Even during our cold winter we don't stop living. We enjoy life here 365 days a year. It is really an amazing place to call home.

I'm not sure if the cost of living is affordable I lived there from 2012 until 2019 and every thing is expensive specially the food and the rent and the car insurance MPI just one company they don't have competition ,and the price is super high compared to other province. But the peoples are really friendly but you Can't have friends its hard they just like winnipeger that's the truth and don't forget the harsh winter and windy province and in summer the water steel cold you can't sweem except on birdhill Park artificial lake i don't recommend to live there with time you will be depressed
