Bubbles work better if you do a layer of topcoat or base on top of the color and add bubbles on top of that. This way you don't have to worry about messing up the color underneath. I find that using regular dishe soap works best. I love the eyeshadow design and hearts 💕
Naio Nails did a video a long time ago about Dragon Nails with a similar bubble technique - she made a mixture that had some cuticle oil in it which helped make bigger bubbles. It was a mix of soap, oil, and water I believe.

Ok I know I’m “double texting” here- but I’m actually a FLOCKaholic and use it on my nails a LOT! (I make puppy paw nails with blobby hard gel as the paw pads/toe-beans and use flocking as the fur around the pads -and they’re one of my favorite designs to do…obviously lol). I rarely buy “flocking powder” because it’s expensive and hard to find (especially in crazy colors)-so I go to the craft shops and find fun types/colors of yarn and turn it into flocking. I used to just snip it by hand into a tiny dish (then keep it in sealed containers like they sell it in)…but I have a dedicated coffee grinder for crafting now, so I just use that. 😂 It’s definitely worth the little bit of extra effort, because they make every kind of yarn you can imagine, which means I have glitter flocking, glowing flocking, neon flocking, textured flocking etc. It seems like it would feel weird wet, or be unhygienic to have fuzzy nails (or that it would come right off) -but nope to all! They wash normally, dry quickly and I’ve never had it chip off even when I’m going at it with my nail scrubbers many times a day. ❤

the process is more important than the end result... I love that - I am not a great DIY nail artist, nor am I fast at it, and lastly, I know I could do things simpler with buying tips or gel stickers... but that 2-3 hours I take to myself and focus only on myself is my fun. :)

Hey Emily!!If you like the polymer clay cut outs design/idea I googled "metal polymer clay cut outs" and there were soooooo many cool ones! Wish I knew how to do acrylic cuz could do some cool stuff! I love your outlook on trying new things! I agree in your take with the acrylic heart design. I also think it would last longer than a stamp as well. Thank you for your informative and fun videos! ❤
Not ashamed to admit that I literally said YES out loud when I saw you had posted a new video! And 36 minutes?! Hells yeah! You are the perfect end to a long day 🖤
I agree with the heart acrylic cut vs gel stamping, it’s definitely a different look and very pretty! Also, someone may have something like these cutters around and not have stamping plates, or may be allergic to gel, etc there’s so many variables
YOU ARE AMAZING in thinking through the process and making it work! Love your thought process and getting to something you can use. Today is the first time I have seen your channel and I am hooked. I can't believe how you can do this type of work with the length of your nails. I used to wear acrylic nails for years but stopped during the pandemic...debating if I want to make the commitment to start up again because I hate how my nails look now. I will keep watching!
Your nails are always amazing but does anyone talk about how beautiful you are? You are gorgeous!!! Actually breathtaking, your husband is so lucky to have someone as sweet as you.
