Actually, you're wrong. The greedy fools _will_ have your money, or they will come to your home or place of business and either take it from you or kill you.

Rand Paul has common sense where as most don’t.
The US would not have national debt if the super rich even averaged paying 20% on their incomes. Maybe a flat tax on income and wealth accumulation would be a smarter idea in a just society, but we will never have such a state.

If all of the people in this country don't start calling your elected officials and demand all this spending stop we will not have a country to take back in 2024. Just the interest on the debt is 40% of all federal tax revenue now.
@eric kanter that's just a foolish statement. We can stop it and have 100% of the National debt paid off in 12 to 15 years.
All it takes is freezing government spending at current levels. Most people don't realize 60% of Government spending was set up as mandatory spending by Bill Clinton. Mandatory spending gets a 7% increase every year regardless of what congress does. This must stop now. Programs like CHIP which was replaced by Obama care still have a 100 billion-dollar-a-year budget. And it gets a 7% increase every year. We have hundreds of programs that don't serve a purpose other than taking up tax dollars.
We can fix it but the people will need to get serious and push Congress to do it. And stop expecting the Gov to take care of you.
They'll nod their heads and reply with sweet talk, but then keep right on going with the spending. Best way to fix it is to replace them. That's what Kentucky did with Rand Paul's spot. Now they need to replace Mitch McConnel. There are many others that need to be replaced, for example Susan Collins of Maine and John Cornyn of Texas. If Rand Paul can get elected, so too can other states elected leaders of like mind.
A country to take back from whom, the phrase take back our country sounds powerful but what does it really mean?
@william woods that's not a easy question to answer because we don't yet know the outcome. But at this point the country isn't run by the citizens or its elected politicians. The WHO has more control in the US than the Federal Government. A small handful of very wealthy people are controlling everything from local governments to foreign policy. So the best answer is to take it back from tyranny. That is where we are. If you think about it you realize we no longer follow the US Constitution. Not 1 amendment is upheld anymore. We have slid down the slippery slope.
