Those that don't know Lucas worked his way from the 'bottom' to become one of the most beloved NCT members (Fan favorite), to being in SuperM (A super group with top tier artists). If he gotta start at the bottom again, so be it, he has the experience. The lyrics more than anything is giving what I needed to those who tried to destroy him. Plan B version... chef's kiss... the visceral anger in his moves, perfect.

I've heard a lot of criticism of Lucas and this comeback from people who believe he's a horrible person, etc. But as someone who doesn't know what to believe, I'll still come out and say that objectively, the song is good. The instrumental, the melody, and the rapping is great. My only question is: did Lucas always pronounce English words with a British accent? Because it caught me off guard upon first listen.
Lucas exposed his stalker and she made whole bunch of rumors on him which were proven false by clear evidence ! This is a song aimed to haters and sasaengs who have made false accusations against him. He was depressed and have to go on hiatus for almost 3 years. 😔
There is a documentary videos about it, namely Freeze and Unfreeze.
He is shooting facts about K-pop industry and Social media. It's not a mystery how Asian fandoms are, they act as if they own the idols and that is unacceptable. It was never proven that the accusations for which he was sunk were real. In fact, some were denied. He called out a saesang on bubble so her and some other people connected to her released fake allegations against him (there are threads on Twitter that go into really deep detail of it all). He was on hiatus for 2 years and eventually left NCT in 2023. But he's back!! The line ''I see it in their face, I see it in their eyes, they bout to tell a lie'' literally sounds like he's talking about those saesangs spreading these horrible false allegations of him!
