Nice review. Last Saturday, I went out shopping for a new small SUV. The Alfa Romeo dealer near me is closed on Saturday (so no sales and no service). So I went over to Mini and bought a 2024 Countryman S model. The fit and finish is excellent and the driving/handling is phenomenal. Sorry Alfa, but if you are not open for business then you won't get my business.
If you really wanted an Alfa you would have waited. If you were going to get married,and your wife didn't show for a few hours,would go look for another women. I have heard MINI has a real bad reputation for breaking down, while Alfa's reputation is getting much better. May be Alfa was closed because they don't need that much servicing,and MINI was opened because they have many problems. I hope the MINI makes you go back to the Alfa dealer. The Alfa is the better looking,driving and engineered vehicle.

Additionally, based on their sales numbers and complaints Alfa is not getting better, they are only getting worse. The reports don't lie. Lastly, what you heard about the Mini is wrong. The third gen Mini's 2016+ are bulletproof and rank high in reliability. Go back and tell your sources they misled you.
