Word to the wise. Since both products provide plenty of keys with each system, we keep one hidden on the trailer and in our truck safe. Do not depend on the batteries or the keypad 100%. One day your keypad may not work. Ask us how we know. In addition, we have found issues with the key fob.....you can place the key fob in your pocket or hoodie and accidentally press a button....hopefully it is not the unlock button....again ask us how we know. +1 for Latch-It

Great job on the video! I like that RV Lock has refurbished units. I’ve looked at these before and honestly the cost of new ones doesn’t justify the convenience for me. I’m not spending 200 bucks on a door latch. That’s just me.

Just a heads up, the latch it uses a cover that used to be like the one on the rvlock which they changed because it wears out. The new cover on rv lock is now even better and they guarantee it for life. I've had my rv lock for over 4 years now with no issues and i love their lifetime warranty.

Great video, only problem I’m having is that i have some issues with latch it and I can’t get ahold of anyone to help with my issue! Several emails, texts, they don’t have a phone system!!!

Can other RV keys open this lock?
If they had the same keycode it could be possible yes. Far less likely though than the manufacturer's locks that are fairly common keycode.
What happens if the batteries go dead, how do you get in?
The door beeps and gives a warning tone when batteries are low. Additionally, I’d recommend always keeping a physical key in the tow vehicle as a backup.
Use the key
