It is necessary! Hair growth oils are not enough.
When looking at reviews on Ulta and Sephora, I filter out all the ones that received products for free or are paid reviews. Often the numbers go from hundreds to less than 20.

You actually helped expand my use of bond builders specifically Olaplex. Before your comprehensive video I had only used the #3. After the video I have used the entire line. It works! I would love to see you do a video on OUAI products. I got a sample of the detox shampoo & loved it.

I recently purchased the dyson airwrap And girl its beautiful. I use it almost every wash day. Every attachment works Beautifully love it and make drying a breeze. But I must say I went from a basic hair dryer to this Dyson. This is the best heating tool It's the beyonce of Hair dryers.

I saw Arfican Pride and CurlSmith and had to come right away. I love your videos like this. Really keeping me informed with these sales/ new products. African Pride Moisture Miracle line is the only hair line that I use almost all the prodicts from 👩🏾🍳😘. And I'm happy to use that Curl Smith Bond Salve because a bigger size is truly needed.

I just used samples of Olaplex 4 and 5. Love them! I will get the larger sizes now. I tried the Bumble and Bumble bond repair line. It doesn't compare to Olaplex. I also tried Innersense (non-bond repair). Like them too.
Olaplex is really the OG.
I have an older Dyson air wrap but I honestly use my Revlon paddle brush dryer more, the one w/o the bristles. I'll try it again but I feel like my Revlon gives me a smoother blow out 🤷🏾♀️

Why am I making a bday gift list based on hair products?😂😂😂 I need help! But it's been a while since I've gotten anything for my hair so I need a restock. I'm gonna get into the bond repair. So K18 is definitely on my list. Not the conditioner, but other products. And I may cave and try the Shea Moisturize line. I haven't used them in years...but I saw Amla on the bottle. Amla and moringa have become staples in my routine so I'm very tempted to try the line. And technically I didn't buy it if it's a gift. 😂😂😂

@@SheReaDelSolthe Pacifica coco bond shampoo really surprised me, it’s very moisturizing, the conditioner could be better if it were more slippery, and the leave in mask is super thick and has a tiny amount of hold. I don’t notice much strength to my hair but I have noticed less breakage especially when I refreshed my hair this morning.

I like them all for different reasons, to be honest.
I’ve noticed naturals are appreciating formulated products with nourishing and effective “chemicals” for the hair. But tbh the only reason naturalistas were doing natural diy’s in the kitchen is because of the lack of products formulated for us in particular.
Right, but that was 5 years ago. There’s room for both and I welcome as many options as possible.

On the Rosemary Scalp Oil I could do my own oil blend as a oil pre poo that has no chemicals in it and the rosemary oil would be the third ingredient …. DIY girlie LOL… Shea Moisture can still miss me🤷🏾♀️. So not worried about African Pride that is a whole white company with questionable ingredients. I want to hear your opinion on all of em :😊

Has anyone actually tried the Shea Moisture Bond Repair line?
I lovvvveeeee African pride products....Shea moisture was NEVER cancelled to me if i can use L’Oréal, nutree, ouai (white owned and largely black promoting), olaplex, native, etc....i can stick by Shea moisture which is black managed and no longer black owned so they would work into the Fortune 500 supply chain, they have some of the best shampoos and conditioners for our hair. ❤
Ok I’m back, lol. I am natural and i wear my hair straight and curly (mini twists, extensions styles, rollersets) equally. I love oils and Shea butters on wash day (apply to my hair and scalp and sit under drier for 30-60 min), and weekly on the scalp and ends as needed...and not coating my hair in oils and butters as part of my style and my hair is flourishing...i do think content about this could be important.c
Oh my not supporting Shea Moistire has nothing to do with them selling their company. Some allegations came out a few years ago about the owner and I can’t rock with it.
