I’m gonna incorporate this as a change in my lifestyle. I’m going to put the time and effort it takes to get far in football. This will be a tool used in the journey to keep playing the greatest sport of all time at a high level
I agree about their hands on the front squat but I would highly advise trying lumberjack squats with a press. Especially for younger players. Don't even use a T bar just grab the bar itself. Elbows in, wide feet, ass to ankles. You can safely rep the hell out of it to build power and speed. Also cross face hammer curls extended to eye level will build the shoulder and arm strength they need to hand fight inside and lock up. Typical weakness area on younger players.
Question, so I am a linemen and I have the tightest hips ever. When I squat or get in a three point position my knees go out a bit and my feet want to be angled outward. How do I get my hips to not be so tight so I can have both a better squat form and a better 3 point position
Some squat variations that might help are pause squats in the hole and double bounce squat at the bottom position. Coach by coming to rest on the box squats isn't there more of a likelihood of a lower back injury? If not, please explain what is it about Legend's technique that would prevent that because as the weight increases it seems to be more of when it'll happen vs. 'if'.
There can be. We usually go lighter to prevent this possibility and slowly build up weight as their core stability and strength increase. Just like most exercises, we can't rush into heavyweights. That's where injury can happen. Hope this helps!

Braden Breinholt well it also depends if your on a public or private school team if it’s walk on you can get on and prove yourself hit everyone super low that’s your advantage and be fast, I’m an o lineman and the best d lineman I went against are those that fir your profile, if your big your easier to block if your fast low explosive and have less area to block you can more easily penetrate the line.

My coach makes us do conditioning everyday gassers,laps,bear crawls and I don't wanna lose my strength that I gained during the off season and not put it to work at practice and more importantly games

Eat lots of protein. Limit sugars (candy, lots of carbs etc.) Put yourself at a caloric deficit. Burn more calories than you are taking in.

They're not bad. We prefer to focus on more explosive movements and ones that use more core stability. Thank you for the question!

ZERO run with weight
High knees, drive your hands fast
Power cleans. Focus on fast elbows. Speed bench will also help (can do with a pad or board) Focus on reactive speed in upper body. Hope this helps!
