There's weeks of stuff in this 15 minutes Jason. With 3 notes the possibilities are 3! (3 factorial 3x2x1 = 6) With 4 notes 4! (4 factorial or 4x3x2x1 = 24), assuming no reuse of notes. 3 seems to be the sweet spot with a limited number of possibilities and no big jumps. Thanks Jason, you’re a stellar teacher and all knowledge if gold.

But with repeats (131,232,323 etc ) 9 possibilities. And then 112,223,331...? even more 🙂
I love how in the midst of explaining the koolness of triangulations , you use an arrangement of the same words in a threes-some rhythm pattern!! Hah!!❤

I love so much to play and work on my triangle with the harmonica! A long time ago, a good harp player and friend of mine told me that he was seeing triangles we he played. At that time I didn't understand what he meant. Years later I discover you throw your harmonica lessons at first and then throw your incredible playing and everything came logical for me! Thank you so much for your help and your passion!

thanks Jason, i see in you a true genius, a remarkable teacher and a great source of motivation, not just for playng harmonica, but for training everyday to reach perfecction in the things you like, allways stiking to the intrensic basics, and building awesome things out of them and the interpreter´s creativity.
As you jammed on the three notes, I was reminded of the drum solo analogy you put forth at your recent clinic in Eugene. Once again, what you did would make a kick-ass three-drum solo.
This is GREAT, exciting stuff you're teaching, and in combination with another of your clinic lessons (Spend 15 minutes per day practicing what you suck at.), my progress lately had been exponential. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Dude, you should win some kind of award for this lesson! The only thing it was lacking was some cartoonish looking arrows following your finger in a triangle pattern on screen! I have always thought (or taught) to relate your playing to something you are familiar with. When a "12 bar" was 1st explained to me (thanks Tom Townsley), as well as 1/2, 1/4, 8th & 16th notes, I was able to "get it" by relating it to a ruler (12 inches, 1/2's, etc.). I knew a guitar player who related his music to colors (although that could have been the result from too many Dead shows!). Relating this triplet pattern with a "triangle" could not be explained any better than this! I can't express how valuable your lessons are to us, & I admire your humbleness. Thanks so much bro!

I am a your student in China . Your videos are always inspired me , but I have one question is how u do that sounds when you breathing out(like a beat). When I do it breathing out the harp are making sound. How you can do it without harp sounds but like a beat ?

@@pirespb if I get it right Jason means counting the bars of the song (think of 12 bar blues). He explains the special sounds (chugging) for example in ua-cam.com/video/A4SYQ5Eztg8/v-deo.html

Do you always use 2hole blow for "G" note? dont you use 3hole blow ? congrats for you marriage!
You can use either they are a both a G on a C harp. But it's easier to get to 2 draw bend or the other lower notes from 2 draw. Less jumping around and better tone... Thanks for the kind wishes!
