I'm going to have to try that Nanofil, seems to work great! Thank you for the recognition and brand awareness. A big thank you to Mark who I believe sent you these out of his own will. Keep on slaying! Kyle
It snowed here last night. I made a snow ball and gave it to my wife. She was not amused. Some day, it will be warm here. Until then, I just watch your channel.
Hey bud, drop a dab of super glue on the jig head as you place the body on the jig. You’ll catch more fish on each body that way. And we can both thank Mr. Richard Gene, the Fishing Machine!
Keep fishing man! It's been a while since I've been able to go out fishing... I'm trying to stay indoors and safe. My congregation is all about 65 and over, and I just don't want to risk anything. So I have to sacrifice my fishing time during the COVID19 pandemic to keep my congregation safe... Yeah.. sacrifices need to be made. But I really appreciate you going fishing and sharing it with us all. Makes be keep my sanity! God bless!
Lol yes I have come to my senses! When covid came out first I got caught up in the fear and so did everyone in my church. Since there was no information about it back then… we got caught up on the media fearmongering. After a month we started to realize the incredible amount of misinformation that was going on. And got over it. Went back to normal life.
John you can't tell what any rod is like by standing in the store wiggling it. I depend on you for rod tests in the field. You and I may be in two different countries, but Walmart carries most of the same rods. Your commentaries on equipment are very much appreciated. Thank you and I give you this thought for fellowship on the water. "And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
I got to try that Nanofil line, I cast a lot of light jigs and can never get the jigs out there, big crappie. The nikko stone fly and caddis fly work great for panfish and trout, can't wait to get on that redbreast bite, tight lines and happy fishing🤘🎣🤙
man, it is a real joy to see those vids, especially in this times of panic and crisis. thanks and keep it up! u got a huge fan in this part of the world
Nice action John. That Crappie was a "beast". Every bit of 2 inches thick, impressive. First, PB's in a Smallie, then a Largemouth and Striper in NC, then this monster Crappie. You're on it brother. Thank you for posting.
If you stop having fun, you should just go back to work full time and fish when you can, till then, relax and enjoy. Berkely makes great line, I started with triline xl, then moved to vanish fluorocarbon. They made some very good ice line as well.
I bought a AVOSLA3902L • 9'0" Light • 1/32-1/4 oz.lure • 4-8 1b. line because it was really cheap at my job. It’s for crappie. It’s not a bad rod. Very sensitive so that’s a plus and being able to cast far.
Wow! Love watching your videos, and especially since we've been having so much rain lately... I'm living vicariously through your channel. As soon as my vehicle gets fixed and the weather clears up though, I'm planning on getting back on the water and enjoying God's creation first hand. Keep the videos coming, stay safe, and tight lines. God bless you, sir.
Another good vid.. You inspired me to get out and find new places. I found one the other day that had a “new” species for me. First time I’ve ever caught giant creek shiners. They averaged 6”, big one was 7 5/8”!! A friggin monster! A few small spotted bass also, not BIG but chunks. Thanks again for the encouragement. Keep ya line wet.
Man you can grow a beard fast nice crappie looks like the Hiawesse is still flowing fast hadn't been up there few weeks found a creek alot closer got some good slabs in it
Not sure how big Crappie get in rivers and streams...but hopefully you'll make a video at some lake and catch a three or 4 pound Crappie.....they are freakish!
Who in their right mind would give you a thumbs down 👎 on your videos.....I work the late shift and it’s one of the first things I do when I get home...UA-cam a Creek fishing adventures video
Good stuff again! I used some of the heavier 17# Nanofil a while back and wasn’t overly impressed. At the weight it was fairly stiff and hard to cast. That was years ago so maybe they’ve made some changes now. Definitely looking to move to a thinner braid because I put on 6# mono in a pinch and though it’s been nice with some bigger fish we’ve gotten into it’s really hampered my casting.
I use the 17-pound nanofil for fishing walleye in the river in the spring. I like it for the heavier weights I have to cast. I like the 10-pound Nano for regular fishing.
Would like to try out that Nanofil line ..... Will get one as soon the stores open .. as of now everything's under lockdown in our area ..... Man, I'm missing the outdoors ..... 😊 In the meantime ..... Keep posting your videos 👍
24, March 2020 . I am so glad you like the NanoFil line John. I know ya like ta use light line tho I wanted you ta try this different type of line. Strong enough to land large fish and thin enough to cast a mile ! I've used this for several years now ,and this is all I use Now. It does cost , tho when ya use it you see the difference. This should last way longer than other types of line. This way the cost is not too bad. Thanks for the great review, people look to you for tackle you use. Some may try " NanoFil " line. Best price is on Amazon ! God Bless and stay safe, Tom Daytona Beach, FL.
I know. We was gonna go today but had to adult and mow the lawn haha maybe this weekend we can get out. We thought about maybe walking and fishing the green way.
Creek Fishing Adventures love the videos man. Pretty cool. Love seeing you use most Of the stuff we can get at local stores that are typically inexpensive
I'm not a crappie fisherman though I have caught a few here and there while targeting other panfish, what do you mean by citation size? Is there a size limit?
@@CreekFishingAdventures Oh, I wish we had that here but I think all we have are state and national records but I could be wrong. I've never caught any fish considered trophy size.
hey man I've watched your channel for a while now and I do alot of creek multi species fishing too and wanted to give you some lure advice an I have alot of luck with a couple strike king KVD 1.0, strike king bitsy minnows and cream mico cranks.
I saw some 4lb line at a local fishing store and man that stuff is so thin I might go back and buy it. Same brand as he used. I think the diameter was 5 or 6 thousands of an inch.
It ain't about the giants, its about the experience!! Thanks for another great video!!
I wish more people felt that way Sir!!
I'm going to have to try that Nanofil, seems to work great! Thank you for the recognition and brand awareness. A big thank you to Mark who I believe sent you these out of his own will. Keep on slaying! Kyle
yes he did, thanks
Hahaha...this is Awesome!! Great bait💪🏽🇺🇸
I’m proud to call you a brother in Christ.
It snowed here last night. I made a snow ball and gave it to my wife. She was not amused. Some day, it will be warm here. Until then, I just watch your channel.
its coming
I see I’m not the only one that looks for your new videos every day. Enjoyed thanks.
Watching you catch fish's left and right makes me feel better after skunkin out at my local lake these past weeks. Thanks!!!
Hey bud, drop a dab of super glue on the jig head as you place the body on the jig. You’ll catch more fish on each body that way.
And we can both thank Mr. Richard Gene, the Fishing Machine!
Thank you for sharing our Lords word
Glad to see you get a few with the Combat Jigs.
yep now i got some others to try
thanks for another awesome fishing trip Sir 👍👍✌

Yes sir, I could literally sit and catch those white bass all day and it would never get old!!! To much fun

How would you have caught Covid by going fishing? Serious question. Have you come to your senses 4 years later?
Lol yes I have come to my senses! When covid came out first I got caught up in the fear and so did everyone in my church. Since there was no information about it back then… we got caught up on the media fearmongering.
After a month we started to realize the incredible amount of misinformation that was going on. And got over it. Went back to normal life.
AMEN! That was just a great Creek Fishing Adventure!!
Those white bass are really nice and that crappie was big. That river is really great. Great Video 😊
Nice day for catching fish as is any day..that crappie was a tank..a mess of those would make a great clean and cook..thanks for the fun.

I like this video. Nothing fancy. Just an enjoyable, laid back John Dalton day fishing.
I’ve been using combat jigs for about 2 yrs now for crappie. The hellfire jigs work great!
That crappie would take the ride home lol
👍
I bet as an honoured guest!! 😂🤣
Heck yeah. Honored guest lol
That line sounds really good, I like the fact your keeping fish for bait.
krazy kat fishing how you doing brother? I just found your channel again. Man how I have missed your videos.
i hope to catch a few catfish soon
@@delbertwallaceiii644 I'm doing good wish I could fish more lol, glad you found the again.

Dude I’m gonna try some of this creek fishing and film some videos on my channel this spring and summer. Thanks for the awesome videos and tips
Love the piscifun flame reels, super smooth for the price, hard to beat!
Yes they are!
I been looking for a new light line to try thanks 😷

Boy if I found a place like that I'd have to pitch my tent lol
That was fun to watch thanks 😃👍
Try the Kalin's crappie scrubs. They are dynamite on crappie, white bass, and bull gills. Also the occasional "green carp".
Nice crappie.
Man that's fun to see! Thanks for sharing!
Get a notion to, come fish Southern Indiana with me sometime!

You sold me, gonna have to pick up some of that line.
spring is good time to fish. those fish are hungry.
yes it is a great time

hope you get out there soon
Biggest large mouth I ever caught was on a trout magnet trying to catch bream for catfish bait. 8lb 3oz
wow thats so cool
I caught a carp that way one time it was at least a 10 pounder, on a ultralight ugly stik and bubble gum pink trout magnet.

Nice video buddy . That line seems to do a fine job . Thanks for the review
Man you've got me waiting for the white bass to run here. Thanks for continuing to put out great content.
Geez what a crappie 😳
Me and my son caught 18 good white bass thursday at our local lake. They fight bigger than they are.
you are right, they are strong
Planning to go fishing tomorrow, hope I can catch a crappie that size🐟
Love it dude!
Great angler, keeep up with catching those giants
Nice video👌
I bought the cast king Centron 2000 ..I love it i cant believe how good of quality it is for the price..and it cast great!
i have a castking summer, good little reel
Welcome to the brotherhood of Microline! Hard to go back to mono after you’ve tried NanoFil and Gliss!!
you are right, its so fun to feel the straight power of the fish

Try out "Notorious Custom Jigs". Fish will love them where you're at.

@@fishtoledo I’m hoping to do some trout fishing this year. I haven’t caught a freshwater trout in NC yet.
The boat ramp on the Hiwasse.? That is a good river. A lot of honey holes.
you always put me in the fishing mood, love the vids brotha.
Nice work out there, having a slay fest in that spot. That outlet pipe might be key.

Mud boots! That's what I need to fish a creek near my house that has very slick banks.
I have a 3' rod and a micro underspin Zebco that is a ton of fun...but it's hopeless to get a big one with it.
That was a huge Crappie. You were catching fish left and right!
That's why I've used braid to fluoro for years now. Super sensitive!!
i'm slow but coming around to it

Man I miss catching white bass on the ohio. They are few and far between anymore..
Your beard grows really fast.
haha, you never know when it will come back
Been wanting to try that line are you using a leader and if so mono or fluorocarbon?
Nice fish 🐠

Hey man! I'd like to get in touch with you and take you to the special creek spot that my son and I fish in Rocky Face, Georgia.

Wow that beard grows fast lol
Don't explain I got it figured out
well I..........ok
Do more kayak fishing videos 😁
i got a trip planned for this weekend, if it doesnt flood like it has all spring
Try spring creek Donalsonville,Ga
Nice!
That's what we call a slab here in Alabama and i would have been making the grease stink at home
Citation Size?
its like a trophy size fish, the state will give you a certificate that looks cool and your name in the list of others
You should try for a catfish video, find a creek with bullheads in it
caught a 26 lb blue cat today, my new pb, going for catfish again tomorrow
What kind of camera were you using when looking at you? Really clear
yes its a canon m50 i think, very nice view

ayyee 4:26 now that's RIGHT IN THE SNOOT
thanks man
Do you eat any of those good fish, that is a nice crappie. I use to have a 🍯 honey hole all crappies was 10-15".
not usually
Where is this at in Charleston?
on the bank of the hiwassee river
I always buy cheap to fairly cheap line and it always disappoints! Maybe its time to invest a few bucks. You think 4lb would be better?
i think its pricey but it was really fun to use
I saw some 4lb line at a local fishing store and man that stuff is so thin I might go back and buy it. Same brand as he used. I think the diameter was 5 or 6 thousands of an inch.
No matter what I use (besides live baits) I cant catch anything 😂 still go fishing faithfully
Is this the Hiwassee ?
yes
Also what a good crappie to add to the trip. That makes it worth it right there.
