when you talk down about your interpretation of the artwork you're trying to recreate i feel sooo bad cause girlie, it looks better than anything anyone i know can do. your way of drawing will never look the exact same but it's not as terrible as you think. lowkey wish i could be a voice in your head telling you that you're doing amazing cause id give up before even starting.
Had to add this. I had to move out of my house last summer into a small apartment. I was pretty depressed and exhausted, and wound up just tossing all my nail stuff into piles with my other craft stuff. I filled both of my bedrooms with all this, and am using my couch for a bed.(Its pretty comfy, really) I just didn't have the incentive/motivation to get going on sorting through all of it. Tonight, thanks to you, I dug out a bunch of it. I know there's more hiding in there, and I'll get it. After I sort my nail stuff comes the craft stuff. I'm beginning to feel like I might live again.❤❤❤

The recreation and the original one as well obviously is one of the absolute best nail design sets I've ever seen! So whimsical and lovely... If I was a faerie and I saw a human wearing such a work of art on their nails, I'd definitely make an appearance in their day 🍄🍄🍄
Honestly I'm more impressed that you got a 3D effect without sculpting those mushrooms. You really got a good amount of depth on those. And that's no small trick working with just gel polish. So kudos

Even though the original artist did 3D mushrooms, props to both of them btw, your mushrooms looked 3D as well and I honestly couldn't tell much difference because you made those mushrooms look dimensional with the awesome shading!! Also, I think you should definitely participate in the mushroom event in Nashville...😃.
These mushroom nails are so cute. Very fairy-core. The original looked like the water decals. You did an awesome job painting them. Dont worry about them being 3d because your painting them on is excellent for wearing all the time. They wont snag on stuff. Maybe anyone who enters a look can maybe add a side note that an element is 3d just as a heads up. Its hard to go and watch hundreds maybe thousands of tutorials. Beautiful work ladies❤😊

49:02 I kind of feel like maybe the gold should have been done first all the way down the center of the nail and then the mushrooms and then went over it with the green and a little bit more of the gold... I think that would have been a teeny bit easier to get similar effect as the original nails but other than that... This Shit Slayed So Hard Girl!!! 🫢😱😍 Amazing Job!!! Hi. I'm new here and this was an amazing recreation. Are you able to wear these as press ons once they pop off (using peel off base coat)? I tried and mine didn't fit ... my nails change slightly due to not filing off all the old products (unless I soak off a soak off product, which warps my natural nails so they definitely don't fit). Since I switch out products like underwear, it is definitely my fault! I'm just wondering if you experienced this and had anything you do to wear them if this happened/s to you?

That NCD colour really doesn't transition well from pot to tip it's an entirely different colour I was expecting a beige nude and it came out straight up pink 😳 I've had this happen too and honestly it pissed me off because I paid a stack for a high end brand that didn't deliver now I buy direct from china cut out the middle man and get the EXACT colours I want, no hate on NCD js 😏

I love the music tht plays during sped up clips, it’s so calming yet nice to listen to, it’s not annoyingly loud and actually different music then other UA-camrs. I’ve been watching forever and i just had to get it off my chest lol
I've just been using french tip stickers to tape off the shape. Takes like no time to paint after that. And I also just got some Btartbox french gel x nails. That way I can start out with Frenchies, then do a fun design after the fill.
