Man, I so badly would want to see her running again, despite how unlikely that is, hearing and seeing this thing roaring down the track with such speed must've been a sight to remember
There's no whistle more beautiful than listening to a beautiful reading 6 chime! Clearly nothing beats a wonderful reading 6 chime! The Reading 6 chime is my favorite whistle to listen to! ❤❤❤❤
Very impressive and handsome Lima locomotive works built 4-8-4 type locomotive that is the C&O 614, i always enjoy seeing footage of this locomotive in operation. It's a true shame that locomotive 614 is no longer in operation anymore as I would really love to see this engine back in action again in the future.
Almost similar in some notes to 765’s whistle if ya know what I mean, gosh if 614 could run again with 2716 and n&stcl 576 I would be happy with the 3 of em running, but 614 would need lots of work like what they are doing to 2716, n&stcl 576 and nkp 587 rn in time now I assume, right?
As of right now, 614 is still temporarily on display, but I wouldn't count her out yet, she may get steamed up again once 2716 is finished, and with that no good Richard Anderson out of the picture, I sure do hope William Flynn brings back Mainline Stean again, that way, we'll see more of them in the near future;)
It’s possible for her to return, it’s a matter of if there get enough funs, they find a place for her to run Either that or a cosmetic restoration in her Presidential Livery or back to her original Chesapeake and Ohio Livery
Actually 614’s original whistle was deeper toned much like the one on 4014. The greenbrier class all used longbell 3 chimes. 614 has only been using the higher pitch whistles during it’s excursion career.
Supposedly, she had it on her for her Cheesie Safety Express excursions, but the whistle sounded different due to the damage sustained to 2101 from the roundhouse fire.

Well you'll be able to have that chance she's going to Strasburg and being worked on for 2 years
The old Girl looks and sounds a lot different from her model on Trains Simulator
I really love this Reading 6 Chime whistle sounds so beautiful.
This was previously on #2102
@@atlantis0v-104 No you are wrong
@@SuperFoxyRailwayProduction6702 Hey don't correct me!

Nothing absolutely nothing beats a steam whistle
Beautiful sound from a beautiful locomotive
One of steams finest sounding voices

I remember riding behind ol' 614 on the Chessie Steam Special in 78' from Saint Albans, WV to Hinton, WV and back.
Lucky
@@Autorailrun2006 yes indeed!! I was 14 years old and absolutely loved it. A very special day and trip. Will always remember it.
@@SMichaelDeHart that sounded really fun and awesome
#614 wasn’t operational until 1980. Are you referring to the Reading #2101?
@@Train_Tok_Man maybe it was...too many years ago. It was the Chessie Steam Special from Huntington to Hinton.
That things going so fast! Look at it go!
I was about to question of the 6 chime until I saw the Nickle plate power comment
Thats a very unique whistle
Wow the Whistle sounds great!

NKP 587 is not being worked on by KSHCO as we do not own and are not leasing the locomotive. 587 is ITM’s responsibility.
@@LRF152 And that has since changed with 587 going to a new owner
Too bad she’s owned by a terrible person.
Can I use the opening clip in my song The Ballad Of C&O 614? I can provide Credit if needed
Awesome throwback
Love that whistle!
Me too
Awesome steam whistle
1:08 Video?
Sounds exactly like reading 6 chime
Here's a different whistle on the 614 on the run.
I hate jack salvin
Excellent!
I would pay $20 to see 2716 with 614's whistle
That’s it???
So this Is A Reading 6 Chime?
Yes is a Reading 6 Chime whistle
Next One of these Whistle Compliations you should do 630 if that’s your option or opinion

dude, epic
The biggest train you ever seen.
C&O 6 chime or Reading 6 Chime?
Nickel Plated Power a custom made 6 chime
Commanding Officer Kanawha nice nice. How you been bro it’s Isaiah
Commanding Officer Kanawha It’s a Reading. Not a custom
This is a Reading 6 chime.
Sounds like a reading 6 chime or modified C&O 6 chime
It sounds like a Reading 6 Chime really
If 614 went on a whistle battle w/ UP 4014, it WOUND NOT stand a chance. It’s like a little boy going against a Big Boy
Mike Studioz true, but the 614s whistle sounds *so* much better than the whistle on 4014
Commanding Officer Kanawha True, BUT I kinda prefer 4014’s Deep toned whistle rather than 614’s
Actually 614’s original whistle was deeper toned much like the one on 4014. The greenbrier class all used longbell 3 chimes. 614 has only been using the higher pitch whistles during it’s excursion career.
Why does it sound like GW 90? It sounds so much familiar.
Because it's a reading 6 chime. Both Strasburg #90 and C&O #614 have it.
@@WesternRailway1592yea I can tell now
Sounds Like Strasburg #90s reading 6 chime
yes F O A M

is that 2101s whistle
Missouri River Railroad no
