He woke up and decided to speak his story and made people listen. The line when he said he’s a “fan favourite” is so true cause til now people who say they hate him are the same ones taking their time out of their day to comment negative stuff about him under his solo stuff😭 it’s like they were waiting for his solo debut more than us fans atp

One thing i keep remembering is one of the behind the scenes vlogs with Lucas saying he wished he got to sing more and he only gets to rap and dance. In this, he is SINGING. It wasn't a great way to get there, but I'm glad that part of his ambition is now able to be recognized.

I am so glad he was taken care of, protected and helped so he could recover, instead of committing suicide. He mentioned how hard it was in his documentary. I am thrilled that SM let him say what he needed to say. I am sad he had to lose his members, but I am hopeful he will tear it up as a solo artist.
God given talent like that should never be wasted. Lucas was born to perform. Been watching him on the music shows live performances and you can see his confidence growing with each performance. The song is catchy as heck. 🎉🎉🎉Congrats Lucas Welcome back❤

Giant baby Lucas 👏👏 21/2 years long overdue for no reason. He came back directly, that alone shows what bs everything was. like a Korean company will not let an artist directly come out like this over stuff that's true.
Him being the “rat” for calling out a stalker and them trying to hit him aka take him out but kept missing🔥 then the Dance version just for people who stay lying that this man can’t dance/has no talent. And just the lines, “ i know they gone tell a lie” “let them chirp like birds” im a fan favorite” like period. He said don’t act like I wasn’t one of the main members y’all stayed losing y'all mind over, don’t act like I wasn’t one of the main faces/members in both my groups nct especially bringing in fans. Then a cheating rumor comes out legit THE DAY BEFORE the unit with him and hendery was supposed to drop and now all of a sudden I’ve never been talented, I can't dance, etc.
All it took was for 1 rumor to come out about him for people to blindly/instantly just believe it and show their true colors of how they obviously always felt about him but never had a "reason" to act the way they have been until now with the rumor. like the hate is just fake. especially when there was idols during his hiatus who went through the exact same thing and I don't see them keeping the energy the have with lucas for anybody else....👀☕ mind u the same "haters" r spending their money traveling to another country to go to his fan signs, buying his tickets for his fan calls, etc like yall are fans admit it 😂
I hear you on how you would have liked him to come harder on this track. But this comeback Lucas is walking a fine line and I know they didn't want him to appear cocky. So I'm sure that was why they choose that in the studio. They just let the words speak. Love the track though
In my book it's the worst release I've ever seen from SM, Im literally flabbergasted. Mind you Im not saying this due to any opinion on the scandal, I don't know what was true or not, but I find lyrics like "I'm a fan favorite" already waaay too cocky for my taste even if he was innocent, together with very mediocre talent and popularity that was always mostly based on looks. But the fans seem to be eating it up so in that regard SM is right and Im wrong.
@aligensa honestly my main reason for wanting this comeback to be a success is because of the truth of his scandal. If he's excepted than idols who have done lesser things, Like smoke or having had a girlfriend in the past can comeback. I was never really a Lucas fan, but I would like kpop fans to be more forgiving of their idols. And let them have flaws but redeem themselves without losing everything. SM lately has struggled a bit for me
@@janiemclemore4756 That's a good point. But without something like a police investigation nobody will ever really know what happened, and people tend to make up their minds less on the basis of facts than whether they like someone or not.
Personally I agree that people should be more forgiving and that they should also keep their noses out of private matters. But its partly a cultural and religious thing we can't do anything about. During the classical Hollywood era audiences behaved quite similarly. It's a form of old fashioned Puritanism.
Nowadays in the era of social media some of the outrage may also be fake, namely trolls paid by competitors. But its very difficult to prove and do anything against, so companies are helpless.
That they apologize whether they are guilty or not just for being involved in something unpleasant is also a cultural thing, in this case a standard of politeness that several Asian countries have.
I dont agree about SM though, until recently they still produced quality, eg TVXQs "Down" and "Rebel" were the best songs of 2023 for me.

Lucas is gonna have a incredible and spectacular career as a performer and artist because he has so much confidence and charisma with the most powerful facial expressions and stage performances
I didn't like this song much when it released but it grew on me. I was excited with his project and fully support everything he does bcos he's innocent. He's a young guy who deserves this redemption too. He is a fan favorite as he says.

I am glad Lucas is back. This song definitely sounds like he is addressing what happened to him back then in his own artistic way. I liked the song, but for me, in the beginning, maybe they should have chosen different lyrics in the first verse because it sounded like a mouthful. And he couldn't get it all out in the end. But I really liked his single album.

Glad I waited patiently for you guys reaction to Lucas’s solo comeback. I’m really proud of him specially as a fan of SuperM and I’m really glad even though unfortunately it turned out for him to leave the group & NCT as a whole. I notice he’s the only member in SuperM that didn’t solo debut yet & the fact that he’s back & did it I’m so glad he’s back. I want to support him & streaming his songs as much as I can. Thank God that he’s gonna have more spotlight to showcase his talent because it’s something at least in SuperM that I notice he didn’t get much lines or spotlight. I was so glad to see in Twitter so many fans were flying to see him perform, at shows performing his songs and really got all the love that he’s receiving because he went through a lot. I agree with Dame that people should be given another chance and also, the company didn’t handle it well. I think people forget that some times people can lie easily on the internet & especially spread rumors not questioning or testing them of what they are saying is true or not about the artist.
A favorite Anime English voice actor I like, unfortunately went through something somewhat similar where rumors were spread on the internet about him from years ago & most of his colleagues cut ties with him & he lost his job & convention gigs. I’m glad he’s doing better now & I can’t imagine how difficult that was but he shared in a podcast that those same “friends” even reach out to him & he still helped them out despite how the treated him. Really shows the character he has.
I’m here to support Lucas & so glad for his return Lumis (fandom name) really missed him & look forward to any more stuff he has coming his way for us.

This can be just Lucas, my final favorite, the one I can call a strong winner who did not commit su *** because of a rotten and sick media. None of my other Kpop prejudices can make me feel crazy, addicted and satisfied like him, honestly ... It's our turn, Lucas fans, please watch the music video a lot. I totally get your critique, Ace, and I thought the same at first. But now I'm thinking it's because it's meant to be a press conference and he's supposed to be/look/seem subdued. Because that's what's expected from "repenting" idols. There's this whole plan of making them disappear for some time, for them to slowly reappear looking regretful and depressed. So I kinda expected a bit more from his facial expressions during plan B as well... But tbf, he now looks sad everywhere. He seems to have improved quite a bit and that's better than anything else. I'm kinda hoping they'll release Jalapeno (his track with Hendery) because it would be a shame to let it starve in the dungeon.

I understand what you mean that it could have need more energy. Cause that's how I felt the first time I watched the MV. It grew on me though. All in all, the song is awesome. This is Lucas' answer and SM's low-key statement as well cause....SM won't allow him to release this kind of song without any truth in it. The lyrics are in your face and in english. So, it is intended to be understood by majority of people korean and international.

I'm so glad he's back! I wish when a member gets in "trouble" that the record label would ask the actual members anonymously to vote on whether he leaves the group or not. Because they know if the member is doing something or not.

Simply put, this is the worst release Ive ever seen from SM, even the choreo is not their usual standard. I don't care about Lucas' scandal, but even if he was innocent and unfairly targeted, he shouldn't be displaying attitude like "Im a fan favorite". His popularity is mainly based on his looks, he's SMs least talented an interesting male idol. But fans seem to be eating it up so in that regard SM is right and Im wrong.
