Tbh, I was worried at first with the ending of JJK, I felt like there were too many unexplained moments. But watching channels like yours has given me a deeper appreciation for the detail Gege put in. I heard someone say the story was more about Gojo & Sukuna than Yuji and I think that’s correct. I also LOVE how Sukuna and Gojo are portrayed as the strongest. Like their abilities are so far ahead of everyone else and the MC didn’t gain an extra power up to defeat the villain, it truly was a team effort to defeat Sukuna and the opportunity was only present because of his battle with Gojo. Like actually showing people in a story who are and always will be STRONGER than the MC was a new concept for me. I loved how it came down to strategy, not power even in the biggest fights. This will age like a fine wine. (Plus I have a gut feeling that the open endedness, of the ending is to maybe eventually have a sequel, but also closes it if Gege decides not to.)✌️
The peak of Shinjuku tbh 💕 Gege gave us the best we could get. I remember the funeral of flowers arts and stuff, it really was on of those things "you had to be there". I really did like his death as Nanamin said, he was like a samurai lol but Im glad I wasnt a gojo stan, they suffered alot. The only thing that still bugs me to this day is not mentioning his students one last time in having complete faith in them that they dont need him anymore. Ofc not exactly in those words but hinted at. He was just worried about his letter getting delivered to Megumi smh and that was it. Gege just being gege agian.
Amazing video! You've done an amazing job with this analysis! Particularly, you pointed out an entire new perception of the ending of the fight that I never seen anyone else speak about! I've seen so many people get hung up on who was stronger in the end, but I never saw anyone actually dissect the panels and make the connection of Sukuna facing away in Gojo's dream, and him actually facing towards Gojo in reality. Not only that, but it also shows that the principle was right in a way, as when Gojo remarks that "I thought you said Sorceres dont die with regrets" as Gojo realizes that he did make Sukuna feel the same way as him. You could honestly draw comparisons of the ending of this fight to Boros vs Saitama from one punch man. Both were the strongest and felt isolated cause of it. In the end, Boros felt that the fight was hard fought from both, but realized that Saitiama wasnt able to feel the same way. While the same is said for Gojo in his dream, he gets the happy ending as he is proven wrong, hence Sukuna facing towards him and admiring his strength. I feel as if the hate that this fight gets mainly comes from either die hard Gojo fans, or powerscalers that are constantly trying to prove a point. Again, really good video and analysis of the fight!
It's cool to see, most people at least get started on the show/manga because of gojo, they get deeper into the story through characters like Todo and Toji for example; then, at least for me, become completely immersed/cemented in JJK after reading this fight.
This was truly a beautiful fight, no yap jutsu, no flashbacks, nothing - just both throwing hands and CT’s Sukuna underplayed at the start of the fight, got serious by the end and praised Gojo at the end. Gojo gave his all, and in his death, he died happy. Even went on to admit, Sukuna didn’t go all out. Sukuna started the fight by claiming to remove the scales of fish, and he followed his claims by cutting through Gojo’s infinity. People say he used Mahoraga so he cheated, but he only did all that to learn how to truly bypass Infinity. We saw Sukuna using Domain amplification along with his Domain Expansion in base form. We know he could have gone his full form with Kamutoke if needed. There were no plots pulls everything was meticulously planned put on paper by Gege. It’s amazing when one looks past the weekly brain rot cope community and reads a work of art as truly intended. As one full story and not weekly tin foil brain rot where each reader didn’t get their head canon drawn next.
When I first learned of Gojo's death I was upset. I thought it was wrong and cheap and then I looked into it further and realized it was merited. I knew he was going to die at some point, but for a Mentor character to survive so close to the end was a pleasant surprise. Further examining it I found it was not cheap, he lost while fighting all he could.
really sad seeing gojo loose this way. Hes stronger in a 1v1 but sukuna outsmarted him and used mahoraga and the world cutting slash. Very good fight and a really good video!
Gojo wasn't alone either, that's why sukuna couldn't go all out It was even stated in the manga I think, sukuna needed to save energy for the rest of the fucking entire cast
@@PrincesaRobin And also, I may be wrong here it’s been a while since I read this part of the manga, Sukuna said he was unable to use his fire abilities against Gojo because (once again, I’ve forgotten a bit, forgive me if I’m wrong) either Gojo was too fast (probably not this) or Gojo got too close to Sukuna for him to use fire. Idc if I sound apologetic but once again, forgive me if I’m wrong this is only from what I remember and a few videos.
I see Sukuna as that isekai main MC that was given a weak ability and was treated like trash but worked his way up to become the strongest. Gojo was that isekai hero who was given S rank abilities from the beginning but got thrashed by the strongest
Oh, I caught up to the manga just in time for Gojo vs Sukuna, and you are right. It's one of those things you had to be there for the memes, the community losing there shit was amazing
He still is, though. He relied on the Ten Shadows, a technique that wasn't even his. @ he doesn't need to "breach" infinity. all he has to do is break gojos barrier and cause gojo to have a burnt CT and kill gojo with shrine. all sukuna has to do is stop gojo from resetting his burnt CT by pilling on damage continuously with his CT tool.
25:09 i can see that but i also take it that sukuna meant that hes going to break down gojos resolve and attitude and finally expose him like hes an average sorcerer just like the rest of them this is because , Sukuna calls gojo ordinary when he thinks hes about to kill gojo. This is because he hasnt devloped his WCS yet, which means Gojo was just a regular guy who fought sukuna ( the fight wasnt over yet so this was sukunas assumption or whatever) Gojo himself seeems disappointed in himself, expecting to die - but then UV kicks in furthermore Sukuna tells yuji the same thing "ive faced plenty of guys who shi talk a lot, until its time for them to die, then i see their true colours" ofc im paraphrasing Gojo also declares hes gonna wipe sukuna or something and that Sukuna is the challenger But in retrospect, we see Gojo had doubts about winning. Heck, the first thing he says is that he doubts he could win even if Sukuna didnt have 10S (ofc i already extrapolated on this specifically in another video of yours, i think its the one from last year based on the same topic) gojo also wrote letters to megumi and the others (the megumi one was particularly terrible "its in character" its trash idc, it was built up to be a serious moment. its trash) this further corroborates that he at least prepared for his loss, sukuna had no such failsafe's. He kept his moves transformation, kamutoke, fuga) until after gojo died, everything flowed perfectly. heck, if he cared enough he wouldnt even have lost. theres also the yuta and hakari jumping in part as well as Yuta literally training in gojos body Gojo was never gonna win, he died happily though but Sukuna nearly exposed him ("Ill enclose my domain and kill you while adapting to your infinity"). At least he dropped his façade in the afterlife
Your logic imo is flawed in any fight it’s a 50/50 win chance Having back ups in case something goes wrong isn’t a bad thing it’s called common sense in a fight to the death shown in chapter 271 gojo and earlier chapter was confident multiple times he would win. Which ig your failing to remember? Gojo left stuff just in case he lost that is all not that hard to grasp bit parties where going in for the fight of there life . Only 1 can win , doesn’t it make sense the person who cares for others ? Would leave stuff behind in case something bad happens ? Where Sakuna has nothing to leave behind or care for so he didn’t need to do the failsafe both individuals r 2 opposite 1 cares for others the other doesn’t even if both parties r confident In a fight anything can happen my guy U can be confident all u want but it literally changes nothing in a fight Anthony Joshua vs Daniel dubo for example Deontae wilder vs Tyson fury all of these people where confident GoJo never would of won cause of the sake of the plot sure I can agree to that
@@GEEKEDANIMENERDyeah I was about to say this. What preparations could Sukuna have made? Bro even said his existence is passing the time until he dies.
Hopefully we get a JJk pt2 or somthing similar maybe a prequel because I feel there is more to come in this universe the power system created and things like domain expansion are such a breath of fresh air for Shōnen type mangas. and I can respect the fact Gege told the story he wanted to tell and what a story it was. I can’t help but feeling I wanted more maybe another arc before the shinjuku showdown maybe a merger arc after but anyway it is what it is and I am happy we got what we got.
yes and no tbh. Gojo pushed himself to the limit because of Toji and Geto gone astray. without that he might get too cocky and go against sukuna without RCT and get killed. the other possible scenario will be be, he meet someone that can bring him to his awakening and then pushing himself to his limit and even able to do open domain.
Honestly one of the many reasons on why I think Sukuna in his Heian era form would win is because of the fact that he will have (Equal H2H or higher Advantage against Gojo which shouldn’t let Gojo land the UV that changed the course of the fight dramatically) and (Higher Output,Better domain + DA) and The Strategy used against Gojo would just be to Win every Domain Clash without taking the Risks he took in Megumi’s Body to Have Mahoraga Adapt to Gojo for WCS
I don't know why people debate that. Sukuna himself said he didn't *need* the 10 Shadows, but he used them because he deliberately wanted to build a technique that could bypass Infinity.

World Slash is still a Dismantle at it core. The difference is that the target is reality. This means that as it travels it is cutting apart whatever part of reality is currently overlapping with the slash itself.
@@Ecko20XX Exactly. I'm not sure how people keep misinterpreting it, it's literally in the name, "*World* Cutting Slash." Mahoraga adapted to Gojo's spatial manipulation with it's own spatial manipulation, and Sukuna copies it. How do you beat spatial manipulation? Stronger spatial manipulation.

Why the domain amplification or envelopment don't receive the respect it deserves, that's the reason Sukuna survives each attacks from Gojo, sheathing your body in an empty space isn't a simple thing to let the technique flow and being nullified, the technique knock through DEn or DA like knocking a water.....a very complexe defense to survive the strongest (Gojo).
Mostly cause the story oriented itself as the type of person Gojo was (a ‘monster) isn’t necessarily needed if a strong group of people are there to make others stronger. In the last chapter, he even says how everyone should be tired of concept of Gojo, and told Yuji to just be himself. Because Yuji is the type to raise others’ potentials, and not just his own.
24:00 didnt ryu live a fulfilling life reincarnate (like sukuna did) and get to have his dessert with Yuta and then overeat himself (sukuna)? as pathetic as it may seem (ryu got used to powerscale Sukuna, like how a strong character usually jobs to a stronger character to show that that stronger character is a threat - like hulk being violated by Thanos) im just saying, it may not look like it, but Ryu got what he wanted, i would even like to say he went out satisfied Tojis reincarnation too after learning about megumi higuruma too (lets just say hes dead cuz there was 0 reason to have him survive) Choso too also kashimo, he went out the same way gojo did
I maintain that Killing Gojo didn't defeat him. Sukuna getting jumpjutsu'd to death supports Gojo's ideals and values so much better than Gojo defeating Sukuna himself.

We’re here to have a meal😮💨
It's cool to see, most people at least get started on the show/manga because of gojo, they get deeper into the story through characters like Todo and Toji for example; then, at least for me, become completely immersed/cemented in JJK after reading this fight.
This was truly a beautiful fight, no yap jutsu, no flashbacks, nothing - just both throwing hands and CT’s
Sukuna underplayed at the start of the fight, got serious by the end and praised Gojo at the end.
Last part of your comment is just you venting like crazy. Chill out on that
Funny that in the peak of gege writing is when the community started to get more and more pissed with him, maybe that's why he just gave up later on
When I first learned of Gojo's death I was upset.

Wow this actually gave me a whole new perspective on this fight and overall story . I appreciate you for this video
Us sukuna fans had to put with the fraud allegations for months. I was so happy when he divided gojo
He still is, though. He relied on the Ten Shadows, a technique that wasn't even his. Look, it doesn't take a genius to activate mahoraga, mix all of the shadows and stall until Mahoraga finds an adaptation you can also exploit. Sukuna just autopiloted this fight, Gojo had follow the dude around to deal damage to him, and when he did, he DID. Point is, Sukuna prolly would've never realized the barrier's weakness by himself, only through ten shadows (aka the strongest technique in the verse). If anything, it's surprising Gojo still managed to last that long against Sukuna and land the hits he's landed. Sukuna just be op for the sake of being op fr.
@@ar7hur06he neveer needed 10s. he only used mahoraga to upgrade his arsenal
@@MoMo-vt2ij So how does he breach infinity and kill gojo?
@ he doesn't need to "breach" infinity. all he has to do is break gojos barrier and cause gojo to have a burnt CT and kill gojo with shrine.
all sukuna has to do is stop gojo from resetting his burnt CT by pilling on damage continuously with his CT tool.
This fight is just as iconic as Goku vs Frieza

i can see that but i also take it that sukuna meant that hes going to break down gojos resolve and attitude and finally expose him like hes an average sorcerer just like the rest of them
this is because , Sukuna calls gojo ordinary when he thinks hes about to kill gojo. This is because he hasnt devloped his WCS yet, which means Gojo was just a regular guy who fought sukuna ( the fight wasnt over yet so this was sukunas assumption or whatever)
Gojo himself seeems disappointed in himself, expecting to die - but then UV kicks in
furthermore
Sukuna tells yuji the same thing
"ive faced plenty of guys who shi talk a lot, until its time for them to die, then i see their true colours"
ofc im paraphrasing
Gojo also declares hes gonna wipe sukuna or something and that Sukuna is the challenger
But in retrospect, we see Gojo had doubts about winning. Heck, the first thing he says is that he doubts he could win even if Sukuna didnt have 10S (ofc i already extrapolated on this specifically in another video of yours, i think its the one from last year based on the same topic)
gojo also wrote letters to megumi and the others (the megumi one was particularly terrible "its in character" its trash idc, it was built up to be a serious moment. its trash)
this further corroborates that he at least prepared for his loss, sukuna had no such failsafe's. He kept his moves transformation, kamutoke, fuga) until after gojo died, everything flowed perfectly. heck, if he cared enough he wouldnt even have lost.
theres also the yuta and hakari jumping in part as well as Yuta literally training in gojos body
Gojo was never gonna win, he died happily though but Sukuna nearly exposed him ("Ill enclose my domain and kill you while adapting to your infinity"). At least he dropped his façade in the afterlife
Your logic imo is flawed in any fight it’s a 50/50 win chance
Having back ups in case something goes wrong isn’t a bad thing it’s called common sense in a fight to the death shown in chapter 271 gojo and earlier chapter was confident multiple times he would win. Which ig your failing to remember?
Gojo left stuff just in case he lost that is all not that hard to grasp bit parties where going in for the fight of there life . Only 1 can win , doesn’t it make sense the person who cares for others ? Would leave stuff behind in case something bad happens ? Where Sakuna has nothing to leave behind or care for so he didn’t need to do the failsafe both individuals r 2 opposite 1 cares for others the other doesn’t even if both parties r confident
In a fight anything can happen my guy
U can be confident all u want but it literally changes nothing in a fight Anthony Joshua vs Daniel dubo for example Deontae wilder vs Tyson fury all of these people where confident
GoJo never would of won cause of the sake of the plot sure I can agree to that

I can’t help but feeling I wanted more maybe another arc before the shinjuku showdown maybe a merger arc after but anyway it is what it is and I am happy we got what we got.

yes and no tbh. Gojo pushed himself to the limit because of Toji and Geto gone astray. without that he might get too cocky and go against sukuna without RCT and get killed.
the other possible scenario will be be, he meet someone that can bring him to his awakening and then pushing himself to his limit and even able to do open domain.
Sukuna would win without ten shadows. I’m on this stand until I die and I have many valid reasons why
@@erhiueQWEF Exactly since ten shadows allowed Sukuna to go through a Specific Way of beating Gojo that would Make him Both Win and Stronger are the end of the Battle

My only issue is that no one seems pessimistic about what gojo losing means for everyone else
The world slash occurs between chapters and between volumes.
Sukuna may have won but gojo showed out and proved himself in that fight

Sukuna getting jumpjutsu'd to death supports Gojo's ideals and values so much better than Gojo defeating Sukuna himself.
now if we can just get that movie adaptation...
Still on the opinion that Sukuna wouldn't have won if it weren't for Mahoraga. Adapting to infinite void, disabling infinity and developing the WCS. Other than that Sukuna would've struggled even in his HE form.
It’s 2024, stop the cope. TF Sukuna would’ve had an easier time destroying gojo compared to waiting for mahoraga to show him an adaptation he can use.

People doesn't understand the fact that make world cutting slash work so smoothly on Gojo:
1- Sukuna play with Gojo mind, to make him beleive he had other intentions, Sukuna only send 2 dismantle on this entire fight outside of the domain, one to test domain amplification and he makes sure to avoid infinity, making Gojo believe he want to use buildings and he can confront infinity even with a amplified attack, the second dismantle is the world cutting slash, also making Gojo believe it's a desperate attack + the surprise part...It was a meticulous plan, from the test, going through the learning of adaptation to the last attack.
