cockpit front cam comp shot. What happened to your bezels??
Thanks for watching the vid! I recently took my sim apart for carpet cleaning and they got damaged in the process. Ill be getting some more.
Stellar work as usual! I'm curious about one thing about these simpits. One thing you don't really get is depth perception since these are just flat screens. In VR for example you get full depth perception, but you do not have the luxury of a fully fledged cockpit. I'm wondering, if you use 3D displays. Would that work on something like this? I guess my main concern here is that 3D displays are no longer being produced and it would be a tricky setup to get working and to get full depth perception you would still need some kind of tracking device that tracked your position in space similar to how a VR headset does it but minus the rotation axis.
Thanks a lot sir! I've tried VR a few times and I didn't really enjoy it so I've been happy with the TVs. I haven't thought about using 3D displays but ill look into that.
3D wouldn’t work for the side screens since it’s based on eyes looking directly at the screen from an equal distance. In addition, I think passive 3D would have an issue with the angle. I think to short distance to the large screens would have an unwanted effect on depth as well.
Unique videos : actually the best !
At 1:57 you show a tablet with VFR map, what would be the software you are using ?
I really appreciate it! The app im using is Foreflight
@@HomeSimPilot thank you for the answer
Will you build these for other? I am definitely interested!
indeed!!!! dope bruh
Appreciate it bro!
Dude, where have you been? I have a question about your monitor setup if you see this. I hope all is well.
How are you getting the backdrop?!?!
Great Video Thank you - I have purchased the X box x and waiting impatiently for the Microsoft FS 2020. Can you please assist in equipping the hardware the way you have it and at what cost? Thank you
Thanks a lot! Yes I will post an update on my sim soon
What are you using for autopilot?
How about doing it for real now? Have you considered taking the next step and start your real flight training?
Basically 0 lags because you don´t have to move the camera xD
Are you using X-plane 11 or Microsoft flight 2020?
In my old ms flight sim program I could not taxi any aircraft right I calibrated the joystick and throttle dozens and dozens of time but could not solve the problem. Did you or anyone else have that problem. Please anyone reply.
Dude, do people who actually recognize you in public ask to follow you home to fly that SIM? Hell, I certainly would👊😎 !!!
Are you back to uploading regularly?;but wow this must have taken a lot of editing
I will be posting some more videos. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it!
What the link to the music
Not fs 2020 this movie ? Multi-screens ok ????
This video was made with xplane 11
@@HomeSimPilot Thanks for the amazing videos. I've been building my set up based on yours lol. I have been running xplane 11 and fs2020. Fs2020 is gorgeous on one screen but falls apart for me trying to run 3 monitors. Xplane is great for 3 monitors I've noticed. In the Video where you explained the 3 screen setup did you lose clarity at all on fs2020? Or do you just prefer xplane? I noticed xplane seems way more accepting of the yoke, rudder, and other misc controls.
GPU?
