good info! What about drawing multiple lines consecutively with different (non coincident) points vs chaining a line? Do you have any tricks for that? Esc exits the line tool which is not ideal for quickly drawing consecutive lines. Alternatively double clicking or single click on the green check mark will terminate the line without chaining and without exiting the line tool. I have also mapped a button on my spacemouse to double click to terminate my lines. All of this works ok, but I would prefer to be able to toggle the line tool between chain and no chain somehow by a modifier key or some other method. Also, I wish there was an easy way to just extend a line to be longer but often there is an automatic constraint that gets set that won't allow you to drag the endpoint longer. Something like a modifier key to override or delete the constraining constraint would be handy (albeit with risks) in many situations, or maybe a modifier key to prevent automatic constraints from being set (e.g. drawing a horizontal or perpendicular line without automatically setting that constraint).

Make sure you see a little x appear when your line is touching your circle. When you see that, the end of the line and the circle will be coincident. If you don’t get that to happen you can also place a coincident constraint at the end of the line and the circle.

    • @MechanicalAdvantage

I’m not experiencing the same issues you are. I’ve been using Fusion since 2013. It was an invite only beta. I haven’t had issues with it becoming more unstable. I use it to teach a few hundred people in classes a year. I’m teaching it to 3 sections of high school kids right now. I do custom programming for customers frequently. The paid version and the free version are the exact same code. For instance, if you signed out of Fusion and signed in with a free account, you wouldn’t have to reinstall the software. If you went to a different users computer that had the personal license and they signed out and you signed in with your paid account, it would be the exact same install. The code base it exactly the same.
