I do not think she has anything to do with building muscle after 40. I used to work out allot years ago. But then stopped. Lost allot of muscle. But then decided to try and get back to getting bigger muscles again and my flexibility back as it was. Started working out with the weights again. But just assumed ok your starting over. Not caring that I could not do the same weight as when I stopped 10 years ago. That I will be only able to lift lighter at first. Be sore for a few days after. But just keep at it as when I first started. As the months went by reps got easier adding more weight. Stretching further and further. And now I am in the same looking shape as before. But now I am 68. Motivation is a big thing. Not having in your mind with what you were lifting many years ago and get unmotivated. Or no I am to old for this now. That is not a good frame of mind to get in.
