Man, this is the only video of yours I have seen so far, but you have definitely got a new subscriber. You are straight to the point and not faffing about padding time, which is greatly appreciated. No clickbait either
Been using this phone ever since it came out, almost a year now... And STILL there's new things in this video I hadn't discovered yet and simply blow my mind. Concise, clear, to the point... Bravo! Thank you!
Some of the stuff the so called experts have no idea about. Appreciate the ones that actually push technology forward through proper assessment and exceptional advisory. Awesome stuff
Thank you for the excellent video as always. Might be a stupid question but once you add an object to an existing photo through the AI feature how do you save the file?
Great question! If you rotate the image slightly or remove an object after adding one it will give you the option to save it. If you rotate too far just go back in afterwards and rotate it back. Hope that helps.
Thank you for this information, it is very valuable. About 8k video recording, in the 'advanced video options' section, does it allow you to select 'high bit rate videos'? Another question, are you going to test video recording in the mcpro24fps or Motioncam app with the s24 ultra?
Great video, thanks for all the great information. One question though. What app are you using for your gallery? Mine looks completely different. My new S24 Ultra has been defaulted automatically to google photos because that's all I've ever used. I found and opened the Gallery app that was on my phone but it still doesn't look like yours and neither will let me make the changes to the photos or videos like you are doing here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I love the case , give me a link for that one please, BTW half of this tips I found by mistake while playing with my s24ultra as for the rest of the tips , thank you.
Would you recommend to buy this one or wait for the new one to come out next year? I have heard about camera- and ai improvements for next gen. What do you think?
Amazing tips. Thanks so much. One question. At 5m 55sec you turn on auto framing mode and have a 2x zoom option. My (Australian model) S24 Ultra does not have this 2x option (just 0.6x and 1x). I've tried changing all sorts of settings - and cannot get 2x to appear. Is there a trick to getting this trick to work? 🙂
I see that you are also using a Pitaka case. Still waiting for my black case for my S24 Ultra. $65 for a case is expensive but I really like how the titanium frames are showing off and that there is no lip at the mid bottom.
Cool tips. My raggedy insurance only "upgraded" me from the note 10 plus to the s21 u ( without a pen_ 🙄 ) last year, but I'll check and see if any of this applies.
@JohnathanCasey Extremely comprehensive demonstration and tutorial. You really showed how much this phone is capable of. I struggle to use this in lower lighting and dealing with a grain or lack of sharpness. It will actually look like it was filmed with a bad quality camera. It was shot in pro video mode, and the most appropriate ISO. I would love to know how to work indoors l had studio lights on but bouncing of the walls. Lacks the quality, looks grainy and soft. l would love to see how to shoot videos without blasting so much light.
Great video. Question though, in the section Add anything or anybody to a Photo... after adding, what then? I don't see a save option and Generate doesn't light up... what am I missing?
Yeah, I should have explained it further. I'm sorry about that. You can do it one of 2 ways. First way is to add your subject and then remove something from the photo where you'll be placing the new object. The second way is to slightly rotate the image then save. If the image isn't straight or you're not happy with the composition you can go back in and rotate it back the other way to fix it.
Been 4 months with s24ultra and after watch😮ing this video, I've only scratched the surface of what all this phone can do.... 🤦🏿♂️ .. I shall save this for reference. ❤
Hi Jonathan. Stupid question: I noticed in my camera app something that happened at 1:57 in your video... did you notice in the top left corner of your screen some white details "blinking"? Right above settings and flash button? Don't even know how to explain hahaha. Since I came from a S22 with screen issues, I think its a trauma. Its only software bug, right?
@@OT4Tech I just noticed that the crop in Pro Video mode at 120fps is the same amount as turning on EIS. Too bad it doesn't actually stabilize it as much as EIS though 🤦🏾♂️
I have seen other videos too, but remember your one if needed and put it on the bookmark. when you talk, don't talk emotionally with a louder voice, but a little slowly with a softer voice, because first, we have to understand it, then digest it, if go faster neither will happen who are not native speakers. Thanks for the video watch the other one that you suggested to see this one, then the tips and tricks.
Samsung needs to let us reduce or even turn off image sharpening for videos. Whats crazy is that 8k video on this phone (at least the main sensor) looks great because there isn't any image sharpening applied like in 4k. It looks a little softer (film like) yet more detailed.
I got a really great video 1080p resolution in Snapchat using the Selfie camera (12mp, PDAF). But due to the Snapchat 3D filter i used, the resulting video saved in Gallery was 12fps. 😮 Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and the heavy processing lowered the fps of the final file?? I think Snapchat has some explaining to do.
Any info on low light pics? Came from an s9 which took great low light shots just normally (not in night mode) & I'm taking same low light pics on s24 ultra & they don't look half as good as far as naturally illuminating low light shots like my s9 did. Tried night mode too even tho I didn't need it on s9 & it's still not giving me what I'm looking for. Suggestions?
Enjoying your video and messing around with adding objects to a photo as you demonstrated.. but I can't for the life of me figure out how to save it afterwards! The generate button isn't active..

In the gym, the phone does not seem to handle the lighting correctly. Like if im recording myself lifting weights, the muscle detail disappeares, and if there is a light above me the video comes out kinda washed out. Any of you gym goers got any tips? I have messed with the settings and cant figure it out

The only thing about using Pro Video mode for 4K120 is there is a slight crop on the main sensor where there isn't one in Slow Motion mode.
I noticed that as well. I'm not sure for the reasoning but I can reach out to Samsung to find out.
