I agree. It is more accurate than other options and is so convenient to be able to quickly check or get an alert when it drops below your set threshold.
The Infrared Thermometer, use it to check the temperature of wheel bearings at your trailer's wheel hubs. If one set of bearings is running extra hot, you know it's an early sign of trouble. Enjoyed the video, good hacks!
I have a double sink - each side small and narrow ... I found a free-standing wire shelf at a dollar store that stands in one sink. I cover it with a silicone mat for extra counter space when needed . My similar little space heater died early on - no idea why. Glad to learn about the transfer pump...hefting 5 gal jugs getting harder. I use indoor-outdoor remote thermometers - including extra units to monitor my freezer and fridge temps. Glad to hear about the Mopeka products.
I can add a few, the AP retractable sunroof blind is well made and can find a $50 or under and can be installed in 5 minutes. I feel a FITT pro flat hose is great and under $50, durable and much easier to store.
What an excellent video! We're already online buying some of your recommendations! I love the water transfer pump, and the water bottle pump. May I ask about the small heater please... what are your experiences with it? Does it work enough for the living area of a fifth wheel do you think? Thank you - I'm now about to watch your other videos now 🙂
Thanks so much for watching and for commenting. I love the little space heater. It works great in the main living area and I have another one in the bedroom. It gives out surprising heat for such a small, efficient machine. Glad you're finding some good ideas! I really appreciate your kind words.
Do you happen to have a Glacier Bay RV? I bought a Glacier Bay 225RS about a year ago, and I can find *no* supporting documentation such as owner's manuals anywhere.
The Mopeka sensor with all of its flaws has to be one of the best RV "upgrade" purchase. To see without being there when its zero degrees is gold!

Good to know. Thanks for watching and sharing that recommendation.
Great video. I grew up in Flint MI. We are fulltime and go back to MI for the summer.
That’s a great time to be here! Did you go to Crossroads village often?
@@MIoffGridAdventures sometimes we usually stay in the bay city area and up. We will be there July- Sept this year.
@@MIoffGridAdventures would love to see your off grid property someday.
Thank you 😊

Can you fix the link for the vent magnets? It takes us to the door magnets. Great video. Thanks!
Great catch, sorry about that. It’s been corrected.
