Good interview. I like Peter. He’s always one of the first likes I get on social media posts. Battle reports, pictures, and the like. Just seems very down to earth.
Terrific interview, Restless Kaiser. I hadn't wargamed for close to 40yrs but Battlefront's superb models and accessories got me hooked again. Peter's passion for wargaming and having high quality models is inspiring. Thanks guys. Can't wait for the Early War release next year.
Another great interview. Battlefront has a great outlook on customer service and providing products to meet the needs of both consumers and retailers. Wishing them many more years of success!
No mention of Early War during other smaller campaigns? I'd like to see something for the Balkans, Norway, the Mediterranean, and of course, North Africa.
Nice to finally hear a release date for checkpoint charlie. Sad to hear the Pacific is next year but another date is good. IDF becoming its own book is nice since it opens up more space in the new "oil wars" book for places like egypt and other middle east countries. Would like to hear about the oil wars 2 book though, Iran is one of my favorite forces to play.
Great interview, loved the last video of you 2 last year! Cant wait for early war and season 2 of clash of steel! Blitzkrieg, its going to be glorious!
He’s so right about dynamic points. If done right, it should reduce the big advantages of math hammering as well cut down on the meta effects where everyone is always playing the same armies. Takes a couple iterations to get it right though.
So what's going on with the USMC box ? There was two army deals for WW3 Team Yankee Americans and they had a Desert Storm box. Nothing has been talked about and all the pre-orders are on the site.
The Merkava 3 is a 1990's tank, it's an equivalent to the Leopard 2A5, M1A1, Challenger, Leclerc and T-80. I used to use them a lot on the old Steel Panthers II computer game.
Say hello to Peter for me! He probably remembers how he sent the first sprues with a model of the T-80 tank to Russia! And I was the first to assemble this model and was infinitely grateful to Peter! I wish him health and success in his work!
Good interview. An idea would be to also post the v4 rulebook online for everyone to freely access and download so that you do not need to buy the starter set to understand if you like the game or not.
I'm hyped for the Clash Of Steel expansions, but also interesting stuff coming for Flames too. I can see Battlefront taking a good wedge of my wallet over the coming year.
I'm also looking forward to the renewed website. The website at this moment is maybe old, but the information you find there is massive in my opinion. Separating the shop and the hobby part is a good idea I think.
The Hotchkiss is about 1.5 Puma wheel smaller and a bit thinner, printed a platoon a while back for an early war French force. Edit: hoping for some Renault ZT 2 and ZT 3 minis for the French.
I like Peter, listening to him makes the company look so much better. I'd battlefront perfect, surely not, supply over here and the information on supply can be bad, but I get the impression they want to improve, unlike others (*looks at GW*). The idea of buying a book and getting the code for the digital bits is good, nothing new but I like it. What I dislike is, that I need to re-buy everything I own on the forces website, to get the new content. Again, this is not unfair, but I feel like I have to pay twice, a discount would have been great.
Great video and very informative. I was hoping they might do a pure infantry based starter with 2 opposing mech companies but I guess with 10 IFV and 16+ infantry sprues it would have pushed the price up too high and eaten into the sales of the Mech Infantry army boxes. I don't actually need the extra tanks but even just for the infantry component, the new starter is a lot cheaper than buying the infantry and IFVs as stand-alones.
I was hoping Pacific was closer... oh well more time to save i suppose. I also really hope we get the AC (Australian Cruiser) Series AC I, ACIII and ACIV maybe out of World of tanls
Still no US Army miniatures in shirtsleeves. Everywhere I look they are all in field jackets or long coats. :( I'll still keep looking, not giving up! I will make my 37th Division FOW army yet! :)
@@ModellingforAdvantage Im not sure why but I prefer it because of the imperfect surface. replicates a cast metal hull. Great for hobby side of it but I can see how its a pain if you play alot with the minitures!
Are the mentioned german motorcycles made in plastic? Any hopes for soviet bikes? Maybe early soviet tanks like t35, t28, bt7, t26, t50, zis30 in plastic? Plastic cavalry, limbers, tachankas, or horse wagons? A man can dream.
Ooh, looking forward to the new IDF. Might proxy Merkava 3 with the mark 2s I already have, but the other stuff will be cool, I'm sure. Apaches, for example.
Good interview. I like Peter. He’s always one of the first likes I get on social media posts. Battle reports, pictures, and the like. Just seems very down to earth.
Agree totally and he is a gamer and collector and it shines through with his enthusiasm
Peter is a great chap - so pleased they are willing to share so much about the releases rather than keep it all under their hats.
The fact that Peter makes time to share this information is really defining. Good times ahead methinks!

These are always great interviews with the Battlefront guys - so useful for us gamers.
Its great that Pete comes prepared for this and is willing to share so much.
Some good information. Merkava III... great. Was fun to watch.
Cheers.
Good video but I really wish you would have zoomed in on the models as you spoke of them.
Ok....three releases of Class of Steel as three different hypothetical WWIII events is brilliant! Bravo and thanks.
Our pleasure!

Snap I'm sick of waiting for early war I've lost faith in battlefront
Love these interviews! Happy with all the things mentioned on the roadmap. 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it!
So pleased I found this channel. Its very relaxing. Cool models and the lore is world war trivia
Thank you. Glad you like it.
Nice to finally hear a release date for checkpoint charlie.

I guess they are developing so many lines, it is hard to progress them all.
No Aussies for Pacific?

Wow so much coming the next 12 months!
Yeah, lots to look forward to.
Superb and looking forward to getting my hands on many of these tanks and the early war tanks and infantry
Exciting times for FOW! I need to make sure I squirrel away enough of my hobby budget for all of these releases.
Sooooo true.
Love your videos. Love you Peter. And can't wait to see more goodies
Loads of great stuff coming.
Fantastic interview. Entertaining and informative. Nice job Kaiser. 😊
Cheers fella.

Simunovich is very open in his thinking, which makes for great content!
Yeah, he comes to the interview with a big list of what he is willing to tell us.
Great interview and happy to hear about the digital content that comes with the new books :)
Yeah, forces website is great.

Cant wait for these tanks
Me too
I spotted a Charioteer, a Tank Destoryer on Cromwell Chassis, which the British Army retired in 1959 and the Jordanian Army used in 1967.
I think that might be right. Can't remember exactly what was there.

Definitely.

Yeah makes sense. The website is awesome, but it is a bit slow too. Soo much good stuff.

IDF … Thank you 🙏🏻 42:22
No shorts in Burma mate. All trousers and shirts!
Personally devastated by that news :(
@@ModellingforAdvantage yeah … I’m still trying to find some 8th Army Infantry myself… I’m down to needing just 1 more motor platoon

Yeah, their 2 player starter sets are always fantastic value.
I'm disappointed that the Late War Italian Front book is unmentioned. I was really looking forward to the German Pasta

I know exactly how you feel.
A surprise. But a welcome one.
Hope it was useful.
Please take a photo of the sprue with a model of the T-10 tank, I really want to look at the new model!!!

Not my cup of tea, but the new kits are much cleaner than the ones I remember form days gone by.
