Those overtones really suit this piece well, particularly in the first part. I learned Claire de Lune on piano a while back, and it's such a beautifully expressive piece of music.
WOW! Beautiful and you love playing that music and it shows how in tune you are with your instrument. Thank you, very generous of you and Happy Easter.
Absolutely love this and love that this channel exists! Bells are an important part of our past and healing that has tried to be removed and an important part of our future to come!
Amazing! What a culture, what a luck to spread those beautiful notes high in the air for everyone to hear! I would love to hear this played a bit slower so we could enjoy a stronger harmonic cohesion because of the naturally high tendencies of those bells to ring longer!
That is quite a high-pressure job! He plays music, and everyone in the district will hear it. I wonder if this bell instrument is so unique, yhat it requires a special technique to match the bell sound delay or something. If so, imagine the only way to practice is with something as massive and grand as this 😂
no need for ear protection as the playing cabin is already insulated from the bells. All I have to do is open the window a crack and I can hear at a normal volume :-)
You played this too fast, the sustained sound of the bells remains strong when you play the next notes, causing them all to blur together into a dissonant noise. Apart from that it's a wonderful performance

I love overtones!
This is debuest one yet!
amazing
Gorgeous performance on these beautiful carillons of Debussy's lovely piece! Thank you! 😊😊
One of my favorite instruments, used to play one of the songs that calms me the most. I only wish I knew about the Carillon sooner.

The townspeople were lucky to hear this beautiful peace of music 😊
Hauntingly beautiful
Reminds me of falling metal pipes, but melodical
UDenver carillon sounding incredible as always!
Amazing player beautiful
Fantastic to see this very large "instrument" being played!

Lovely. Thank you.
Love this! :D I can close my eyes and just enjoy listening to the bells, it's such a nice sound!
Beautiful rendition! I'm not a Christian, but this would pull me into church just to listen.
this particular bell tower is on top of a hockey stadium, not a church :-)
Its just too bad every city and town doesn't have a Carillon.

Great stuff Joey! The only other arrangement I’ve heard is David Christensen at UC Riverside.
The arrangement of the carillon looks like Rimmonim or Japanese shrine bells
Hello guys
Albany NY has a clarion…. Its works and played at noon
Do you have to wear ear protection when playing?
no need for ear protection as the playing cabin is already insulated from the bells. All I have to do is open the window a crack and I can hear at a normal volume :-)
May I use this in a art project? You will get all music credits.
Sorry for the late reply, but sure!
@@joeybrinkbells thank you
Xou should play La cathédrale egloutie.
You should play Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen it would sound unreal
Cant replicate physically sensing the bells
7 Years in Tibet 🏔️

These bells have a naturally psychedelic, dissonant, ethereal quality and I like it
Seems like someone named minor 2nd would love it this way
