I have a 21 Sport 2.0t. It is a fantastic everyday car. For a sedan with an auto, it is very quick, handles great, and just a fun car to drive all around. This car is at home running a quick pace on a backroad or cruising 80 all day on the interstate. It also has a luxury “feel” with modern technology and comfortable ergonomics. Really a great bargain as well.
I have a 2010 accord sedan and a 2021 and the double wishbone 2010 is more nimble, love my 2021 touring but it’s heavy in the front and doesn’t compare with its MacPherson strut front end. I also have a 2012 coupe with a V6 and the handling is better in that one too. The 2021 is the quickest and most advanced. Love where Honda has gone, I wish they turbo charged a v6 and kept the double wishbone. But we got our Touring very very cheap. In all great 👍🏼 vehicle 🚗 that’s my honest input.
I have the refreshed 2021 Honda Sport 2.0T in blue. My car has excellent steering, handling and performance Wishing some of the features of the new Civic Touring were incorporated in the 2021/2022 Accord: like Bose sound system, and full 10.25 digital gauges and panoramic sunroof. My impressions that the upper trims of the Honda Accord were a lot better than the Camry XSE. Much cleaner, luxurious interior, low speed follow and braking, wireless connectivity lacking in the Camry.
As a 20-year Honda driver, I wish I got this car as it is an amazing looking car with lots of power. I was not looking seriously last year and the 2023 just does not have the sporty look and power options that I am looking for. I will probably go with a Kia K-5 GT. It looks great but I will always have some attachment to the Honda name and well earned reputation.

3:37 Shame on any dealer who is still putting pinstripes on vehicles these days! 3:55 Regular 87 octane fuel is recommended for all Accord models, including Accords with the 2.0T engine. 5:28 The hood prop goes into the square holes, not the round ones. I’m trying to decide between the accord touring 2.0 and the Camry XSE i4. I can’t decide between the two. Any thoughts on which one is better for long term reliability?
I test drive both, the Accord handles great and will be faster with the 2.0t vs the i4 Camry. My brother has a Camry XSE v6 and it’s also a great car. Hard choice but I like the classy look of the Honda Accord more. Good luck
@@LexCTF I decided against the Camry. It’s now between the Accord and Civic. I’m actually leaning more towards the Civic. I’ve had a 10th gen civic and was really happy with it.

Is a wireless charging pad able to automatically connect your android or iPhone to the car's specific OS car interface (android auto/Apple CarPlay)? I drove a newish Hyundai Kona and I guess the Apple CarPlay for my iPhone toc connect to was either Bluetooth or cord, but better interface if connected physically via a cord. Since there's a charging mat, does that count as a physical connection for the Apple CarPlay? Or do you have to use a lightning cable?
Yeah man the layout is a little questionable but it definitely works while being really fun to drive! I’d personally probably go with the 2.0t Sport but this touring trim is also a great car.
@@paullansville I got the 21 Touring couple months ago Absolutely amazing vehicle I had some trepidation also about the push buttons But adapted quickly in a day or so. Kinda like learning to type. Got the 21 Touring couple months ago Beautiful vehicle And the ipad thing, once its right in front of you, it actually fits right in. For me, it responds quick, no lag time, and the picture is crisp and clear. If you can swing it, go for this top trim. Kinda like a luxury class vehicle at a mid size sedan price. And it has some major kick also. Even in normal Drive mode it can fly off the line In Sport mode? Buckle up 😊
You have to put premium in this ? Man I am so tired of that gas, this was the reason why I wanted this car regular unleaded I wanted to go back to. What is the main difference between the 2.0t sport vs 2.0t touring ?
Hello W.T.F Car Reviews do all new 10th gen Honda accord models come with run-flat tires from the factory or am I going to have to buy a different set then what is currently on my brand new accord touring and what would you suggest as far as tire brand's go? P.S. I ask because I recently blew and eventually shredded a tire in a tunnel up in northern Alaska after running over a lot of debris and was wondering if there were any better tire options than what I currently have on the other 3 wheels on my 2022 Honda accord. Also I still do not know how to change a flat tire do new cars even come with a jack if they do not have room for a spare tire?
Honda actually rates the engine at 87 however I don’t know how comfortable I am putting regular fuel in a turbo car.. might be one of those “trans fluid lasts lifetime of the car” and then once the warranty runs out you’re screwed haha I doubt Honda wants to damage their rep tho.
Honestly, I don't think a full LCD instrument cluster is luxurious. Too many screens looks tacky. And a hydrolic hood not included on a near $40,000 car is confusing. Idk. Good review.
I purchased a 2020 Honda Accord in February 2020. This car is a disaster. I have spent more time at the service dealership with multiple problems with the vehicle than I have spent with all other cars in the previous 43 years of driving. Annoying rattle coming from the dash. Heated seats don't work with remote start. Passenger mirror does not return to correct position after reverse gear. Car repeatedly does not recognize connected smartphone. This is my third Accord. First two were great. 2020 Accord was a huge mistake purchase and has been a total disappointment and pain in my rear end. I meet with the dealership again on February 16 to find out if they are going to buy it back, provide me with a new Accord, or some other solution. If no solutions then the lawyers get involved. Total pain in the ass. I am planning on making another new car purchase, this time probably a Hyundai Sonata at the dealership right next door. Honda used to be Great. Most recently Honda is producing unreliable, dysfunctional vehicles which for me have been a total waste of time.
That’s crazy I’m going threw the same bullshit wit the rattle noise from dash I been literally trying to get this fixed for over 8 months and they still basically don’t know how to fix it I have a 2018 accord sport and I was going to get in the new one but me knowing that you going threw it to with a 2020 is tragic cause I love the new accords but I’m not going threw the bullshit again
Having to pay the bogus destination fee is why a lot of people like to buy a newly used car. There's no way the manufacturer spent $1,000 to ship that to a dealer. Let the first owner overpay for all that crap.
@@4seeableTV I’m an intellectual guy. I do the research. And it’s cool that you don’t want to pay it. But there are trade -offs to everything. You lose manufacturer warranty buying used, and if you tell me you can just buy the extended warranty from a dealer then you are at an even bigger disadvantage. But yea I say capitalism to everyone who talks like you, because attorneys and corporations all get to benefit when we buy things. America is a consumption system. Everyone gets a small share of the pie. Hence your beloved destination fee. It’s just part of the privilege of living in America and having endless options, I’m told recently if you wanna play… you have to pay the tax. That was said to me at a doctor on Monday when they ordered tons of expensive and unnecessary tests. Anyway I’m boring you now. Buy used. I personally can’t stand buying cars that others drove first, after selling cars for 5 years. They come in to filthy. Sneezed in, farted in, used condoms in the trunk, food rotting unread the seats, toddler vomit, and bloody panties. Of course we detail them. People drive them to hell and back. Most of us, any car manager, will tell you we dread having to get inside 3/4 of them. So in our car industry bubble, we are all happy to pay the bogus fee. It is a privilege to have the option.
@@2004cyrus Warranties are tied to the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and transfers with the car until the warranty has expired. So, if you buy a vehicle with an active warranty, it will remain intact until the end of the original warranty period.
@@4seeableTV I think what I said went right over your head, your reply didn’t address what my point was. I already know warranties follow the car. Used car, used meaning it’s been in service shortens the length of the warranty that will be transferred to you. Does that make sense?
@@xXFUEGIxX It never did come. I had to do something so I got my deposit back and ended up buying a 2022 Kia Stinger, which, now that I have had it a few months, is a better choice.
Unfortunately, it makes you check each tire. My previous '16 Acura TLX showed each tire's individual pressure. I miss that feature. But I swear this car is amazing. The more I drive it, the more I love it.
@@a32tl I have the 2020 Touring. Its an awesome car don't get me wrong. My 06 Pilot even tells me which specific tire is flat. Not sure why they couldnt keep it that way. 🤣
@@boomboompao411 Yes, I agree. That was definitely a fail on Honda's part but I love driving my '20 Accord Touring 2.0T so much that I rarely think about that feature.
Dang. Don’t forget to slow down to breathe once in a while. Love how you kept bashing the chrome which is part of the specific design for the Touring model. Review a Sport if you want to black everything out like a base model. There are two places to prop the hood. Neither of which you found.
Door handle area is NOT a storage area.....and shame on Honda for cheaping out on a 39.000 dollar car and putting a lousy prop rod, instead of hood struts! And no panoramic sunroof??at this price??, they are making ALOT OF PROFIT, on each car .This car is way overdue for a complete makeover, so I would be leery of buying one, for fear an all new model will come out soon and make these immediately out of style.
I want to buy this car but I'm pretty sure they'll introduce a newer generation next year. It'll be super shitty driving an older generation. I'll wait one more year and see what happens.
This is exactly my thought process. I know damn well once I buy this one I’ll be unhappy when the new one comes out. I’m waiting till my birthday next year. That way they’ll be out and some kinks will be solved. Also kinda hoping for a plug in model.
The 1.5T engine is great in town and on the highway. The 2.0T in my car is not so great in town. Fortunately for me, most of my driving is highway and I've averaged well over 29 mpgs since I got the car 10 months ago.
You should drive it. My previous car was a '16 Acura TLX Advance with 290 hp. I loved the V6 in that car and thought I would miss it dropping to a less powerful 2.0T engine. I was wrong. The 2.0T engine is an absolute gem and it never feels underpowered to me. It's actually faster than my TLX. The Accord is at least 300lbs lighter and that makes a huge difference. It definitely feels like it's packing more than 252hp. This is coming from someone who swore they'd never go back to a 4 cylinder engine after exclusively driving V6 engines since 2002. I have no regrets.

Have a 2020 2.0T with Ktuner. It is much much faster!!!
Nice car I like that new Gray Pearl color
@7:40 now that it's winter the lack of heated steering wheel in the touring model is a huge let down
1.5 was not meant to be in PSI's but in bar, which equals to 21 PSI
I want an accord just like this one, 2.0t touring in white
Great. Review man 🤙
The only thing I hate is the button shifters. They should have kept the conventional shifters like the other trims
Incredible engine
Needs a panoramic roof, and a premium sound system. (Bose or better)
you can actually adjust the sound system through special settings. bunch of UA-cam videos on it..did it to my accord and made a huge difference in base etc..
@@jaybino3918 yeah when I did that you really feel the 450 watts well and the sound is pretty clear and if can bump!
@@reginaalear Why did you decide against the Camry?
NO, the 2.0L turbo does not need premium!
its a great car, but few extremely critical deal-breakers are missing on this car. those are: 360-cam. awd. pano-roof. and cng or diesel option or extra large battery on hybrid.
Diesel? WTF?
@@brianmanning9271 lol
I’m a little confused what is the trims for all Honda accords 2022 except hybrid. Is this one sport trim ? Or touring? I thought touring didn’t come with a 2.0
I will buy this soon..thx!!
Good luck! 👍🏼
@@WTFCRLT1 I was a BMW fan but nowwwwwadays they are useing so cheap metarials without guarantie..
Thats why I will buy that Beauty because it is Perfect in many ways and Japanese cars are Trustable!! ☝🤗
THX for your answer, keep on!!
I can’t believe those hinges in the trunk lol like come on now
Was this available in any Right hand drive countries? Wasn't sold in the UK and doesn't seem like they were sold in Japan or Australia either :(
Is a wireless charging pad able to automatically connect your android or iPhone to the car's specific OS car interface (android auto/Apple CarPlay)? I drove a newish Hyundai Kona and I guess the Apple CarPlay for my iPhone toc connect to was either Bluetooth or cord, but better interface if connected physically via a cord. Since there's a charging mat, does that count as a physical connection for the Apple CarPlay? Or do you have to use a lightning cable?
Nice car but you know that iPad thing. Ugh. That cupholder looks strange too. Not really dealbreakers but definitely head scratchers.
Yeah man the layout is a little questionable but it definitely works while being really fun to drive! I’d personally probably go with the 2.0t Sport but this touring trim is also a great car.
While those are your issues,Point well taken as well my biggest pet peeve is that push buttons for R-N-D & push button parking breaks👎🏽
@@paullansville I got the 21 Touring couple months ago
Absolutely amazing vehicle
I had some trepidation also about the push buttons
But adapted quickly in a day or so.
Kinda like learning to type.
At first the keyboard is overwhelming, but soon your know where all the letters are and it's a breeze
Same theory here, easily adapted to it. And, actually like it better. Much cleaner in that area, spacious
Got the 21 Touring couple months ago
Beautiful vehicle
And the ipad thing, once its right in front of you, it actually fits right in. For me, it responds quick, no lag time, and the picture is crisp and clear.
If you can swing it, go for this top trim.
Kinda like a luxury class vehicle at a mid size sedan price.
And it has some major kick also. Even in normal Drive mode it can fly off the line
In Sport mode? Buckle up 😊
@@chuckfan1 Glad you like I would still easily pick it over many others tho.👊🏽👍🏽
Those low profile tires are ridiculously impractical.
Premium gas and regular gas, There's No difference, But that's a Nice video
good information thanks
great video
You have to put premium in this ? Man I am so tired of that gas, this was the reason why I wanted this car regular unleaded I wanted to go back to. What is the main difference between the 2.0t sport vs 2.0t touring ?
Idk why he said this car takes premium fuel. Other sources I've checked, including Honda's website, all say regular unleaded gas.
For $39K I'll take the Luxurious Genesis G70!
Love this car but I Just hate you gotta put premium fuel in it. Impressive HP alongside MPG..... I love that part
Not required to put premium
Where did you get that
@@chuckfan1 you're right. I ended up buying this car. Not sure where I read that. But it actually suggest regular octane
What is the range on a full tank of gas?
What kind of gas does this take?
Is the cabin noice loud ?
Honestly, I don't think a full LCD instrument cluster is luxurious. Too many screens looks tacky. And a hydrolic hood not included on a near $40,000 car is confusing. Idk. Good review.
Thanks man and I agree a hydraulic hood would be great especially since the prop rod doesn’t fit right lmao
@@WTFCRLT1 it does fit, on the square hole.
Exsctly
What’s funny is that the previous gen’s touring models has the hydraulic struts. Lol. Honda piss me off sometimes.
@@tr7287 ? The 10th gen touring has the adaptive suspension

I think the civics look better, which look more like the previous accords ironically
I purchased a 2020 Honda Accord in February 2020. This car is a
disaster. I have spent more time at the service dealership with
multiple problems with the vehicle than I have spent with all other cars
in the previous 43 years of driving. Annoying rattle coming from the
dash. Heated seats don't work with remote start. Passenger mirror does
not return to correct position after reverse gear. Car repeatedly does
not recognize connected smartphone. This is my third Accord. First
two were great. 2020 Accord was a huge mistake purchase and has been a
total disappointment and pain in my rear end. I meet with the
dealership again on February 16 to find out if they are going to buy it
back, provide me with a new Accord, or some other solution. If no
solutions then the lawyers get involved. Total pain in the ass. I am
planning on making another new car purchase, this time probably a
Hyundai Sonata at the dealership right next door. Honda used to be
Great. Most recently Honda is producing unreliable, dysfunctional
vehicles which for me have been a total waste of time.
You don’t live near Montgomery do u. My passport has been a pain as well. Selling it back.
Useful video =)
Having to pay the bogus destination fee is why a lot of people like to buy a newly used car. There's no way the manufacturer spent $1,000 to ship that to a dealer. Let the first owner overpay for all that crap.
It’s called capitalism. We have to pay for the privilege of having the opportunity to buy these nice things.
@@2004cyrus Not sure that makes sense, but I'll still buy used to avoid bogus fees.
Does that make sense?
crazy...ordered one on November 6th, 2021. Still not here!!! 11 weeks later.
Did it came? Any issues with the car?

There's no such thing as a non turbo model, unless you're talking about the Hybrid. Both the 1.5 and 2.0 engines are turbo charged.
How do you feel the fuel economy is? How many miles for a full tank?
Asking the same!
40mpg highway, 30 in city
does the TPMS tell you which tire is low pressure or does it still make you guess?? 🤬 #cmonman
Did honda discontinued the sport 2.0t?
No.
Does the the 1.5T sport SE compare?
The 2022 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T is quicker and is fully loaded granted it is the top trim level for the Accord
eek that center infotainment display looks dated....
Does U.S have right hand drive models?
No lmao
Is the sound system any good?
no it sucks
I want to buy this car but I'm pretty sure they'll introduce a newer generation next year. It'll be super shitty driving an older generation. I'll wait one more year and see what happens.
This is exactly my thought process. I know damn well once I buy this one I’ll be unhappy when the new one comes out. I’m waiting till my birthday next year. That way they’ll be out and some kinks will be solved. Also kinda hoping for a plug in model.
Good review but get some original comments. Trying to sound like Raitis Rides
Is the really good on gas around town before I get one
The 1.5T engine is great in town and on the highway. The 2.0T in my car is not so great in town. Fortunately for me, most of my driving is highway and I've averaged well over 29 mpgs since I got the car 10 months ago.
@@a32tl so is 2.0t for further? Would you say a 1.5 is good for like not long rides
I hate the ticking the new engines have! It sounds awful.
i like hyundai design over honda
The hp numbers are bit low... a like 275 or 280 hp wud be surfice...
@@a32tl Plus, you get full torque at 1,500 RPM's. It's much more fun to drive than the old 6 cylinders.
Your camera work is unbearable. It's all over the place, back and forth in and out, wobbling. On top of that, is that a fish eye lens?
It’s just a regular iPhone lens but I’ll work on it lmk if you think the new videos are the same way
