Just ordered 5 latches I am just going to change the mod a little and put 2 latches on each of my 2 long doors for hopefully a little better weather seal.
Yes, be sure to measure accurately. A video exists that provides the precise measurements needed to create a template. Which video did I watch that in? I wish I knew. I'll send it your way if I locate it.

The back part edge should be touching the black frame of the compartment door. So use the picture of the one I did on the video. That one was perfect.
