  • We have a look at he fantastic Celtic Chariot from Victrix. A few suprises in there at how modular the kit is, and the unexpectedly cool crew figures they provide.

These presentations by Modelling for Advantage are very enjoyable to watch.
Many unboxing videos are rather dull plods but these guys are very entertaining as well as informative and knowledgeable.
This kit is pretty excellent by the way.

Excellent review, Chaps. I just finished the Gaullic Cavalry about a month ago and the Victrix sculpts are 10/10. The instructions...well...they're there. These will be my next ancient purchase for sure. And, great waffle on the history of the chariot and the sacrifices to Baal. Enjoyed it a lot.

Very nice - I've been meaning to build my pack of these but other projects are taking up my time. Very good unboxing vid once again, nice history and silliness, my preferred mix! Looking forward to seeing these built and on the battlefield.

Cool looking kit. I really like Victrix models. Great detail and generally a lot of bits on the sprues. It stinks that they are so bloody expensive to ship to the states.

Lovely unboxing guys, always love the history chats with it. I suppose chariots were also a statement of wealth as it would take various rescources to build that could have been used fo other things.
Interesting you mentioned about various attitudes. When the rifle became a weapon there was a debate over if it was murder as you could now pick who you were shooting at opposed to "in the genral direction"

The newer Victrix and Perry's plastics, at the top of their game.

I think you can take Boudicca as a hero on Chariot.

Love the Victrix kits and REALLY want this one. However, they’re very large (found this out the hard way with the Early Imperial Roman Generals kit). They don’t size very well with the Warlord stuff. BUT, they’re such good looking kits. How does this size with the Gauls/Celts from Warlord? Thanks for the unboxing (unbagging). Fantastic as always!

They are definitely a bit bigger than the warlord ones, but it is not as extreme as with the Imperial Romans. Warlord's Caesarean Roman models are a bit bigger than their imperial ones.
