I’m getting the touring model in either white or silver, these cars handle great and they’re so fun to drive, and very very spacious!!!!
get it in white for sure. The silver is super bland and not a head turner. But hey thats just my opinion. Get the color you like. Also the touring model does not come with the blacked out sport grill so i would recommend you add it instead of the chrome grill that comes with the touring.
get the 2.0 , don waste ur money on cvt 1.5 search for dealerships in state and out of state which doesn do mark ups coz it will be atleast 43k which is almost the price for lexus es 350. premium certified. cheapest u can get for 2.0 touring is 38,445 with tax depending on ur state to 40k out the door .
Don’t do white. The white paint Honda uses is horrible, even on the newer models. It begins to chip and then eventually completely peel off.
Theres a lot of Facebook groups & posts online with many complaints.
@@jms08905 It is not just the white paint. It is all the colors. I had a blue accord, white, and two sonic greys. They all had peeling problems. Honda uses thin paint. You must wax the car to protect it at least once a week.

just got my 2022 sonic grey 2.0 sport about a month ago. This is my 4th Accord all same generations. Just a little heads up though the paint is extremely thin and super sensitive. The smallest debris will nick the paint. Make sure you wax the car often at least once a week. Also keep an eye on your front bumper where it connects to the fender. It starts to peel. All 4 of my accords did this. Honda will honor the fix cause the paint is covered by warranty for 7 years. Congrats by the way. I love my Accord too!

Only the 2.0 turbo comes with the 10 speed auto trans with 252 HP the others models have a CVT trans w 196 HP the Touring model has lot more bells and whistles and a 10 speaker premium audio system -push button trans -paddle shifters-HUD display on front windshield- speed sensitive wipers-heated seats front and rear and cooled front seats-navigation and lots more-very smooth ride and plenty of get up and go

The questions would be: how much was the initial MSRP? and how much did you manage to negotiate? Did he try to fool you w/ unnecessary fees? and did you negotiate the registration fee? (it's the only legit fee they can charge, which should be no more than $75), also: what was your rate when financing it, and the percentage you got approved? I hope you don't mind all these questions, but like I said, I plan on gettin' mine next month.
I just got in an accident in a 2010 and lived. Very well built cars, i will lease or purchas this one soon. Wish it was a better time to buy though 😕

How long do the turbos last on those cars? Is yours the 10 spd. Automatic?
@@microminiskirt From what I have researched, these turbo cars should be good for at least 200K if not considerably more. Yes, mine is the 10 spd.
are you going to tune it? I want to tune my 2.0 real bad but i know nothing about fixing up cars.

I have the 2021 same color. The only thing I hate is the sound system.

i had the 1.5 sport. Its pretty fast but once you go for the 2.0 man its a night and day difference. I believe the sport is 28 grand and the 2.0 is over 34 grand. Its way more expensive but if you can get the 2.0 its totally worth it. Its super nutty fast! I love it
Do not buy any extended warranty no mechanical breakdown insurance and no other worthless window tint or paint sealant or seat protection coatings etc.

I WAS AT HONDA DEALERSHIP YESTERDAY AND THESE CARS ALL OF THEM ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET. THEY ONLY HAD 2 NEW HONDAS IN SHOWROOM AND OF COURSE NOT THE WAY I WOULD WANT THEM IN OPTIONS THEY HAD OR DIDN'T HAVE🤮

For USA MODELS, What is the 0 to 60 times for the accord 2.0 turbo 10 spd. Auto and same question for the civic 1.5 hatchback turbo with 6 spd. Manual?

I had a 19 2.0T Sport. I loved the car until winter.
What happened in winter?
Get your own tint done and never pay addendum stickers which is dealer profit add on like 3 or 4 grand for all those things I said do not buy in my earlier comments.

do you feel any jerkiness with your 2.0t? I feel a little bit of jerkiness when braking and sometimes in the beginning of accelerating and also the car shakes a bit after turning off the engine. I heard some people say this car has that bc of all the gears it goes through but others have said it’s supposed to be smooth
Mines was jerking and it was brand new so it’s normal I guess
So the sport has a 2.0 turbo and the EXL has a 1.5?
Yes, I currently have a 21 EXL and they only offer the 1.5L T.
I believe you can also get the sport on the 1.5t motor
I was able to buy a 2020 model year EXL with the 2.0t & 10 speed auto, but I think that was the last year.

i had a 1.5 too. I have the 2.0 now. Huge difference right? Super Fast!!!

@@quadriderhonda i want to tune mine. Since its a detuned version of the Type R Engine it can easily go over 300 horses no problem if you tune it. Some people have even gotten it to 400 horses or even more! The car is insane

@@microminiskirt the Toyota is more reliable dude . I would say a bit more more actually . I prefer the Honda tho much faster than the Toyota .

TODAY POWERWISE THAT NEW ACCORD TURBO 2.0 20 SPD. AUTO IS THE FASTER OF BOTH BRANDS BUT RELIABILITY EITHER WAY WILL GO TO THE TOYOTA BRAND. THEN THE COROLLA IS MORE RELIABLE THAN THE CAMRY. NO CVT TRANSMISSIONS ONLY CONVENTIONAL AUTO TRANS OR 6 SPD. AUTO.
Any difference from the 21 touring? It looks like the same car with the same features
the touring just has more amenities. The style is a bit different too. The touring has a bunch of chrome all over the car which looks horrible in my opinion. The touring rims are all silver too and do not look as flashy as the sport rims. Chrome ruins the look of a car in my opinion. If you want to save money but get the same performance and still have a lot of amenities i would buy the 2.0 Sport Trim either in 2021 or 2022

These Hondas are no longer made in Japan so they aren't as good as MADE IN JAPAN CARS.
Man why is this car being recorded like we haven’t seen them on the streets for 4 years - we know what they look like. I was here to here some more driving impressions. And what is with the index finger rings? They look so out of place. So much time I’ll never get back. Ugh

only thing that would make that car better is changing all the interior bulbs for the vanity mirrors,dome light and map light from sad orange look to a led white
YOU CAN DO THAT YOURSELF. CHANGE OUT ALL INTERIOR BULBS TO LED BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE FOUND THE STANDARD BULBS TO GIVE OFF MORE LIGHT INSIDE CAR EVEN THOUGH THEY BURN HOTTER AND DRAIN MORE. THE LED FACTORY BRAKE LIGHTS ARE SUPER BRIGHT😎
ya thats one thing thats stupid that honda did not include in the 2.0 Sport trim. For that amount of money you would think the interior would be all LED.

My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was crickets from Cust service and VM of the case manager for weeks on end. I fell for all the influencers stating the Accord was the best in it's class.

Pretty much not sure why he filmed the thing for like 10 minutes as if we haven’t been seeing thousands of them on the road for 4 years.
as of 2021 the accord got refreshed with a new style and added amenities. Also the throttle and acceleration has improved on all trims from 2021 and up.
@@Rip84LW no new style. Just a minimal tweak to the front grill area. Only an expert with the old and new model side by side could see the difference

His hwy mpg is probably around 38, it is just a 2 liter 4 cylinder after all. So if most of his miles are highway/freeway it's unfair to call it a gas guzzler. I've got the hybrid variant because most of my driving is in town. I only get 38mpg doing 80 on the interstate, but I get 40mpg in town with a lead foot. If I tool around town like a granny, my mpg is in the 50s.

I have a 2013 and it’s a pretty tough car and still gets the job done. I think I’m going for a compact suv this time around though I have no idea which one I’m going to get but it will probably be a Japanese make.

Black is so hard to keep clean and not show swirls in it after awhile. Dark Grey beats Black any day of the week. But I love Cement/Sonic Grey.
