Tremendous lesson!!!!! This kind of tricks you cannot find anywhere else in UA-cam. Man, you really share what other teachers keep for themselves. Thank you ❤
Everything in moderation...cigars, caffeine and glissandos! Damn it feels good to be a ninja! Keep on keeping on Mooncat! Breaking down music barriers and life lessons all in a free Friday!
Since I started learning from you, I've become a better listener and better player. I'm not blues royalty yet but I'm working on it. Gliss notes hit a certain frequency that peeks my attention.
Man Ive been chasing harp lessons for a couple years and dunno how I've only just stumbled on your channel! You are the Joe Walsh of the harmonica!! Absolute weapon with such a unique flavour. Love it
Amazing. Didn’t even think the subject would start with the 2 note glissandos. Who knew??!!!! Cannot wait for more. Loved the funny edit of your old video on the subject with the black and white images and old Skool cinema music. Made me laugh.
Hi J.R and all the fellow patreons, just to say sorry.. I got "camera shy" for the zoom video! My loss!! BUT will absolutely 💯 make an appearance on next Zoom opportunity (if one ever arises!). Got to take a leap of faith I guess!! Thanks Jason 😃
I love it J! I often think of my role in the band as adding a bit of flavor or decoration here or there. I play only 20% of the time and get the same pay!
I must have really bad taste because I quite enjoyed the music you created with too much glissando. Also enjoyed the soundtrack to the "aged" black and white lesson you dug up. Hilarious! Thanks for posting. This lesson could be an important missing puzzle piece. Much gratitude for you.
Hey Jason, it is just unsurpassed how You create cosmic music out of almost nothing. 500 years ago they would have burned You😀 I would love to hear what You could create out of 5th position

Been playing harp since I was 18. I am now 77. Don't have the air I used to have. You've shown me that learning never stops. Michael
As usual nothing but top-shelf my friend.
Have an outstanding day Mr. Mooncat🙏🤍🙏
Thank you, Jason 🤝👍👍
Thank you Jason! Always great lessons with you! 👍👍😘😁
Mind and body. Thanks Bro.
Lol, gliss, grupato's, tomatoes, you're still the man, your lessons are great!
🤣 exactly!
Thanks for this Jason. You are a national treasure!
Pure Gold!
I dont think anybody puts as much passion in their instruction videos as you. You always seem to put that extra umff in your videos, thank you!
Thank you soooo much!
Cool... Thanks for sharing this... More ideas and tricks to the bag...
Another great lesson, before l learned what a gliss was, I called it a run,
that's why we need teachers like you to educate beginners like myself.
So much for that 😂 Turns out I was WRONG! The stuff here and in the other vids are actually called "grupatos"!
Nice for me to practice again. Thanks Jason
Mooncat as an all-around harmonica player, one of the GOATS.
Mooncat as an expressive harmonica player,

What? I'm the first? :) I'm so awesome! :)
You're awesome!
Missed you bro !! Loved the vibe..🐦
man, that was great! I even loved the "tasteless" stuff!
I love the way you use glissandos on your version of Hip shake on the feel good funk album. Sure taught me a lot listening to that.
Also, these glisses are very Popperesque (spelling). Love how it falls together with the one endless lick.

Yeah, very cool! Love those trills! What is easier? To start by moving the harp or the head? Looks like, you are using both
I guess I don't think of it much but the head is where it's at as you'll wanna do this with a mic later 💜!
That makes sense! Thank you!
Hey Jason what did you do on the weekend
A couple cigars!
And a gig.
👍👍👍👍
🖐️
