Edit: Looked into it and it requires one multiplication per axis (so two, one for X and one for Z) because each tnt doesn't give exactly one block of propulsion so you need to adjust for the propulsion coefficient. I'd love a deep dive into this system! If I had some schematics and technical details, I could make a redstone computer which acts as a fire-control system. I wonder if it's possible to integrate it with my player-radar idea...
@@eternias6535 In theory, yes, a player radar would be a force to be reckoned with. In practice, constructing it would be a nigh-insurmountable feat requiring collaboration of the top minds in redstone engineering and an army of skilled builders. The operating principle is a massive net of hidden player detectors, connected to a central computer via wireless redstone. When chunks near a detector are loaded, the computer receives a signal. The approximate location is then displayed on a screen of redstone lamps for the radar operator to view. With sufficiently dense coverage of player detectors, more advanced intelligence can be gathered. Lone targets can be tracked over time to determine their approximate speed and heading, which can be used to distinguish slow ground troops from rocket-propelled elytra. Targets on the ground can be automatically bombarded using predictive aiming, while air units can be targeted by anti-air flak turrets or intercepted by friendly airmen on elytra.

I’d love a video giving more details on this cannon. I’d especially like to know how it moves entities through unloaded chunks. i didn’t know that was possible.
As best as I can tell, when entities enter stasis in the Redstone Only Chunks, they still have interactive qualities, thus how the payload gets its angle set, its the victim of dozens of explosions that apply acceleration to it, similarly however, things entering said chunks still have their momentum processed for the single tick that sends them in, so they move appropriately deep When that momentum is in the unreasonable values that lead to moving possibly thousands of blocks a tick, you get the murder cannon's final result
I wouldn't say its mass destruction, this is deadly precision destruction! the fact you could target an area of someones log out and have it be just waiting for them to relog is nuts aha totally awesome
Ok, with the first cannon I was very impressed, being able to aim with that was amazing, then you give another cannon better than the old one, and I said, ok, I don't think there would be an improvement, and if yes, the improvement wouldn't be so much; and now you come with this, you are insane!
Yo, there needs to be an ender pearl payload where a player throws in an ender pearl and the cannon launches it with TNT to an exact location, basically /tp. You can put the payload for your base coordinates and then just tp to your base, or 5000 blocks away from it to a mine, realistically anything. Maybe even the option to store multiple ender pearl payloads so your friend can tp you back home after you tp out.

Minecraft amazes me as I have aged throughout the years I have been given the privilege of witnessing human nature as it as evolved in the real world take place in the simulation of the game at a faster pace and smaller scale but with the same traits. We have evolved from the days of simply placing dispensers with arrows to protect our bases, to developing multi-persons manned weapons of mass destruction to target the bases of our enemies from unprecedented distance. And while I love watching the evolution of weapons of war in particular its not just that. Technology, art, transportation, destruction, creation... Its simply amazing how such a simple game given players the ability to create anything they desire in its sandbox resulted in a near prefect replicate of human and technological evolution throughout the years.
You should make a weapon that instead of being a high accuracy weapon will instead bomb an area, you could enter the coordinates and the top few layers of blocks within a certain radius would be destroyed
Hey Cubicmetre! Really impressive cannon. I was wondering if it would be possible to shoot enderpearls with this cannon as well. That would basically make it a teleporter, although the chunk would have to be loaded sadly
From what I can tell enderpearls count as a projectile, like arrows, because they use raycasts to see if they collide with things so they can activate unique effects like the teleportation. This raycast will actually try to load intervening chunks which for a cannon this powerful will just instantly crash your game. We can get away with firing anvils and TnT because they actually won't perform collision checks in unloaded chunks vastly improving their performance.
Have been watching ever video you make for awhile, coolest guy making minecraft videos here. Also helped me when I made my sorter when I had questions. How tf do you pump out such dope concepts consistently dude? Keep it up and I'll keep watching and showing it to friends

If this system can hit any coordinate with single block persicion, could you retrofit it as a enderpearl canon?
what's the use of a pearl cannon if you still need to load the chunks? but yes, you could use similar technology for pearl cannons
@@ATOM-vv3xu you could have some target locations that you chunk load. The benefit over using stasis chambers would be that you don't need to remember to put pearls in the stasis chambers.
yes, though you'd need to make some modifications obv
/tp command in survival
would need to load the chunk on end location for it to properly land, and mods etc. for making ender pearls load chunks would mean the cannon wouldn't work, but that doesn't remove all utility from such an idea.
Every video of this series is another order of magnitude far from what i expected was possible. Bravo Cubic.
This is by far the most impressive redstone weaponry i've seen since the ender dragon instant killing railgun.
This is the mad block game science I live for
I swear im such a casual when playing minecraft, but that makes these videos all the more mindblowing! Absolutely amazing builds and really entertaining videos!
Mindblowing? Oh no... did they get the coordinates of your mind? :D
Count your prayers server, youre about to see destruction on a whole new level...
The 30,000-pound (13,600 kilogram) GBU-57 “bunker buster” -- known officially as a Massive Ordnance Penetrator -- is built by Boeing Co. and could be used to strike deeply buried or other difficult targets, including potential underground nuclear facilities in places such as your minecraft base and possibly your dog
Hello, one Russian streamer improved your gun and made adjustments to the depth of the shot, the strength of the shot, and the width of the funnel by the fact that when firing and setting additional settings, the gun itself reports the distance from each hole and prepares volleys immediately for many holes, he literally launched it all yesterday and hit 5 by 5 holes with a volley, and in addition, he added a counter and a timer

Thank you Cubic, thanks to your channel and this video in particular I created probably the first man-portable raingun (fits in one shulkerbox) that is cheap as dirt (only basic redstone and 7 slime blocks).
Lazy chunks are extremely powerful when used correctly
Imagine being on a server building your base live and all of a sudden you die from an anvil and the nearest person is thousands of blocks away.
Being in the receiving end: No thanks
Being on the sending end: Be prepared to change your underwear from laughing so hard
Also what mods do you use? But if you have a website, can you comment it? @cubicmetre
His mod list is linked in the description
I'd love a deep dive into this system! If I had some schematics and technical details, I could make a redstone computer which acts as a fire-control system. I wonder if it's possible to integrate it with my player-radar idea...
get this man a tutorial
I would love to hear about your player radar, that sounds OP as hell
@@areadenial2343 That is an extremely cool concept. I wonder if one could use a network of lightning rods and channeling tridents to triangulate player's locations more efficiently. That would require outside programs to detect the lightning, and do the calculations, however.
@@eternias6535 i'm not sure if you know about cubicmetre's wireless redstone transmission, but having a central receiver station with transmitters spaced out around it can work as radar, since when a transmitter's chunk is loaded by a player it will show up on the radar screen.
Then you could have the cannon shoot a line along the line where the player has to be to load the transmitter
imagine the terror you could bring by connecting a couple wireless redstone receivers to the inputs
building vanilla No-TP outposts designed to act as a transciever and input firing commands. LOL.
being just out in the field. seeing a guy. Eyeballing his aprox coords based on yours. building a quick lil station in under a minute, and calling in the strike.
The man on the server made Jericho is an improved orbital cannon that fires many shots at once
The design of this thing requires such an intricate understanding of how Minecraft works that it seems so unlikely that it would ever exist, and despite that, you still managed make it.
I’d love a video giving more details on this cannon. I’d especially like to know how it moves entities through unloaded chunks. i didn’t know that was possible.
As best as I can tell, when entities enter stasis in the Redstone Only Chunks, they still have interactive qualities, thus how the payload gets its angle set, its the victim of dozens of explosions that apply acceleration to it, similarly however, things entering said chunks still have their momentum processed for the single tick that sends them in, so they move appropriately deep
When that momentum is in the unreasonable values that lead to moving possibly thousands of blocks a tick, you get the murder cannon's final result
I wouldn't say its mass destruction, this is deadly precision destruction! the fact you could target an area of someones log out and have it be just waiting for them to relog is nuts aha
totally awesome
This is quite possibly the best Minecraft video I've ever seen. Well done.
Ive always been into tnt cannons since ive started playing Minecraft but THIS?? This is freaking overkill and i love it so much
Заквиель построил эту штуку на майншилде и теперь это видео у меня в рекомендациях каждый день
I absolutely love the insane ideas that you can make come to life! Keep up the fabulous work ❤️💯
Ok, with the first cannon I was very impressed, being able to aim with that was amazing, then you give another cannon better than the old one, and I said, ok, I don't think there would be an improvement, and if yes, the improvement wouldn't be so much; and now you come with this, you are insane!
since it requires a player to not be chunk loading it, this is a perfect application for the wireless redstone you've showcased in two other videos
I don’t know much about video game playing but you kids are crazy. I clicked on this video thinking someone made something that looked like a laser out of video game legos. Nope, it’s a real laser in a video game made of blocks like the Atari games. You kids are talented.
mm yes I too love administering divine judgment onto my fellow minecraft players
I genuinely wonder how people make this stuff. Like- how are people able to make such complex things in MC? I could never even dream of such a thing!
There has to be some autism involved, even if I had a thought of this kind of thing I would never be able to have the sheer dedication to make it a thing
Wow! I remember using the 'tunnel' effect (we called it nuking) like 6 years ago when playing factions. It was really useful for carving holes into enemies walls! Can't believe it's being used like this now
Love how minecraft has players chilling, building stuff and also a community trying to develop military grade weaponry
This should go actually big into reccomendeds the production is really good, maybe try shifting the title and thumbnail around a couple times!! Really awesome engineering!!!!
Absolutely make another video on the mechanics of the cannon, I love seeing this new stuff and how they work!
Hello Cubic, this is amazing, brilliant, you did it, a directional cannon you combined with your railgun.
Oh, one thing
Coarse adjustment, rather than course.
Technically both words work here, Coarse is the opposite of Fine, but also it is the primary definition of the course of the shot
@@syrelianit's coarse and fine... And you're thinking of trajectory anyway.
This is beyond insane. I understand the basic design and theory, but to get it to work in practice? And so accurately! Wow, amazing.
Hello. Russian UA-camr Zakviel recreated your canon to use in multiple explosion mode. I think this will be interesting for you. Ah, yes. I had forgotten about that he named it ierihon (rockets from start of movie "Iron man")

You should make a weapon that instead of being a high accuracy weapon will instead bomb an area, you could enter the coordinates and the top few layers of blocks within a certain radius would be destroyed
so you can just carpet bomb any place on a server lol
@@joshrivet6225 so you can just dig a hole of tnt on any server lol. The point is it’s ranged
@@cubicmetre that is sad, but the cannon is still awesome. I will definetely nuke my friends on our next server haha

Have been watching ever video you make for awhile, coolest guy making minecraft videos here. Also helped me when I made my sorter when I had questions. How tf do you pump out such dope concepts consistently dude? Keep it up and I'll keep watching and showing it to friends
he dumpes those out so quickly cuz they aren't new, only not well known to most minecraft players
so basically he is showing off principles that others have thought him (and obv. does not give credit clear enough, since I see a lot of confusion about that in the comment section)
in his first video about cannon tech he mentioned, that the tools he uses to create the cannons (and his knowledge) are provided by the tnt archives though it should be mentioned that the factions and wargear servers also are familiar with what he is showing so far (and more)
idk if he even built this cannon alone (I estimate that he could build this cannon in 3-20h since he knows how to do it before)
@@ATOM-vv3xu super powerful cannons were already a thing, but i didn't see any coordinate aiming cannons before. I think the help he got from the tnt archives was for the equations for the tnt movement.
