Gojo weakaned Sukuna to the point that everyone else could have a chance, putting Sukuna on constant burnout and recover fron there on, froced him to show most of his techniques and trump cards, including the world slash, and got rid of Mahoraga and Agito, either of which would have been far worse than even Uraume. Gojo truly was the MVP.

Maki got one sneak in before becoming a Black Flash breeding machine for Sukuna, whereas Todo lives up to his title as the GOAT of Support with his new version of Boogie Woogie. It's a perfect list otherwise o7 SIDE NOTE: Sukuna praises Todo and his CT three times throughout their fight! Todo is a true Jujutsu Sorcerer
And he was able to deal damage, (if only a little) to Sukuna and keep up with Yuji as well as really only getting hit because the plot needed him to being distracted by Yuta falling lol, and he also pretty much tanked Sukuna’s Black Flash while still making sure no one died when his Vibraslap broke by leaping in the way of Sukuna just with his own speed and durability. Todo is the GOAT lol
Id say he was about #3 tbh. Yuji wouldve been able to handle sukuna i think but this just is the best support possible for yuji. Emotionally and physically.
Maki had the Soul Split Kitana. All the damage Sukuna had until his reversed curse technique came back was from Maki. Because you cant easily heal soul damage. She stabbed his heart and took two of his hands. And she went 1v1 with him for a whole chapter or chapter and a half and didnt get knocked out until 4 chpts. (She wasnt in the fight enough but she did solo him) and Sukuna was basically complimenting Maki the most out of everyone.

Remember, the only reason sukuna wasn't able to use his domain was because of 200% Purple damaging him so much to the point he needed to waste CE to heal it. Without that, Gojo would have to approach Sukuna, and as you know, Sukuna's domain can destroy other domains and can't be destroyed itself. The only way to deactivate Sukuna's domain is destroying Sukuna himself(which is made easier due to Megumi) If Sukuna's able to get his domain out before Gojo reaches him, Gojo will be forced into a domain battle with a domain that's already out. Or simply domain(which is a horrible way to go about it) Also if you're wondering if Gojo can just not show his cursed Energy or something that is only due to the barrier that was put up. That's why sukuna misinterpreted the 200% purple. So put respect on the Gojo squad.

I actually wholeheartedly agree that Ui Ui was the second most important character in the raid because, as you said, without him Yuji dies 2 Chapters into his contributions to the raid.
Cause he fought sukuna alone,thats whats happened when you 1vs1 king of curses that aren't holding back. If he join the sukuna raid squad instead,he would totally contribute A LOT.

It's the other way around. sukuna wouldn't last longer if its yuji and higuruma were the first one to jump him instead of kashimo, higuruma would activate his domain instantly like he did in past chapters which, in turn, will confiscate the kamutoke even before sukuna had a chance to use it, which in turn would deny sukuna his emergency regen and transformation
Gojo was the lynchpin in Sukuna's downfall but I think Yuji deserves more credit than he receives. Dude learned curses exist literally 6 months before this battle. The rest are high school students, Gojo had his entire life of Jujutsu experience.
First Video on this topic from someone that actually READ the manga. I like how you get the details and acknowledge contribution to the fight, that's not just based on fighting. Would have put Mei Mei higher tho, her CT was crucial to observing the battle and acting accordingly. Not only did they know that Sukuna can't use his domain anymore, they could pinpoint the excact moment to enter battle and her crows were used by todo to swap places, which was important to let yuji get a hit on Sukuna. Also Kusakabe was really useful in the preparations, he taught RCT and SD to all of the cast and was a major information giver during the gojo fight, if he wasn't there the fight would have gone very differently. Also small little detail you missed on Kamutoke, it was actually used to kill the crows, Mei Mei crow striked Sukuna with. We got told that ONLY Gojo ever defended that attack and now Sukuna uses a Cursed Tool to easily deflect it, not even acknowledging it's existence. That just shows how lethal Kamutoke is and how troublesome it could've been if it hadn't been confiscated
Imo, the top 4 are Gojo, Yuji, Yuta and then Ui Ui in that order but I think that no one can argue that they are the top 4, even if you can debate what order
11:00 fighting multiple opponents really is just that hard. The difficulty is not linear you see. For example, if you eat one jumbo sized burrito, and ingesting it gives you difficulty, eating two will not be just two times as hard, but outright impossible
That Gojo fight really is just the classic show how much better a character is and have them essentially "win" before being cheated and losing to the bad guy 101. It's really common in stories to make the reader less upset that one of their favorite characters dies. At least everyone had some part in all of this
How do you feel about sukuna's change of heart at the end? Do you think it was genuine, and if so, could there be a possible short sequel where sukuna takes on the role of a Kurama-esque figure or an internal mentor figure to a possible future vessel?
It's been building up to it if you ask me. The general theme among all the strongest sorcerers was how do we deal with out isolation? Sukuna who has always held the title said he shows love by doing just that. Be the strongest. But he never shared that strength. Gojo had a different plan. Because of what happened with Geto, Gojo wanted to share strength so he spent time encouraging and helping his students be stronger. Sukuna wonders what it would look like if he chose a different path at the end of the Manga. Finally considering more than himself and his own strength. And I think its obvious. It's likely he will go on and actually help others get stronger rather than make everything about himself. Personally, it doesn't feel genuine because it's such an important point in the story and the only inner monologue we have from Sukuna is of him analyzing things during battle. And we still don't have his clear backstory. So it makes it feel kind of fake. But the story seems to have been leading up to this.
Personally I feel as though death is what lead to Sukuna's change not words or defeat. For a person like him to give a chance to change he first had to die it was necessary and had he been left alive he would've still kept his original ideology

I really love the final fight against sukuna. Most animes we see the protagonist and maybe his team agaisnt the BBEG, because they are already a match for him. But not in JJK, they had to get every single one they could to beat the BBEG, and thats just epic.
Megumi had good reason to not having alot of contribution, his whole existence was trying to save his sister and she was basically used as a gimmick puppet just to steal her brother’s body.
Gojo dealt the most damage, kept up, surprised Sukuna many times, but even in death, he contributed so much during his fight, not just once in death but twice (lingering effects of infinite void + the use of his body)
So the entire raid was basically Gojo making all his friends and students play world of warcraft, tell them to join a level 200 raid while he's level 180 and everyone else is around level 20, dying midway then just saying glhf before leaving the voice call
To be fair answering this is like saying who contributes the most in an RPG. The warrior who did the the most damage(gojo and yuta), the tank with crucial debuffs? (Yuji), the healer clutch keeping people alive (Ui Ui + healer lady), that one character that stays alive long enough for everyone to heal when the rest of the party got wiped? (Maki, Miguel, Kusakabe in 3 different ocasions), the one who shelters everyone from the boss' ultimate special (Todo). Everyone played a role and they played it well. Apart from Jacob's Ladder and Executioner's Blade doing NOTHING to Sukuna.
If Kashimo hadn’t fought Sukuna the rest would’ve all died. Imagine Sukuna getting a full restore after Yuta’s domain fails. They would be annihilated.

It's kinda funny when you think about it. Sukuna may have been the one to kill Gojo, but Gojo's actions and his ideals led him to defeating Sukuna in the end. So, it was more of a tie than you might think. Except, Gojo saved his child, but Sukuna lost his (Uraume).
Yuji was the 2nd most important in the raid, you said it yourself sukuna post reincarnation was at peak mind and body. Yuji was also the only one that weakened him enough for everyone to be able to fight aswell. Without yuji they would still have to fight a peak sukuna and they would’ve never beat him or saved megumi. Ui ui should be a close third
Even though Kashimo didn't do much, I feel like him forcing Sukuna to switch before the other sorcerers was a good idea. Sukuna eventually loses the full stamina buff from transforming, so Kashimo forcing him to do it early, even if it was by only a minute or two, makes a pretty big impact.
Ain't even a minute in but if Gojo, Yuta and Yuji are top 3 and Kashimo and Megumi are bottom 3; then I can't complain😂 [Edit] Nobara < Larue: If not for Larue, Yuji wouldn't have landed that black flash. He wouldn't awaken and Sukuna would've healed up and then gg no re... Mei Mei's crow helped Todo to trick Sukuna which allowed Yuji to land another Black Flash too but her placement is okay. Ino also deserves his spot too tbf, dude earned his nickname for a reason lol. With Yuta, I only have one more thing to add. He also tricked Sukuna into thinking he ate his last finger when in fact, he ate Yuji's finger. This allowed Sukuna's end to fully be realized with Nobara, Yuji and Megumi pulling through. If we count Rika as well, she made sure that they were able to see the battle and be safe as well in addition to healing Yuta long enough to not only body hop to Gojo but from Gojo as well. [Edit 2] I agree with the top 5 in this list for sure. Kashimo though... idk lol like you said, he shouldn't even be on the list. He did NOTHING. Sukuna was gonna transform regardless of who pulled up after Gojo's death because he was too damaged to do anything significant besides Kamutoke. He was just another body bag to buy time.
ma boi todo should def be up there with yuta. his utility was on the same tier. If we consider uiui gojo tier utility(essentially the defining factor of utility in this fight), todo was JUST under that(similar to yuta occupying gojos body being a wrose version of gojo himself but still strong AF). Being part of the 3v1 that ended kenjaku and enabled the killing blow, enabling yuji to keep up the black flash streak, saving everyone but yuji and choso from sukunas fuga, etc. Todo is def JUST under uiui if not on his tier with the amount of bodies he saved with that alone tbh.

I think we should add that a lot of the “plans” were just really stupid. They could’ve killed Sakuna multiple times easily and they just didn’t- It’s almost like Gege was making stuff up as he went along lmao. And saving Megumi wasn’t a priority idk why everyone keeps saying that. Gojo and Kashimo were going for the kill, Maki could’ve killed him too right after seeing that Yuji and Yuta failed to bring Megumi back but instead decided to randomly stab his heart in a sneak attack Sakuna didn’t even notice. They could’ve used the recorder at any point, they could’ve used Jacob’s ladder at any point, there’s just so many things that could’ve happened better but Maki is just like “It’s all Yutas fault we didn’t make these way smarter plays”

Gojo literally weakened Sukuna to the point where, he was at low RCT output, his domain was unusable he was left without the Ten Shadows, and pretty much had to rely on Hollow Wicker Basket, Black Flashes and an Incomplete Domain.. during the fight after Gojo.

having yuji at 3 instead of 2 is diabolical. The fact he had been fighting, weakening and fatiguing sukuna with some support or even alone at sometimes. And in that 8 hour span of fighting sukuna, EVERY fighter that went into the arena got their ass whooped out of it thats how strong sukuna was, except for nobara since she was doing shit ton of support outside the battlefield. Yuji stood there tanking everything and fighting, even todo went out. That 8 hours. BTW sukuna turned to his heian form basically reverting the physical damage gojo did to him. And still did the most damage, cause in the end, sukuna regained his rct and his caliber back. and a partially fried brain, yet yuji did the most damage and eliminated and stood there the longest and took the most damage. Id say yuji is at 2 or 1, its debatable.

Without kashimo they would need to force sukuna to reincarnate and someone would probably die to kamutoke without knowing what it does - even if they did know ( after seeing someone die) they would still have no defence aside from yuta, maki and hakari in jackpot (those available at the time)
Not to mention - despite sukunas weakened state he still kept up with kashimo somewhat
So the cast is not blitzing him or anything
If anyone goes there and it’s not kashimo, they die to Kamutoke
Essentially what I mean is - Kashimo took away a free health regen from Sukuna that would only be forced out of him if yuta had used his domain
This would mean that Sukuna would last much much longer than we see in the manga and many more people would be injured (Gege has it in his contract that the final villain can’t kill people unless they are certain to die so it’s irrelevant when they get killed anyway like gojo who was never gonna win and Choso who was living on borrowed time - shoulda died to kenjaku but got saved and had no real purpose afterward aside from the blood healing)

It's the other way around. sukuna wouldn't last longer if its yuji and higuruma were the first one to jump him instead of kashimo, higuruma would activate his domain instantly like he did in past chapters which, in turn, will confiscate the kamutoke even before sukuna had a chance to use it, which in turn would deny sukuna his emergency regen and transformation

First Video on this topic from someone that actually READ the manga. I like how you get the details and acknowledge contribution to the fight, that's not just based on fighting. Would have put Mei Mei higher tho, her CT was crucial to observing the battle and acting accordingly. Not only did they know that Sukuna can't use his domain anymore, they could pinpoint the excact moment to enter battle and her crows were used by todo to swap places, which was important to let yuji get a hit on Sukuna. Also Kusakabe was really useful in the preparations, he taught RCT and SD to all of the cast and was a major information giver during the gojo fight, if he wasn't there the fight would have gone very differently.
Also small little detail you missed on Kamutoke, it was actually used to kill the crows, Mei Mei crow striked Sukuna with. We got told that ONLY Gojo ever defended that attack and now Sukuna uses a Cursed Tool to easily deflect it, not even acknowledging it's existence. That just shows how lethal Kamutoke is and how troublesome it could've been if it hadn't been confiscated

11:00 fighting multiple opponents really is just that hard. The difficulty is not linear you see. For example, if you eat one jumbo sized burrito, and ingesting it gives you difficulty, eating two will not be just two times as hard, but outright impossible

That Gojo fight really is just the classic show how much better a character is and have them essentially "win" before being cheated and losing to the bad guy 101. It's really common in stories to make the reader less upset that one of their favorite characters dies. At least everyone had some part in all of this

How do you feel about sukuna's change of heart at the end? Do you think it was genuine, and if so, could there be a possible short sequel where sukuna takes on the role of a Kurama-esque figure or an internal mentor figure to a possible future vessel?
It's been building up to it if you ask me. The general theme among all the strongest sorcerers was how do we deal with out isolation? Sukuna who has always held the title said he shows love by doing just that. Be the strongest. But he never shared that strength. Gojo had a different plan. Because of what happened with Geto, Gojo wanted to share strength so he spent time encouraging and helping his students be stronger.
Sukuna wonders what it would look like if he chose a different path at the end of the Manga. Finally considering more than himself and his own strength. And I think its obvious. It's likely he will go on and actually help others get stronger rather than make everything about himself. Personally, it doesn't feel genuine because it's such an important point in the story and the only inner monologue we have from Sukuna is of him analyzing things during battle. And we still don't have his clear backstory. So it makes it feel kind of fake. But the story seems to have been leading up to this.
Personally I feel as though death is what lead to Sukuna's change not words or defeat. For a person like him to give a chance to change he first had to die it was necessary and had he been left alive he would've still kept his original ideology

I really love the final fight against sukuna. Most animes we see the protagonist and maybe his team agaisnt the BBEG, because they are already a match for him. But not in JJK, they had to get every single one they could to beat the BBEG, and thats just epic.
Megumi had good reason to not having alot of contribution, his whole existence was trying to save his sister and she was basically used as a gimmick puppet just to steal her brother’s body.

So the entire raid was basically Gojo making all his friends and students play world of warcraft, tell them to join a level 200 raid while he's level 180 and everyone else is around level 20, dying midway then just saying glhf before leaving the voice call
To be fair answering this is like saying who contributes the most in an RPG. The warrior who did the the most damage(gojo and yuta), the tank with crucial debuffs? (Yuji), the healer clutch keeping people alive (Ui Ui + healer lady), that one character that stays alive long enough for everyone to heal when the rest of the party got wiped? (Maki, Miguel, Kusakabe in 3 different ocasions), the one who shelters everyone from the boss' ultimate special (Todo). Everyone played a role and they played it well. Apart from Jacob's Ladder and Executioner's Blade doing NOTHING to Sukuna.
If Kashimo hadn’t fought Sukuna the rest would’ve all died. Imagine Sukuna getting a full restore after Yuta’s domain fails. They would be annihilated.
Nah not really, it was kashimo that actually helped sukuna last longer, if it were yuji and higuruma to jump first, sukuna wouldn't have the chance to transform to his heian form since higuruma's domain would just confiscate it

It's kinda funny when you think about it. Sukuna may have been the one to kill Gojo, but Gojo's actions and his ideals led him to defeating Sukuna in the end. So, it was more of a tie than you might think. Except, Gojo saved his child, but Sukuna lost his (Uraume).
Yuji was the 2nd most important in the raid, you said it yourself sukuna post reincarnation was at peak mind and body. Yuji was also the only one that weakened him enough for everyone to be able to fight aswell. Without yuji they would still have to fight a peak sukuna and they would’ve never beat him or saved megumi. Ui ui should be a close third
Even though Kashimo didn't do much, I feel like him forcing Sukuna to switch before the other sorcerers was a good idea. Sukuna eventually loses the full stamina buff from transforming, so Kashimo forcing him to do it early, even if it was by only a minute or two, makes a pretty big impact.

Mei Mei's crow helped Todo to trick Sukuna which allowed Yuji to land another Black Flash too but her placement is okay. Ino also deserves his spot too tbf, dude earned his nickname for a reason lol.
With Yuta, I only have one more thing to add. He also tricked Sukuna into thinking he ate his last finger when in fact, he ate Yuji's finger. This allowed Sukuna's end to fully be realized with Nobara, Yuji and Megumi pulling through. If we count Rika as well, she made sure that they were able to see the battle and be safe as well in addition to healing Yuta long enough to not only body hop to Gojo but from Gojo as well.
[Edit 2] I agree with the top 5 in this list for sure. Kashimo though... idk lol like you said, he shouldn't even be on the list. He did NOTHING. Sukuna was gonna transform regardless of who pulled up after Gojo's death because he was too damaged to do anything significant besides Kamutoke. He was just another body bag to buy time.

ma boi todo should def be up there with yuta. his utility was on the same tier. If we consider uiui gojo tier utility(essentially the defining factor of utility in this fight), todo was JUST under that(similar to yuta occupying gojos body being a wrose version of gojo himself but still strong AF). Being part of the 3v1 that ended kenjaku and enabled the killing blow, enabling yuji to keep up the black flash streak, saving everyone but yuji and choso from sukunas fuga, etc. Todo is def JUST under uiui if not on his tier with the amount of bodies he saved with that alone tbh.

Gojo literally weakened Sukuna to the point where, he was at low RCT output, his domain was unusable he was left without the Ten Shadows, and pretty much had to rely on Hollow Wicker Basket, Black Flashes and an Incomplete Domain.. during the fight after Gojo.

having yuji at 3 instead of 2 is diabolical. The fact he had been fighting, weakening and fatiguing sukuna with some support or even alone at sometimes. And in that 8 hour span of fighting sukuna, EVERY fighter that went into the arena got their ass whooped out of it thats how strong sukuna was, except for nobara since she was doing shit ton of support outside the battlefield. Yuji stood there tanking everything and fighting, even todo went out. That 8 hours. BTW sukuna turned to his heian form basically reverting the physical damage gojo did to him. And still did the most damage, cause in the end, sukuna regained his rct and his caliber back. and a partially fried brain, yet yuji did the most damage and eliminated and stood there the longest and took the most damage. Id say yuji is at 2 or 1, its debatable.
Most of times sukuna was just playing around with yuji, when he was really mad and ready to kill yuji, he was weak and took the L
