Curls of a CPA did a video on Donna's Recipe after using it for a month before washing her hair, and she loves it. Her hair stayed moisturized for 2 weeks before she needed to refresh or retwist her hair. The definition and moisture were crazy. I think that is one I will try.

Let me just say first, that I am loving these videos. I for one am over the “natural product lines”. I’ve been natural on & off my entire life and became a “product junkie” lol because of my two daughters. When they started middle school around 2011, they wanted to do their own hair & that began the journey. To this day, they are still natural hair girls, but are into wigs, so much that they learned to make them & will sometimes sell them to make extra coins while at college. For us now, it’s all about skincare. Besides my skin type, I know my husbands, my daughters & my two sons lol. So any talk about skincare, I’m listening. Thanks to you, I’m currently waiting on my order for the Biore UV watery sunscreen you mentioned in a previous video. I have sensitive eyes & you are the first person I’ve seen mention the watery eyes. Thank you and keep doing what you do ❤❤❤❤

**Love** the ingredient talk. Not a lot of people educate and discuss it like you. I also found Curly Chemist through you. Your information has really helped shape how I shop. I even delve into it when I do online product reviews. People may see it as a bother, but it should be viewed as possibly saving time, money, and their hair. Same for skincare. You don't have to become a professor on it, but being somewhat informed is best.

Living Proof has a curly hair line that was done with an AA hair stylist, Ursula Stephen. I enjoyed the curl cream in that line. They have a curl elongator and S/C too. I have been seeing some of it at TJ Maxx and Marshall's. You can get at Ulta too, just costs more.

@@liaht2955 Girl I'm no makeup girl. I just slap lippies on! I do recommend Andrea Renee and Jasmine Airdelle. They have bomb combo videos. And I dont scrub my lips. Because I',m a skincare nut, my lips are always moisturized.
I picked up the Donna’s recipe because the ingredients were pretty clean and simple, so I plan to use them on my kiddos. So far so good on the oil, and cream. I have used the leave in yet but if it performs like the other products I’ll continue to support.

Heyyy , I can’t even lie, Kaleidoscopes Soul fed collection is amazing I just didn’t get the oil and styler gel, The deep conditioner smells good. The shampoo was okay. I like the leave in, it had good slip.

The best bond repair is k18 and living proof triple bond. The 2nd best is L’Oréal ever pure pre shampoo

@@SheReaDelSol a cosmetic chemist said that k18 and living proof repairs 3 of the bonds in the hair. (Especially k18.) whereas L’Oréal everpure and Olaplex only repairs 2. And since Olaplex doesn’t work that good I might as well get a drugstore product.

Love your video I subscribed just wanted to write. I’m not sure if anyone else knew this but Redken, and ever pure and pureology are owned by the same company, which is why the L’Oreal Bondi pair is a dupe for Redken owned by the same people.
Please do a comparison of bond repair products. I've tried olaplex and the Curlsmith versions, but I just don't want to pay that kind of money for them. I have two kids,one in college, and one in elementary school, that constantly need stuff.
Honestly, These other products will NOT do what Olaplex does. They just can’t. Neither can Curlsmith but it’s always 50% off at Ulta.
Mielle (I know) has a new line out at CVS. This Avocado & Tamanu line. There’s a shampoo, a leave-in, some sort of “stay straight serum” and a curl defining cream at $12.79 a piece. Kaleidoscope also has some line at CVS with Da Brat. I forget all they have, but I know there’s a mousse and like three gels for braiding.

Redken is a salon brand that is under L'Oreal group (as well as pureology, matrix and kerastase). So often times L'Oreal will make a dupe for the drugstore market, which I think is smart of them especially since there are people who don't want to buy redken due to it's price but still want to use a similar albeit cheaper, product. Hence the L'oreal Everpure product.
Yes, other folks commented the same. I haven’t used Redken products in almost a decade so I had no idea who owned what. This is good to know, thanks so much!
I just used the everpure products for the first time and I must say my hair felt so good while washing. I’m sure it’s no where close to planked but I will continue to use it until I purchase olaplex

Yeah i remember the time when New releases rushed youtubers to review (but not anymore) and viewers wanted to try. The truth is that we've been Naturals for a while and we tried A LOT of products and at this time of our Journey we understand ingridients lists and we KNOW what works for us. Plus we accumulated stash for a life time and we need to use it. Thats why these releases are a hard pass.
I personally dont even use Black friday to buy /experiment New releases anymore, im stocking only my staples.

Bond repair hype is annoying because the only formulated product that will repair bonds is the Olaplex, everything is is Bond strengthening. They’re just making products that give a strengthened feel to the hair

I can't stand the TB Sweet potato shampoo the conditioner 👎🏾 my daughter is 3c and I can't get her hair soft with it! Leave in is good but I won't repurchase any of the 3 products I tried.

Citric acid???? Lol from an esthetician stand point I know they use it to lower the ph bc as a formulator myself that’s what we use it for but citric acid can be drying and make your hair weak and brittle it also bleaches hair naturally so a line with a lot of citric acid I’ll run from 😭
