When doing a 5 petal flower, think of it as a star. Firstly put two petals like a downturned V shape, then two at the sides horizontlly and lastly one on top! Hope this made sense, love your videos Emily!
Yes! This!
Omg thank you so much for this tip!!
That is so helpful. Lmfao. So simple but now I get it. 🖤🖤🌈🌈🙏🙏
Also just using tiny dot's to mark the centre and the end of your petals using like a clock face method. Then join the dot's.
We love an art tutorial momenttttt!
looks like i’m buying temporary tattoos for the first time since i was like 14. i never would’ve thought of using temporary tattoos for nail art, such a good idea!
I use them all the time I usually put a top coat over mine though. Amazon has some awesome ones for very reasonable prices
Finally someone used would've correctly!!!! I get so irritated when I see someone type would of, when actually it's would have!! I'm glad there are still a few smart people left who know how to properly compose a contraction!
@@cyndibarnette8679 So what do you think about as people who have dyslexia? I guess we're not considered as smart due to no fault of our own. lol
@@cyndibarnette8679 how often are you seeing that for you to write an entire paragraph on it under a post about nails lmao
@@reneemondragon7203 dyslexia has nothing to do with that, actually as I am dyslexic and have adhd!
The reverse strawberry is so cute!! I think the biggest issue with using hot glue instead of silicone to make molds is longevity. The hot glue seems like it would probably start to crack and get messed up pretty quick. It seems like a great way to test out molds, though, to see which ones would be worth making in more durable (and expensive) silicone. This video is just full of fun ideas, I'm gonna have to go play with nails now!!🤗
hot glue molds r def just for few times use. but its very easy to do so i dont rlly have a problem w it!
while its true that the silicone in hot glue is not as flexible so it can crack more easily, the good thing is that you can re melt it and don't have to throw away the mold
@@unmichingui omg yess! This is so smart a year ago I was playing around with some hot glue, and I made the mold in a bottle cap and as you can guess it was sooo difficult to take out. Even though I put oil. Anyway after I got it out I had previously put the charm in so taking it out was no problem but it cracked. And I didn’t really like the charm so I ended up throwing it out which was dumb but hmh 🤷♀️
Would aquarium silicone work?
@@ashleyklinder7961 I have used it for little things like this, but it's not very durable either🤷♀️
the temporary tattoo and strawberry mold BLEW me away, I'm so impressed those worked and I 100% have to try them out.
I actually love the globby gushers nail. It looks like abstract crystals or something to me. Like geodes or whatever it's called 😂
Geode nail would be so cute
I honestly have no clue how you manage to make such different designs on each nail and still manage to make them look like a full set! You say you arent artsy enough, but you absolutely are! I love love love how you incorporate so much into one video! Definitely my fav UA-cam channel for claws and relaxing 🥰 keep being you xo
"I feel like I've been getting good luck with art looking the way I want" girl that's just you getting better!!
No wayyyy did the tattoo come off so clearrrrrrr and easy .. my fav was the bubble poly gel . You should do a whole set doing that method , give it another try since you didn’t like it ❤️
I love the reverse strawberries! Really cool idea!
The circle shape of your face cam perfectly crops your hair to look like a long bob, and jussaying, if you ever make the cut, it would look SO CUTE!
The polygel pile-on nail is gorgeous! It looks like a gemstone.
Reverse strawberry nail is definitely my fav!! I also love the French tip funky nail though. It has a lot of potential to look really cool.
The carving out and then applying the colour over the top is exactly how I would have done that nail and how a lot of techs do colour blocking. Looks great , loved the contrast of the pink and black
This is such a fun video! I wonder if you could use a stamper to help apply the temporary tattoo? I learned to do that with water decals from Natalie Mugridge here on YT, and it makes it SO easy to place them! You just cut out the water decal and place it paper side up on a clear stamper, use a brush to wet the paper, then slide it off and the decal is left on the stamper, ready to apply! I'm definitely gonna try it with temporary tattoos now
That would probably help with the wrinkles! Also love Nat mug as well!
Also I wondered, if we can use temporary tattoos on nails, can we use water decals on skin? Unless there's chemicals in them that are only safe on our nails like how you can get contact dermititis from uncured gel Lol
this blue tank top + cotton candy pink hair + white glasses combo is SO CUTE on you!!!
I like them all, but the index finger is my favorite. That turned out so nice.
You must be a natural artist. You do such a good job.
I’m never this early, happy 500k to you gorgeous! Here’s to many more ❤️
Thank you 🥺💞
No one:
Emily: "It kinda just looks like you put a bunch of gushers in your mouth and then like chewed them for like 5 seconds and then spit them out"
.....
Yes, Emily, yes.
The temporary tattoo and strawberry nails were my absolute faves!!! That little charm came out so good!!!!! I have a million glue sticks at home. I want to mold everything 😂😂
Try holding the nail tip with pliers when you put the acrylic on...better grip and doesn't hurt your hand....the charm is just ingenious..so clever 💚💖🍓
They all turned out great love the glob one with the polygel, reminds me of a georock very neat and I would if globed more glitter after all the filing because it’s beautiful and the shine is lovely and not too overpowering
The pink vibesss🌸🍬🎀💕Loveee the video!!
1st nail is EVERYTHING
Without the pinky black nail, the nails actually go together!! My favorite was the strawberry nails because of the charms hack. WE NEED MORE!
that strawberry nail is so cute! I absolutely love it
21 seconds ago? Heck yes! I get to finish off my workday with something wonderful playing on my main screen ♡ Edit: I always put temp tattoos on my nails, haha. Like... almost all of my manicures have a very extra temp tattoo accent nail with some tiny Sailor Moon fanart someone converted into teenie-tiny tattoos! Your nails just came out way too cute and all different yet not. I love these sets with different nail designs!
The polygel nail looks gorgeous. Also love the acrylic middle finger. All the nails turned out great actually.
I’m grabbing my snacks and getting ready💙😋
(The bubble nail kinda reminds me of a jaw breaker)
The mold one by far had me shook, it really work :0 I'm so here for these hacks 😌 You look so cute Emily, I adore your hair 💓💓💓💓
Wow i liked them all but the strawberry was so cool and cute, def my fav! Hope to see more charm making videos
Yay I'm so glad to have a video from you today. My kitty passed away a few days ago and I have been a mess, your videos always make me happy and keep me distracted from life. Hope you, David and the doggies are all good and have a good week Emily! 🥰
Loved this set I love strawberries so the strawberry nail is my favorite
I love the flower and strawberry ones the best 🌺💐🍓🍓
I literally love how long all your videos are. Most UA-camr‘s videos are right at that 10 minute money making mark. 😂
I can actually sit down and enjoy a good video when you post!
Love u girly. 💕💕
LOVED The strawberry nail and how you did the charm for sure will be doing that hack! I also loved the tattoo nail and how that hack turned out as well as your 3D flower art 💙💚
You did real good for it to be your first time doing 3D flowers. 👍👍❤❤❤
I loooove the bubble nail! I’m definitely about to pull my nail stuff out and try that one. Also THANK YOU for the hot glue mold trick!!!!
"Had lots of luck lately". No, honey, that's not luck. That's successful progress and talent.
i think a cool part about doing your own charms also gives you a chance to curve the back so that it can sit on your nails a bit better too.
This was so fun!
I still would love to see you recreate iconic nails from movies or celeb nails. I just saw the Judas music video from Lady Gaga and her nail were so cool.
The clear gel looks really cool! What if you made a 3d human face on your nail for Halloween and used the clear gel as drool? Or even blood maybe if you added red?
Idk if u say this later on but im at the temporary tattoo part of the video and I think a temp tat would totally stick on a glossy top coat! I've seen hacks where people put temp tats on ceramics and thats a shiny surface so I dont see why it'd be different for nails. So cute though I never thought about doing it for nails!
Cute! I love the strawberry one the most!
Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely loved the temporary tattoo demo!! I love to use water slide decals on my nails, but, this is a total game changer!! Thank you for sharing ♥️♥️
i was So happy that these hacks worked! i love it when you are successful. I love the 3d flowers best, they look amazing
I just wanted to say that you look really cute in this video, I mean, you always look cute but in this one you look like the embodiment of Spring, like soft and with pastel colors, just really ethereal overall 💖
Wouldn’t have thought about temporary tattoos, so cool. The strawberry nail is my favorite I think.🥰
The emily cloud watching over the nail art is amazing
Our queen anacrylics tapered nail tip
I do temporary tattoos a lot! If you toss it into a bowl of water for 15 seconds or so it will slide right off the paper. Wet your entire nail with water and you can slide the tattoo into it and have a few seconds of a grace period to move it around and prevent wrinkling!
The index finger turned out AMAZING it’s my fav. 🤩 You definitely nailed all these hacks 🎊🥳🎉
This set of nails together reminds me of the area 15 in Vegas, specifically the Omegamart, The designs are also different but they still somehow fit together
I honestly just tested the tattoo hack and didn't expect it to work... and when I say I was shook! It worked on glossy nails btw, im so buying more small tattoos!
They are allll so good!! Yes, that strawberry charm turned out soooooo good, definitely better than the actual original charm!!
They turned out so psychedelic and cool!!! I always love watching you try new and creative things💕
I love your videos so much. You have truly helped me find my calling and get out of a stagnant area in my life. I would love to see you eventually make your own line of products or nail charms. I would buy everything!
As some one who is transitioning into using acrylic, that first ombre nail tutorial is a great idea 👍
I love your enthusiasm! It looks beautiful. You just gave me the inspiration to practice on the petals!! Let's go!!
Good morning from Scotland Gorgeous, an Emily day is a good day. ❤️ I can't choose, I love the first 4 best. Sending blessings to you and David and all the dogs from Scotland. 🙏🏴🌺
That was so fun to watch. Every time you trust the process it doesn't disappoint. This was very artistic I think my favorite nail is the 🍓 as I am a sucker for that color 💚 green. The flowers🌺 was beautiful too. Keep up the great work Emily👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
this video was so relaxing. love ur personality
Really gotta try doing the acrylic on the tip before glueing
not the havent even colored the strawberry but "let me see what else i can do " cause the mold came out so well. I just cackled lmaooo quality content
Emily looks so so pretty in every clip of every video I honestly cant even deal with how gorgeous she is. I'm non stop looking at her new hair style, her cool earrings, her matching eyeshadow, her piercings, how shes so naturally pretty without makeup my gay side goes wild every time i watch her video i honestly think shes the most gorgeous person ive ever seen. ahaha i get how this would make me sound like such a creep but shes so fascinating to look at, that paired with how well her videos are, the editing, and layout with the designs of her nails and the way she does them makes me love her content so much i think ive gone through about 30 videos in a week
You did those petal honey!!!
Hi Emily,
I've been a fan of yours ever since you posted those super chunky cloud nails 😂 on your insta maybe 4+ years ago? (I still thought they were really cool) Your such a comfort to watch and it's amazing to see how much you've progressed. 💕 Can I just say you look so beautiful without your makeup and with your glasses on! Lots of love from Molly xxx
I love the decals on the wall behind you! Great video as always 💕
love the mold idea!!! 💕
aww the cinnamoroll one was so cute
Oooh I love longer videos🤩
The psychedelic one prob my fave💜.. but I love the strawberry and cinnamon roll one💜
I honestly really like how that "glob" nail turned out. It looks super cool and has a neat effect. I'm sure if you practiced more you would get it to what you like, but I think you did a great job 😀
I LOVE YOUR HAIR OMMGG. ILY 😭
LOVE YOUU congratulations on 500k 💓💓💓
The temporary tattoo one opens up _so_ many opportunities because you can actually buy the transfer paper and make your own!
The oil works to fill the scratches and so it appears smoother, same as when you use primer to fill in your pores so that your makeup appears smoother and I do love that carpet inspired pinky design.
Thats not how it works. If it was just filling in the deeper scratches with material lifted by the sanding then cleaning the nail for the top coat would clean that filler right out. What this is is wet sanding like you would to achieve a mirror finish on a table top or car, just on nails instead. It dose actually result in a smoother finish. The fluid acts as a lubricant and helps move particles away from the sanding area. This keeps the sandpaper(nail file) from getting clogged with large particles that would otherwise cause larger than intended scratches. Typically wet sanding is done with water. I imagine nail techs started using cuticle oil because it was handy, with the added bonus of oil being thicker and therefore probably staying on the nail better. With wet sanding more fluid, more better.
Your so talented 🤗 you did those hacks girl🥰
The strawberry nail is so cute 😍 you did an awesome job x
I can easily see you go into making charm molds with hot glue as a series. Lol. Finding every day objects to make into charms. Also, it would be cool to see more experiments with the layered random gel placements and the acrylic carving you did for the pinky.
What Emily rocks:
Nails
And clear lip gloss
And many more!
i loved the added circle face cam! good detailed editing touch 🤍 also my favorite was the strawberry 🍓 nail!
OMG you look so good in this video!!! 💞💖 Love the nails! You're so creative!🥰
hi emily^^, i have a helpful tip you should try:) so when you do a french tip with poly gel, or acrilic, you can use a nail tip, and put it on the edge and scrape off the ecsess and itll be almost perfect ^^ also, i love your videos
These ideas were pretty cool!! 😍
Congratulations on 500k!!! ❤️
I also have a bunch of acrylics from glitter planet, I love them because they are reasonable in price and the quality is still there. Also I like that the shipping is only $15 all the way from the UK
Those look so good, my favorite has 2b strawberries.but I like them all,
By the way, the instrumental you hear around the 7:25 mark when she speeds through the smaller petals is "Homeless Soul" if anyone is wondering!
THESE ARE ALL SO COOL AND ACTUALLY WORKED REALLY WELL? I wonder if you can make the hot glue mold curved to fit the shape of the nail somehow? Maybe after pulling the charm out if the mold putting the mold in a small container so it flexes and is curved to the nail when the acrylic sets? Idk I will have to figure out some way to do that :0
Yas!!! This make my day so much better
U can use acetone on your acrylic to make it super smooth once your done filing. As long as it’s just a quick swipe it won’t degrade the gel. Kirsty Meekin who I strongly recommend to follow does it all the time.
Yasssssss!!! I’ve been waiting for thissssss!!!
I use dip powder for my nails, but love watching your videos. I'm def gonna try the tattoos lol.
wow this set looks really good!! i love the thumb and the strawberry best!!! i would buy this set from u for sure!!
I definitely wanna try making my own charms 😍😍😲
When you plopped the last nail on the table and said “she be bulky” I fell out 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Wow I’m early! I’ve been so excited for this to come out!❤️
I need to see you make more charms!
I love the pointer! I think it looks so cool. Definitely going to be trying that!
