I'm going to try to model after I hit the gym! I'm currently using a Macbook Pro so hopefully, I can do this! I downloaded it a few minutes ago and I'm excited to try this design out :D
Nice, thanks. Much needed for this AutoCAD veteran. I wish the set up would have asked if I had any experience in AutoCAD, when answered "yes", directed to this video! ;) About the middle of the video, there was some of the stuff you blew by too quick to see exactly what you were doing. I can see the usefulness of a lot of the changes, but there is also needless work compared to the command line way of doing things (new was less efficient, requiring a few more steps). I remember the first day of my formal AutoCAD training.. being asked to draw something, without any knowledge other than how to start the program. That was saved for the end of semester review.. HUGE difference. I'm sure the same will apply here.. was just frustrated coming into an AutoDESK product, thinking the interface would be more experienced user friendly. (lots of the things you do are the same, just different locations and methods to deploy them, as you pointed out) Thanks Again. cheers
I wish so bad that Autodesk would make All of their other software adleast have the option of an interface type or something of the like. I absolutely hate not having the command line in any computer program... Autocad Being the old CAD king it seems like they would cater to, or ad-least accommodate ole chunks of coal like me. Great video, it is a very common situation I imagine.
Hi Mike,In the drawing you created toward the end of the video, aren't the top view and left view reversed? In other words, the right view actually looks like the left view, and the top view looks like the bottom view. Am I missing something here???
Thankyou so much. Learnt a lot. It was one tutorial that included the original drawing scetch to start with andAllowed me to follow even as a complete novice. Thankyou kindly.
After all this time trying to follow a to follow a to fast pace, this is the best, most informative of the lot, I only wish I had found it earlier, Now what else have you done.
Hello, I have one question about your video. In the drawing image on the right, you have the dimensions applied to a perspective view. I tried to do that in fusion but it doesn't work. Is it possible to do such a thing?. Thanks.
Why did the Fusion team abandon the Autocad command structure when there are literally millions of designers that now have to learn a completely new (and ambiguous) set?
Best comment of the video. If your draw in darkspace I hate you and I'm not going to help you. PREACH with you there buddy dont like it when people draw ing auto cad on black back ground with grid...just nope nope nope
Thank you! I'm an AutoCAD user and an struggling with basic sketching in fusion 360.
Very nice piece of precise information. Thanks.

Not yet. That's a just a snapshot taken from the example.
More like this a little slower and eventually get into some organic shapes. I'm sure you will get a following of Acad folks...
Good tips. Thank you!

Well done, even for someone who uses it daily.
Excelente para Diseno de piezas y dibujo técnico en general

Thanks Ronald!
Looks like AD Inventor.
Dutch projection.
That's good? If so, I agree. haha
where the heck is the command line!!! hahaha (autocad user since '87)
Cute like his voice :p and im serious
I had to uninstall and reinstall F360...what a PITB! the download needs an uninstaller
fusion 360 would be perfect if it was a one time payment! Not everything needs to be a subscription
i Love you
