I use Hipshots grip lock 3+3 and the 6 inline locking tuners on all my guitars. I play on ESP Ltd's,Jackson's,B.C Rich's and Epiphone and Hipshot ROCK'S with their Universal Mounting Plate (UMP) where there is no need to drill new mounting holes on the headstock.Hipshot is the BEST choice in my opinion!
Graph-Tech Ratio is a very nice option. I think they are one of the best in the business, so I am surprised they didn’t make the list. I wouldn’t swap them for any of these.
Great job you left out the best locking tuners made..Schaller wtf? They even make the fender tuners. back or top locking, they can't be beat. Sperzel might or might not answer your order request and the back wheel hurts the fingers, its too thin.
Gotah locking tuners are around $80.00 on Amazon. Do you know a better place to buy them. I was also thinking about Sperzel . Kluson tuners moved to Korea. I won't be buying them. They use to have decent tuners. I played a Tele for hours years ago that had Kluson tuners. Never went out of tune one time, even after bending the strings for hours, It was still holding tune perfectly.
Musiclily is awful. They sent me a set and the B & E Strings wouldn't lock and when I came asking for a refund they were like go away. Hipshot is what I use. They are solid, never pull outa tune, even if you leave the guitar sitting forever or it falls over it'll be in tune. Haven't tried any others because they are just too easy to install and cost the same as everything else that may require redrilling.
I tried Planet Waves. They're inconsistent and I also noticed that the installation screws were broken this is common with those they're very soft and weak I broke several on installation but no Gotoh? They're probably the best locking tuners out there for the $ and quality
I owns an Epiphone special w p90/s and the worst tuners on earth. 3l3r setup, ferule only, no threaded nut. I literally just received a purchase of Kaish vintage locking tuners. I really researched the best I could before purchase based on reviews. Question? On Wilkinson or Musicalily's site on Amazon, it repeatedly presented the Kaish brand locking tuners. Other than knowing they can't be worse than factory tuners, for 26$, is this worth the investment. I've looked them over, turned all the heads gratuitously and they seem to carry the same tension. What's your take on Kaish brand.
I know right? I hate these robot voiced videos! They are only marginally better than the ones with just captions. If you can't speak into a microphone, don't make a video which requires speech!
Absolutely no tune locking system keeps any guitar in tune! Waste of money! You will keep having to retune no matter what. In the 1980s Floyd Rose, Kahler and other brands failed with their fancy piece of garbage and Gibsons electro mechanical machineheads are know to break down also . Stick with the conventional manual way . This is a fuckin gimmick. You spend years learning guitar but you don't have the time to tune one?

Gotoh is the premier aftermarket hardware and they have great tuners for half the price of some of your list.
