- My name is Lochlin Cross from The LOCKERROOM on Edmonton's Best Rock, 100.3 The Bear. This is the unedited interview I had with Angus Young and Brian Johnson of AC/DC in New York in November 2014. I was interviewing them for the Canadian World Album Premiere of the new AC/DC "Rock Or Bust". We chatted about the new album, a 2015 tour, moving forward without Malcolm Young and their thoughts on Twitter.

What a breath of fresh air.Rock legends who are not primadonnas. Genuine, straight talking no bullshit.

God I love these guys. The world would be such a lonely place without AC/DC.

The fact that acdc put out the second best selling album of all time (back in black) after Bon Scott died, and they picked up Brian Johnson is fucking amazing. Several bands have toured into old age, but none compare to ACDC. They are still putting out new music and Angus is still running around on stage, at 60, like a young kid. Watching him do a 17 minute version of "let there be rock", after already playing a 2 hour concert before hand is crazy. I started following this band in the 70's and am amazed at their longevity. Is going to be a sad day when they finally hang up their guitars.
Thomas Fleig they are like bottle of wine or whisky just get better with age so down to earth amazing people great interview i love brian and angus keep up the great work guys i hope there is another album and tour

I love the way Angus talks. And I love his voice he is so soothing to listen to . I could listen to him all the time. On guitar or talking.

Voorhees67 Stevie Young played the rhythm guitar on the Rock Or Bust and I couldn't hear any difference to Malcolm, I guess it's in the blood

I swear Brian and Angus are such humble people. KISS is my fave band, yet when I watch a Paul and Gene interview they never joke or smile, so serious, it's nice to watch relaxed rockstars!
To see Angus sitting there you'd think he couldn't play a whistle.
I like that his whole demeanor and style changes when he is performing.
Nice to hear them talk about Malcolm and his illness. Usually that is something that is private but it was good to hear them being honest and above board about it. Great to see them continuing and making music.

Only a die hard AC/DC fan can appreciate this. And this makes me happy. My 16 year was like, "Awwe" in a sad way because she worships Angus.
Angus just like a superhero.. so calm and humble off stage..very energetic fly around on stage

No big ego Rock Star attitude..just old fashioned down to Earth HUMILITY which a lot of modern Rock bands lack these days!! Its the secret of their longevity!! 💗💗💗
My favorite rock band! That was hilarious about what Brian said about Twitter, "get a life" lol. I agree these men are old school I don't think they like social media. I had a Twitter when it first came out but deleted it a long time ago. I don't even do social media anymore and I'm 24 years old.

Angus had all the weight on his shoulders without Malcolms input. Kudos to Angus for keeping the AC/DC train going. You can tell he is a gutted his brother at the time was ill. A true family business.

God, it doesn't seem like so long ago that this happened to Malcolm. Time flies. Still love these guys! Only been lucky enough to see them once in St. Louis Mo. It was the Hells Bells tour and it was incredible! I would so love to see them once more!

Seen them in Detroit when they were in town this tour. They put on such a great show, I hope to see them do another tour. They're way before my time and I listen to newer stuff, but these guys put most new bands to shame!

They really nice to everybody and everybody loves them
It's not a gun. It's a travel bag to carry passports/cellphones/chargers, etc. But a much more fun thought that he was packing heat!
Unrelated but Brian might just be the rocker I'd most like to sit in a pub in the middle of nowhere and listen to his stories.
My choice as well. Imagine the tales he'd tell.

Angus was born in Scotland but grew up in Australia, but AC/DC would not sound as they do without the influence of other Aussie bands. One that was notable was Billy Thorpe And The Aztecs from around 1968-72, the loudest band around at that time who played the same kind of bluesy rock n roll.

Angus drinks a lot of tea. Agree though dumb insensitive question that one. Obviously there's Bon , Ang mentioned Stevie replaced Mal 4 half ' blow up your vid " tour , well it was cause M.Young was battling alcoholism which sadly probably affected him in the end
