I think what makes the Andross boss fights most disturbing for me is that he wasn't always this way: He was at one time a normal anthropomorphic primate, of presumably average height. Then, he came to Venom and started experimenting on himself, and just the thought of what he must have done to himself to turn himself into this gigantic abomination makes my skin crawl.

Honestly the two big things Star Fox Adventures got wrong for me is the fact that you only have 3 different combos with your staff which is just lame and the fact you don’t ever get to actually fight General Scales because to me he’s an awesome villain. But other than that this game is not as bad as everyone likes to say it is.
Andross: Only I have the brains to rule Lylat! Fox: So Andross, you show your true form! Andross: Well in hindsight, at least I do have a brain than all of Lylat!
Starfox adventures Pros Decent storytelling adventure Graphics are superb, shows more facial expressions Star Fox gradually learns moves without a use of his blaster Boss battles and tests were extremely well played Cons The play through was basically like Legend of Zelda. Repeated discoveries (very annoying) There is some glitches that comes and goes out of place. Essentially the main theme was placed aside and did adventures instead of shooting starships. (Everyone wasn’t entirely pleased with it) My final say to this. Andross looked better than Star Fox Zero. It looked degraded in that game than the adventures one. Andross made a clever use of becoming a Krazoa spirit deity. Furthermore, we get to have an enemy not just Wolf. General Scales was very interesting character.
Was surprised there wasn't a "only I have the brains to rule Lylat" phase in Zero's Andross fight but that fight really pissed me off so I was glad it didn't keep going 😂
DarkLink1996 remember adventures was originally gonna be on the n64 as a game called dinosaur planet but shigaroo was like hey u got a fox and we got a fox so let's just stop making this game for this console and make it in short time for the GC as a launch title

They always made the final bosses in the N64 games creepy Mario 64 bowser Zelda Oot Ganon Kirby 64 02 boss Star fox 64 Andross Zelda Majora mask, Majora boss fight
Tyler Falcon Well it is obvious that the giant face portion is just an outer shell made in presumably his image, he is a mad genius he could of ordered a few robots to build the Giant Face and hands. This is also a Universe where a Fox, Bird, Toad, and Hare are flying around in small space fighters, ultimately does real world logic need to be applied to this? XD
No seriously SNES version played better than all the others had better sound and was ground breaking at the time, the N64 version didnt seem as special as this.
Rare was incredible at getting the best graphics out Nintendo hardware back in the day. Starfox Adventures was one of the earliest GCN games and would remain one of the best looking games on the system (including the Wii). Andross in particular graphically looked more impressive in Adventures than he did in Starfox Zero for the WiiU - absolutely incredible (even if you can tell his implementation was unfinished, with clearly missing/stiff animations during the actual fight).

TheMegGmer *_its because its only there if you complete it in the hardest difficulty_* False. The cube appeared on all difficulty levels. The Andross battle on the SNES version was the same regardless of difficulty; shoot out the eyes, then the cube is revealed. Destroy the cube.
Lylat Wars on N64 sounds different than my version like it's remixed. I think it sounds better on mine. Games actually look awesome. Although I hadn't got interest getting any more Nintendo consoles sadly. Great video btw. Got me interested in newer Star Fox games now.

It's too bad that it played like a kiddie game, though. At least Tricky made himself useful at times.
For all the flack Adventures got seeing Andross at the end was such a suprise at the end for me.
yeah, a terrible surprise
James2t3 I felt it was just last minute for them. Just throw in Andross. On another note I did like his design.
+Joshua Morin (Jotaro) he kinda looks better than the WiiU one actually
James2t3 I like how the Wii U one looks like his N64 version but for faves I prefer the N64 cause fuck that cape.
I think Andross it the weirdest videogame character I've ever seen
same...
Silver mask that ended up being a monkey
He wasnt to me I could face the boss on my own as a kid (3ds🔵🎮🛩:)
The design of Fox McCloud on StarFox Adventure is always going to be my favorite
Starfox adventures
Pros
Decent storytelling adventure
Graphics are superb, shows more facial expressions
Star Fox gradually learns moves without a use of his blaster
Boss battles and tests were extremely well played
Cons
The play through was basically like Legend of Zelda.
Repeated discoveries (very annoying)
There is some glitches that comes and goes out of place.
Essentially the main theme was placed aside and did adventures instead of shooting starships. (Everyone wasn’t entirely pleased with it)
My final say to this. Andross looked better than Star Fox Zero. It looked degraded in that game than the adventures one.
Andross made a clever use of becoming a Krazoa spirit deity. Furthermore, we get to have an enemy not just Wolf. General Scales was very interesting character.
I really liked startfox adventures if im being honest and i wouldnt mind another game in this style lol but make it more like its own thing
General scales is my favorite, looks like a kremling
adventures and StarFox 64 are absolutely my fav games of the series, besides their finals battles are both epic as fuck
I have starlink warframe d2 (🔵🛩🎮:)
Was surprised there wasn't a "only I have the brains to rule Lylat" phase in Zero's Andross fight but that fight really pissed me off so I was glad it didn't keep going 😂
I remember the n64 one when I was like 6 it gave me nightmares XD
You arent the only one having those problems lol
That's n64 and 3ds is apparently suppose to be a remake of snes version (🔵🛩🎮:)
16:41 it never looked so badass to dodge lasers with a somersault like that I'm so glad to have watched this
All these years later Starfox Adventures still looks impressive
He looked better in Star Fox Adventures than in Zero.
The model looked good, but the animations were terrible. And the SFX are all awful stock sounds.
DarkLink1996 remember adventures was originally gonna be on the n64 as a game called dinosaur planet but shigaroo was like hey u got a fox and we got a fox so let's just stop making this game for this console and make it in short time for the GC as a launch title
@@CrazyAsylum And so came the last nail in the coffin between Rareware and Nintendo
@@DarkLink1996. bro the snes its just a paper
Assault was still a great game without andross
your right
My personal favorite.
an amazing game :) I still play it with my little brother haha XD
He kinda was in assualt. I mean andrew had that giant space ship that functioned the same as an adross boss battle. He wasn't actually there, but it was kinda like he was.
It was great
Was I the only person who got nightmares from 64's andross?
no
maybe
Idk why people find him so creepy, the only thing i dind gross about him is that wierd flesh beside hes mouth
Back k then it was creepy....in an awesome way
wibblew0bble yes
12:04 When you finally release that poo you've been holding all day long.
You explode?
@@DiagonalTanooki yep
N64 was the best game by far. Best gameplay, best voices.
n64 was really creepy
+I am secretly a bar of soap I always remember dreading the boss fight when I was younger.
It wasnt to me n64 was the best system ever got remakes of certain games on (3ds🛩🎮🔵:)
I do know mojra mask was like really dark for a kids game :)
They always made the final bosses in the N64 games creepy
Mario 64 bowser
Zelda Oot Ganon
Kirby 64 02 boss
Star fox 64 Andross
Zelda Majora mask, Majora boss fight
I still wanna know how androdd became a giant head on the first place
+James Whitmire Vile experiments on Venom. Mhm
+James Whitmire I was thinking that same thing. The SNES Andross battle makes no sense to me either
+James Whitmire Probably because its a space shooter and putting an enemy on the ground isn't the best idea.
+Cho Tengen Toppa Nep Nep
As a person who already knows that.
It doesn't explain enough.
XD
SNES version was by far the best of the lot simply because it was ground breaking and had far more impact than the later versions.
i know it was awsome
Sarcasm? Maybe, just maybe
No seriously SNES version played better than all the others had better sound and was ground breaking at the time, the N64 version didnt seem as special as this.
Well I never said anything about the N64 version.
but the 3DS version was my favorite. :3
I found it creepy. Sure, it was groundbreaking for it’s time, but i don’t see how i’m not creeped out by it on super smashy bros.
Other starfox Andross: Monke
SNES starfox: la pequeña araña en un nido se subio
Also SNES Starfox: OBEY THE WALRUS!!!
12:04 PLEASE tell me someone's made a reaction GIF out of that.
Krazoa: badass
N64: so epic
Zero: Perfection
SNES: a paper
Everyone seems to hate the Zero battle. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Honestly that was one of the few bosses in the game that I actually really liked. Best Andross fight in the series in my opinion.
Yeah, I likey
Yeah I kinda liked Fox's new design for the game
I say it's one of the easiest, I struggled a lot on the other ones
I Liked It Honestly.
I am the only one that thinks that andross looks like a demonic furby??
+WeesGaming so basically just a normal furby?
EXACTLY!!
This is DoraeZach's millenium Furby, Kah-Dah, writing this on his account. I'd like to clarify that, Kah (Furbish for "Me"), as well as the rest of my people, are not demons. I am good friends with DoraeZach and he is good friends with me.

Andross was before mama.

I don't know why but I actually started to shed a tear when I first played this part. And to this day I still start to cry a bit
But darn it all! When I was younger this part was hard for me (and it caught me off gaurd)! Now a days it's actually easier than it looks back then >.> Still compared to it's future current counterpart Star Fox Zero I loved both games.
I really enjoyed the Andross battle in Starfox Zero. Took me a few tries to beat him and now I can do it without dying.
andross laugh from SF64 scared me as a kid
yeah but not anymore
+EnclaveTesla Brain Andross must havbe traumatized you then
Just Andross from SF64 scared all, but is da best
Never scared me the laugh (3ds remake🔵🎮🛩:)
Your Really Good At Boss Fights!
I Mean Really Really Good
3:51 how it feels to chew five gum
Stimulate your senses
I remember the first Starfox boss used to give me nightmares lol.
Even now it still looks creep as hell.
Crazy that a decade later and Adventures is still the best looking game in the series.
i had no idea the snes version had an andross cube inside wtf?
Game Sphere its because its only there if you complete it in the hardest difficulty
That shit scared me as a child i just launched all my bombs at it lol
The first games of star fox andross looked ugly
TheMegGmer
*_its because its only there if you complete it in the hardest difficulty_*
False. The cube appeared on all difficulty levels. The Andross battle on the SNES version was the same regardless of difficulty; shoot out the eyes, then the cube is revealed. Destroy the cube.
@@sixstanger00 so is there a secret battle in the snes?
The fucking HYPE as a kid playing 64, completing all those hard missions and finally the reveal of Fox's father. MAN what a time, legendary
Lylat Wars on N64 sounds different than my version like it's remixed. I think it sounds better on mine. Games actually look awesome. Although I hadn't got interest getting any more Nintendo consoles sadly. Great video btw. Got me interested in newer Star Fox games now.
“A fox taking orders from a Dog, Is that really how you want to live?”
Me: Screw you animal ganondorf!
Literally had no idea you could shoot bombs into Andross' mouth in Starfox 64
+Kevin Riehl You don't have to so long as you can escape the vacuum, but if you have a healthy supply of them you might as well since watching Andross look like he just ate a Carolina Reaper is so goddamn hilarious. :P
Star Fox Adventures Andross is creepy, I never noticed how creepy he is till now but the lifeless face during the fight is just something.
12:03 Talk about severe constipation. Andross was trying so hard to poop that his head went BOOM! 🤣
😂
12:06 Great shot kid, that was one in a million!!
"And now to destroy the Lylat system!" as a gently floating head and hands?
May Rick May Rest In Peace,
He’s up there in Heaven wishing you all will have medals, and rocket jumping.
First one is still my favorite, Starfox used to be cool, mysterious and scary.... than it turned into a kids game 😔
Nintendo Development Team:" uhm... Mr.Miyamoto...we uh...well we were wondering if maybe we could create a diffrent final boss instead of andross for this next star fox game?"
Miyamoto: "Your f%#÷!ng fired"
Great video bruh
3:03 OH NOOO ITS THE EVIL SPAGHETTI MONSTER!!!
I have played Star Fox 64 since it came out and I never used the break to shoot off the eyes. genius!!!!
Salvador Salinas brake***
@@gapplssb I think they actually meant bomb? The guy here uses the bomb to blow the eyes off of the brain andross. Also surprised me they didn't shoot at his eyes to make him expose his hand even more.
Andross himself disliked this video.
Chalex Gamer no shit they’re showing his ass get beat in the video
Wow how original. Yet another "big bad must be one of the few dislikers of this video" comment.
Lol
Fox Disliked The Vid Actually
I dont know dude . This is recycled over and over again the moves are the same, kinda borring since N64 they dont have some new ideas . Its actually the same battle with the same guy saying the same things . At least the andros from N64 was scary AF
Wow, Star Fox...Now, that definitely brings back some memories!
Amazing video!, i almost forgot how epic was the moment Fox is leading by his father outside the Andross place and then disappearing in N64, a great nostalgic moment, i loved adventures too, i don't care how bad people talks about it, it was a great game to me, with amazing graphics and epic soundtracks, i hope i can play the games after adventures someday.
The star fgox zero fight with him looks like Megatron and him had a baby.

Zero wasnt bad game for it being the wii u (🔵🛩🎮:)
who else was terrified by Andross when you were a kid playing it on the N64
Yes omg
the brain part was always a pain
It wasnt to me man (🔵🛩🎮:)
And just use a bomb to take out the eyes and use a bomb to take out the brain that's how I always do it
I only remember andross from the SNES and to only discover him appearing into adventures, it was a surprise! :D me and my brother wondered what happened to him that made him so deformed after the first Star Fox. I love adventures, it’s the best graphics I’ve seen, not to mention the music is just...beautiful. I think I’m maybe the only Star Fox fan to not like n64. ^^; though. I never got to play it, nor did I really care about it. My only Star Fox games were, the snes, adventures, assault and command. I did get zero. But I don’t have a wiiu... I want to play it though, since it reminds me of the snes and refs to Star Fox 2. But awesome video.
that moment when you realize that Krazoa Andross used some SFX from DOS DooM. around 9:17 i heard some sound effects that i THINK were an Imp or Zombieman
Star Fox Adventures and Assault were the best. I dunno wtf Nintendo is doing now. Those were peices of art with an actuall plot.
+Edori Maybe with Star Fox Zero being a reboot(I think), they're going to restart the series from there? I'd like to see a better version of Adventures and Assault in one game for the next installment...if we get another installment lol.
+XDarkEcho I know Star Fox Assult is possible but I'm not sure about Adventures. The concept of the game was previously owned by Rare so it's a hit or miss.
If they remade Assault, or made a second one, that would be awesome! I just remember the controls for infantry Combat was a little off, but other than that, it was ahead of its time
Edori Fuck you Microsoft
Adventures and Assault literally destroyed the franchise
