These look great - Tip is cut you strings to size first , especially if your reusing previously wound ones , less flaff
So these just clamp down on the strings? Do you need to put any turns on the post?
They clamp as you turn them.
These tuners come stock on the JV Modified Strats.
Those are Japanese made, right? Never tried one of those!
@@DarrenLockMusic Many say Japanese Fenders are having better craftsmanship and details than the US-made Fenders nowadays. Worth a try.
Which end of the card board starts with low E?
It's easy to remember that it is the opposite end to the low E on the left handed version of the tuners.
Im qorking on a vintage stlye build so im going to put these on becaus thay lock
Im really wanting this exact vintage tuner but are they available with the 2 pins for modern headstock?
No. You’d have to get the modern style locking variant. Like these: amzn.to/4dave0h
Nice will have a look for some of these
They were quite hard to find in the U.K.. 🫤
Thanks - confirmed these would work for me based on your video.
Glad I could help!
@@DarrenLockMusic Hey what is the diameter of the holes on your strat, 8mm or 10mm??
I don’t know. I didn’t measure them. I didn’t need to! 😘
